The folks at Hamman are awesome! So many people told us how crazy and frustrating it was to build a house. They clearly had not worked with Hamman. From start to finish and beyond, there were professional, knowledgeable, available, compassionate, good communicators, and fun to work with. They took every question seriously. And the house turned out solid and beautiful, inside and out. I would absolutely work with them again, in a heartbeat!

Building a new home from scratch is one of the biggest decisions of a lifetime. Finding the right builder…well that’s even bigger. I am so over the top grateful to have found Hamman Custom Homes. Their process is smooth and seamless with each of four family members heading up different phases of the build. From home design to interior design, they had me covered from start to stop, front office to back office. HCH is one stop shopping which was a huge relief. Always, always, I had expert guidance and fast, two-way communication to stay on target. Throughout the build, Andy, Adam, and Cally wore various hats as my contractor, advisor, and therapist. Their demeanor is unwavering calm, always laying out details, options, and associated cost. Never any surprises. All while Phoebe deals with piles of back-office work with everybody and anybody involved in the build. They are experienced, knowledgeable, responsive, prompt, respectful, nimble, interactive and quite genuine. This extends to the fantastic subcontractor teams. In the footsteps of the Hamman family, they were also prompt, responsive, courteous, and active stewards of the property. Lorenzo, Matt, Martin, Daniel, Josh, and Mauricio are engaged and very approachable subject matter experts. They are all masterful at infusing or defusing situations. You just can’t commend them enough. Despite this build being across the back half of COVID with supply issues galore, the experience from start to finish has nevertheless been eye-popping refreshing and positive, like I jumped into the ‘contractor pot of gold’ for 18 months. This goes beyond the work of building a custom home and to the people and family. You just can’t help but develop genuine rapport with each of them. Hamman Custom Homes is a shining light for the next generation and proof that high standards and integrity does exist out there. I pinch myself every day at my good fortune in finding them.

Hamman built my new home, finished in March 2022. They did a GREAT job from planning, construction, cost control and followup on punch list items. I've used high end builders before but the care and quality of the whole Hamman team is the best. They helped me live within my budget, make good selections on finishes and demanded great work from their subs. If I have a problem they come out and fix it quickly. And their entire team are nice people! I would use Hamman again in a minute.

In the summer of 2020, my husband and I decided it was time to build a home. As we started to discuss our ideas, foremost in our mind as a builder was Hamman Custom Homes. Three years earlier, we had experienced the building process with HCH, and it was a remarkably positive experience, which gave us comfort to know we could choose to build for a second time with the Hamman team. The Hamman team is a positive choice on every level, and a choice you can approach with peace in your heart and confidence that they will see you through from start to finish, no matter what type of house you dream to build. We knew ours would be a little different than most homes in the area, as our dream was to build a California Mission House with a courtyard in the middle(our previous home built with HCH was a Santa Fe modern home). Adam(Hamman) assisted us in evaluating potential lots for the build, which was a two-month process as there are so few good choices in our area. Once chosen, he set us on the path to working with a good architect, Jesse Haass, in having the plans drawn. In June of 2021, ground was broken and the fifteen-month adventure of building our house during a pandemic began. Yes, I said, ‘adventure’. Many people would look at building a house anytime as a headache, as beyond stressful, or as a continual set of problems. With the Hamman team, it is not any of these. Each challenge is met by the team with a can-do, problem solving mindset that helps keep your attitude in a positive frame as well. Even when you feel you’ve run into an insurmountable difficulty, they are ready to take it on. This team includes many valuable members: Phoebe and Andy off-site handling the finances, Adam on-site with the help of his valuable supervisors, Eric and Jerry. Cally(Hamman) who is invaluable with her expertise as an interior decorator. Lorenzo who takes care of interior painting and other details with an eye to perfection. The subcontractors were professional, hard-working, and reliable. Everyone is there to work together with you to ensure that your vision becomes reality. Did I mention that this company is fair, honest and will help you find the best prices they can for what you need throughout the build? They do, which helps increase your trust in all that they do. One other thing, they are there for you after you move in. When we built with Hamman Custom Homes the first time, minor problems cropped up after we moved in, which of course will happen anytime you build a house. Each time, they were there almost immediately to take care of the problem. Will you have peace of mind when you build with Hamman? Will you be pleased with your new home? We have a high level of confidence that you will. We have been in our house for ten days, and we love it beyond what words can express. If we ever build a third house, we will of course be going with Hamman Custom Homes.

Building our dream home in Sedona with absolutely no experience, during the pandemic and being remote was a challenge we had taken up and was quite daunting. The best decision we took was to go with Hamman Custom Homes. Their professionalism, knowledge of building high quality homes, relationship with the city, patience and planning, and an absolute focus on perfection and quality while being completely flexible on changes and needs we threw at them helped us build out home in record time. Building my dream home with Hamman Custom Homes was a great experience! From the start, when I met with the Hamman's family at their office, I felt well-taken care of. They clearly explained what was happening and when and what was expected of me at every single step. I truly appreciate their communication back and forth with me, from the major decisions to the tiniest details. Whenever we had some obstacle to overcome, it was always a team work of them with me working on resolving the issue together. Great attention to detail, as well. I closed several days ago and moved in and there is, virtually, nothing wrong with the property. A great family-owned business, featuring a great team which knows how to run this show to perfection. And, if we think of it, a new construction requires zillions of decisions, coordination of the supplies/deliveries/sub teams, and more. Thank you, guys! I truly appreciate you and what you have bone for me! :-)

This is the first home I had ever built. In addition, most of the building took place while I was on the East Coast. Everything worked out fabulously! Hamman Custom Homes was easy to work with and all their staff were attentive, professional and their subcontractors were excellent. The finished product was all that I expected! I have only positive things to say about Hamman Custom Homes (Andy, Phoebe, Adam and Cally). They made my home building experience a pleasure. Additional kudos are in order for Cally who helped a great deal with all the interior design elements. With a few descriptors and pictures, she was able to make my home come to life with the flooring, paint colors, fixtures, and lighting. If I were ever to build again in this area, I wouldn't have anybody else build my home!

Choosing Hamman Custom Homes to build my beautiful new home was one of the best decisions I made in 2021. The entire team was committed to making this an easy and enjoyable process from start to finish. They far exceeded my expectations. They were organized, consistently communicative, and helpful with the timely resources and decisions required throughout my project. Despite Covid disruptions to supply chains, working together we came up with creative solutions to finish my home on time. What I appreciate the most is that they truly care about their clients needs and dreams, authentically delivering a quality product. This is our first custom home building experience. The entire Hamman’s family is awesome. They have highest level of integrity. They always delivered best quality and experience. This review is long overdo, and they are so worthy of every positive word! We had such a tremendous experience working with Hamman Homes, from discovery, to design and budgeting and then final construction, it was a seamless process. We were working with Adam, Cally, and their team long distance so we werent able to be there for most of the building process, however we were able to put our faith and trust in the Hamman team to produce a perfect product! Both Adam and Cally were so attentive during the whole process we never felt like we had to pursue any issues that might have arisen. Their choice of foreman Jerry, and the subs they use are a testimony to the pride they take in their work. Our home is beautiful and we wouldnt hesitate to use Hamman Homes again, and recommend them to anyone we know!

My wife and I had Hamman Custom Homes build our new home. We lived states away and came out frequently throughout the build of our home. From the beginning stages, Andy and Phoebe were incredibly helpful and detailed with the design, permitting, and lender information. Through the build itself, Adam was present every step of the way keeping the build running smoothly and efficiently. Cally helped my wife and I stay in balance with our selections and was helpful in getting us the best prices of materials! They are a very transparent and honest family business.
