Korndoerfer was excellent. It was our first time building a home and there is so much detail that goes into building a home that it seemed overwhelming. Korndoerfer made the process simple and easy by going through every single detail with us step by step. Our sales rep, Nicole, was fantastic. She was patient, and kind with us, and always responded right away to any questions and/or concerns. She was willing to spend time with us before we even signed any contract with Korndoerfer, which is one of the reasons we chose them as our builder. She delivered excellent service and made us feel valued before we paid a dime. The design studio made selecting everything easy, the staff was great, and they had plenty of options to customize the home exactly how we wanted. Our superintendent during the build, Rich, was also great. He was always in contact with me giving updates, and even provided us a calendar with 90 days left detailing when everything would be completed. He was always easy to get in contact with. If I called him I knew he would answer or call me back within a couple hours. The contractors they used were excellent, and any issue I had or something I did not like was promptly addressed. We built a home with Korndoerfer in 2021 and had an outstanding experience. Our new home consultant patiently worked with us to accommodate desires for features not in the standard build. The design team guided us towards great selections, all the while respecting that we didn't have an unlimited budget. Our construction manager made sure our home was constructed with the highest quality. The craftsmanship is obvious everywhere and noticed by all our guests. Friends reported that their experiences with other builders had been a nightmare, but with Korndoerfer it was a dream, no stress. We highly recommend Korndoerfer Homes!

We had been looking at building a house since 2018, vetted a couple builders and ended up signing a contract with Korndoerfer in late 2019, dig date in May 2020. We had no serious issues and completed in 6 months, including a 1500 sq ft finish in the basement which from what I hear adds 1 month to the standard 6 month build timeline. From the get-go, our sales rep, Duane, was great. He tried to help us think of as many things as possible in regards to purposeful upgrades to our home, was very transparent about pricing and we knew exactly what we were getting. Korndoerfer offered us an amazing amount of customization to our Carlisle Estate floor plan. We felt that we were able to make our home our own even with simple things like adding lit alcoves to display my guitar collection. Our interior selections process started rough - I distinctly remember my wife in tears after our first design studio meeting because she felt we were rushed and didn't really come up with what we wanted. I emailed Korndoerfer and they had no problems giving us another 4 hour design session a week later to address our concerns. This gave us the time to digest our first session and figure out what we felt was missing, and as a result we were much better prepared for the 2nd session. We re-did almost everything but walked away feeling great. The end result in our home turned out exactly as we had hoped and every finish and selection felt right. It takes time to design a home both in structure and interior/exterior selections - for us, the experience with Korndoerfer was excellent. Builders are busy and have many customers to tend to, but we felt that there was an appropriate amount of time and care given to us to help make the best decisions possible for our home. The building process itself was as I expected. There is a ton of detail that goes into building any house, and the reality is that no one is going to be as focused on your floor plan as you. I felt we had extremely competent contractors but we were still at our build site every single day to review what was happening. We caught several things the contractors missed but our super handled everything we brought to his attention. Our experience with Korndoerfer was extremely good overall because we were engaged every single day. I believe the experience of building a house is what you make of it. We have been in our home for 2 years now and are extremely happy still. We had a handful of pretty minor warranty fixes but nothing serious and I sleep soundly at night knowing I was able to watch my house get built every day and see the quality of the build. No corners were cut in any way which is a good feeling. The house feels solid, everything just does what it's supposed to do. I recommend Korndoerfer to everyone I know that is looking for a quality home that will last.

Korndoerfer Homes made our new home building experience VERY pleasurable from the very start until our move-in day! The entire Korndoerfer Team was professional, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. This was our second time building a new home and Korndoerfer made it a much better experience. We broke ground in January 2021 and moved-in on August 1st, 2021. So even with a few minor Winter delays they finished building right on schedule. Plus, even with COVID going on Korndoerfer was able to stay on schedule and finish when they said they would. The sales team, the design team and the construction team were all great to work with. We were probably a little more needy than most, but the entire Korndoerfer family were patient with us and took care of everything! The home itself is very well built with high end materials. We looked at several other builders and are very happy and very satisfied we chose Korndoerfer Homes. We have received so many compliments on our home too! We constantly recommend and talk up Korndoerfer Homes to people who are looking to build a new home or even buy an existing home.

Our experience was so wonderful. We were kept in the loop throughout the entire process. The craftsmanship is top notch. If you’re on the fence and trying to decide who to build with, you will not be disappointed by going with Korndoerfer.

If you want to build a custom home, I would avoid Korndoerfer. Very poor design/planning and very costly for custom changes. You will not receive reasonable credit for removing items but they will up-charge for every customization. Korndoerfer also uses very cheap materials. We incur problems such as basement leaks multiple times that never occurred at our previous home that was nicely custom built in the same county. Owner takes forever for a callback and is also rude and just makes excuses upon excuses. I don’t normally leave bad reviews (see for yourself on my google account reviews) but I really would not recommend this company.
