About Bill -- I came to Charlottesville in 1973 to attend the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture. In 1977 I graduated with a degree in City Planning and like many who have ventured to Charlottesville never left. I started Rockpile Construction Company to finally realize a goal of mine to become involved in a small construction company anchored in the "old school" values of hands on supervision, attention to detail, and quality construction. I bring 35 years of building experience to Rockpile Construction with a fundamental set of skills; knowledge, patience, attitude, and financial stability, that will see any project through to its successful completion.
