Floor heaved had to be replaced. Took a year and a half to get it fixed. No electrical plugs on shelves Drain in half bath in wrong place Garage ceiling Wrong tile in wrong rooms 9 months to build No heating vent in bath. Garage floor poured incorrectly. Does not slope therefore water pours in. Jet tub not installed properly. Big box behind the tub now. Contractor did not attend sub meetings Temper Building your home is not personal. Need I say more.

We hired Alex to build our new home while we were still living in Omaha, Nebraska. Since we weren't going to be here while our new home was being built, we needed someone who knew what they were doing, someone who could take our vision and house plans and produce the house of our dreams, and most importantly. someone we could trust. Alex was that person and then some. He sent pictures and called us every four to five days during the six months it was being built but it didn't prepare us for how awesome a job he had done. He should have had a TV camera rolling as we went from room to room inspecting our new home. We had tears in our eyes and could barely speak. He did all this and came in $20,000 under budget. So many contractors would have managed to eat up all of the budget, but not Alex. There were a few things that needed to be corrected but the ones that did were corrected promptly and at no cost to us. He even came back four years later and replaced shingles and a piece of lap siding that blew off during one of our famous and frequent wind storms. He didn't charge us for doing this even though it was the wind's fault and not his. The next year Alex built a 2,300 square foot pole barn shop with a cement floor to store our boat, tractor, forty foot motor home, and all the toys that a retired man thinks he should have, proving his versatility. I highly recommend Alex Kaylor and Saddle Mountain Homes for your next home building project. You will not be disappointed! It has now been eight years since he finished our home and we are still getting compliments on how good a job he had done.
