We hired Barb and Randy when we were looking to relocate to a new area. We liked the Wausau Homes construction process, as we had built a home of similar construction years earlier. After the first meeting with Barb, we knew we wanted to work with her. Most of the process went well, but every construction project has its ups and downs, unrealistic to think otherwise! Any questions or concerns we had were always handled quickly and professionally. We're very happy with our new house and look forward to many years in it to come!

We are beyond excited to share some feedback regarding the recent completion of our new home built in Fox Lake, WI by Wausau Homes Waunakee. Thanks to Barb Ravenscroft and her crew, what began as ‘just throwing around ideas’ became reality in a very reasonable amount of time for us. Being this was our first experience building a new home, there were many variables and details that we would never have imagined needing our attention in the process from ‘idea mode’ to building culmination. Rest assured, we were never left wondering for an extended amount of time. Communication was always prompt and informative to direct us along the way. Barb’s guidance and thoughtfulness in acquiring local vendors and sub-contractors to steer us in the decision making process was a welcomed bonus. When problems or issues did arise (both during and after construction), Barb and her staff were always quick to respond, investigate and remedy the situation. While we were confident in our decision to build a quality home utilizing the reputable Wausau Homes Company, we were pleasantly surprised and grateful for the true partnership that Barb, her crew and the Wausau Homes Waunakee staff formed with us. Their consistent availability and honesty was, and always will be, particularly important to us. We remain willing to open our home and share our positive experience working with Wausau Homes Waunakee, as we feel the quality customer service and craftsmanship merits worthy recognition.

Barb and Mike were good to work with and we are very happy with our new home. I would recommend keeping in contact with them on a very regular basis to make sure that everything is done the way you want it. We had a few issues, nothing major, and I believe that is normal in any building process. The actual deadline for completion was met, but the app they use to track progress wasn't updated on time and was usually inaccurate. It wasn't a big deal, just nothing that we were able to find useful. We did go over on budget; some of it was based on our changes, but there were a few items that may not have been allocated to the right amount in the beginning. If we build again this will be something that we will look at more closely. Again, our biggest request was keeping us in the loop of any changes or issues with the build. I would also recommend taking a tour of the Wausau factory to get a good grasp on the whole process. Thanks again Wausau Homes of Waunakee! The house turned out great and we couldn't be happier!
