We have the pleasure of working with Younger Homes on building a semi-custom home, and we can confidently say that the overall experience has been nothing short of exceptional. If you’re planning a future build in the hill country, Younger Homes is an excellent choice. In my opinion the only choice. The team has been great to work with, we have no complaints or issues so far in our process. They have made the building process an ease for us. They build sustainable and quality homes. It has been a privilege to know and work with the Younger Homes team for the past few years. It's wonderful to work alongside a like-minded company that cares passionately about land-stewardship, human health, and creating the highest quality projects that each budget allows. At the helm, Jesse and Danielle love to serve their clients well with a consistently upbeat and joyful disposition, as well as an eagle-eye for getting the details right. As a designer for their clients, I have been able to watch the ends and outs of many projects from design through completion and know that they are deeply self-sacrificing, knowledgeable, honest, and virtuous business owners. This mindset has created a company culture of generosity, patience, and graciousness towards both clients and trade partners in an industry where it is frequently lacking. They've been highly supportive in helping me pursue personal career goals and it has been a blast to brainstorm and dream about future possibilities with the visionary folks on this team. The company is driven by efficiency and organization, and I can trust that my designs will be respected and well-executed. As an added bonus, they are just super fun! Many of the crew have a killer wit and sense of humor, so they are great at diffusing the commonly stressful problems that can arise during any custom build. They are my top recommendation in the region.

We met Jesse and Danielle back in March of 2020. We were about to sign with another custom builder but when my wife met The Youngers, she knew that they were the ones for us. With their strong Christian values and organized hands-on approach, we were sold. Although we have had many challenges and overages primarily due to Covid we still are sure we made the right decision. Denny (our superintendent) has been a rock star! He has been an excellent communicator and good friend through the entire process. Katie (project coordinator) has also been wonderful, although she primarily calls with bad news and has “the worst job at the company” we can’t ever be upset with her! I would say if you are looking to build a custom home (and have the stomach for it) Younger Homes is a great organization to work with and have unparalleled integrity! Although we are not quite complete, we will have exactly what we wanted in the end.

There aren't enough words to tell you what an honor & blessing it has been to work alongside the Younger Homes team this year. They are thoughtful, intentional & give so much attention to detail. The processes that they have created help move every project along. These processes allow the clients to get their dream home in a timely manner & gives their team exactly what they need to execute. They not only care about each home that they build, but they care about the families they are building for. When you build with Younger Homes you know that you are getting a home that has been built with integrity, an experience that will leave you feeling heard & every question answered, and you'll be working with the best in the industry.

The thing I appreciate the best about working with Younger Homes is that they work to make the things I like better. A few examples are: Jesse proposed modifying the original foundation placement to better match the lot topography. The result looks better, and at the same time saved us money to spend on other parts of the house. A second example of note is our wish for a floating staircase. Jesse worked with us to incorporate that feature and make the best viewing with and for it. Younger Homes also has lots of support for stuff we are less familiar with (interior design choices were an area where we knew we needed support). Everything is turning out exceptional and we are looking forward to moving in!
