Ana Antunes Homestyling

We ask Ana Antunes to help in the design of a bedroom for two girls with ages of 14 and 8. Ana came up with an amazing project that address the different expectations of the girls, giving each one their own space, a playground to the little one and a living area for the teen! And the look and feel of the bedroom works well together. Ana also helped in my bedroom. I adored the wallpaper and the fabrics suggested by Ana. We are so happy with their work that we have asked Ana to suggest the decoration for our living/dining room. What a project! We love it and we are “work in progress” to have an awesome remodel of our room. I would definitely recommend Ana Antunes for anyone looking for a fantastic interior designer.

I became familiar with Ana Antunes and her designs through my mother, who already was a very happy client of hers. While to some people it might sound a bit crazy to hire a designer in another country, the internet makes it very easy, and Ana really knows what to ask and what she is doing. She helped me fix a painting mistake I made in my very challenging walk-in-closet-turned-bedroom, and she did it in four hours. She told me how to easily fix the problem with a light fixture and a contrasting horizontal line, but she went beyond that and recommended an updated chest of drawers and a few decorative pieces that she found for me at local stores. After a quick shopping trip my tiny room became my favorite place to hang out. I cannot give Ana a higher recommendation.

Ana is my favourite decorateur. I simply love her work, but i also admire her as a human being- a wonderfull one. She helped me with my new and dreamed house. It was a small project but she was kind enough to do it!!!! Thank you Ana!!!

Ana Antunes is an amazing, creative, talented, caring, and patient designer. I recommend her because she creates beautiful spaces especially tailored to fit her client’s lifestyle, needs, desires and budget in an insightful and pragmatic way. Even though we are in two different continents, she has created amazing concept boards for me using products I can find here in Kentucky. And if I want to support local artists and artisans –who may not be easily found on the internet- I go to the local galleries and find options based on her recommendations, which I email to her for approval. I tend to buy everything that catches my eye, creating cluttered, visually overwhelming rooms; Ana comes to my rescue by designing rooms that mix the items and colors I like, with the order and calming atmosphere I need. The best part is that she does it while teaching me why her ideas work and how I can avoid the old pitfalls. She is the only decorator I trust with my home. Update April 2015: We rent this condo on Airbnb.com, after redecorating it with Ana's guidance our average monthly rentals went from $850/mo to $1300/mo!! (and still increasing this year!)

Ana Antunes is our favorite decorator and an amazing person. She did the whole new decoration in our restaurant in Braga- Portugal.
