Annie Liddle Design

I have worked with Annie over the last few years on multiple projects updating rooms in our home and could not be happier with the results! She is excellent at listening to us describe an overall look we are hoping to achieve and then presents us with ideas that are even better than we imagined. Annie is very creative, amazing with pulling fabrics and wall coverings together with furnishings which results in making us so happy to enjoy our new space! She is also the most organized designer I have ever worked with and is very conscientious to budgets and overall project management. I truly enjoy working with Annie and highly recommend her!

Annie is absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough! She began helping us in the spring of 2021 and immediately jumped right in. We had moved a few months before from a much smaller city apartment to a house in the country. It was an interesting project as I liked the majority of our existing pieces from our previous home and wanted to incorporate them into this new house. Yet, we needed quite a bit more furniture and help pulling everything together. Annie jumped right in and helped tie together the rooms with existing furniture while offering suggestions for new pieces. She also is great at making quick decisions and pivoting on the spot, which I appreciate. While I happen to like interior decorating, choosing fabric is terrifying to me and wow does Annie shine in this space! She arrived with a large suitcase full of fabric samples and we spent a few hours going through them and choosing all our window treatments, which made a huge difference in how our house feels. Annie's patience and sense of humor is great and we love the (nearly) finished product! We look forward to continuing to work with Annie on future projects and definitely recommend her work to any looking. We have worked with other decorators on our previous apartment, and while we generally had a good experience, Annie's level of communication, professionalism and the skills she brings to the table are outstanding. Highly recommend!

My husband and I hired Annie to help us with the designs for five rooms in our house (2 children’s rooms, dining room, living room and sun room). Annie is incredibly sharp, organized, thorough and talented. She has a natural (and VERY trained) eye for all things interiors and was an incredible resource when it came to project management. With two little ones at home during a global pandemic and working full time, I would have never had the time or energy to coordinate with the multiple vendors and resources that she did for our projects. Before utilizing Annie, my husband and I truly thought there were rooms and spaces we could design on our own. Shortly after beginning to work with Annie we were able to see her incredible value-add when creating special spaces in our home. There is no corner of our house that will be done from here on out without her expert eye. Beyond all of her talents, she is an incredibly kind person and such a pleasure to work with. Every time we interact I absolutely learn something new about interiors! Although she is busier than most, she always worked tirelessly and made my husband and I feel like we were her only clients (despite being a smaller project for her!). We cannot wait to continue to work with Annie in the future.

Annie and her team are absolutely the best! Her task was challenging: she had to thread the needle between beautiful, functional and comfortable and pulled together a tremendous concept and design that when executed left us speechless. From original meetings, mock ups, review of materials and pieces, including art, Annie was professional, prepared, and efficient. After installation we were left with a brilliant new mud room, a warm, relaxing family room, a new updated dining room, a welcoming and cool office and a spectacular powder room. And the coup de gras, my favorite room in the house, a new laundry room:) Each item, from paint, wall coverings, lighting, window treatments and furniture, was carefully vetted and planned: no detail was too small. We could not be happier. The overall effect is a sense of serenity and comfort, which we crave after long days at work. Importantly, Annie and her team were respectful of our ideas, our budget and our time lines. We felt like a part of the team the entire way, which is how it should be. We whole heartedly endorse Annie Liddle Design: she and her team are the best of the best. We will use them again, and hope you do too.

Annie has been tremendous to work with and I highly recommend her. I could go on and on about working with her, but to simplify: Her strengths: 1. She listens to her clients before she makes recommendations (she does incorporate client's desires and brings them into a larger vision) 2. She communicates consistently & sets expectations appropriately so there aren't any surprises along the way (and stayed within the budget we discussed at the beginning) 3. She was extremely transparent throughout the entire process which was helpful in establishing trust with her early on Her Value: 1. So much of our time was saved through her project management 2. How quickly we got through what would have been a years long project - even in the midst of a pandemic! 3. We would have spent a lot more money to get a lot lower quality furniture in our home + likely made mistakes regarding fabrics and scale that we would have had to later correct Details: My husband and I moved into a large, 100 year old home in East Kenilworth with a lot of quirks. We were overwhelmed with the idea of furnishing the home but weren't sure if we really needed an interior designer. I truly enjoy this type of work and thought I might be able to tackle some of this myself. We ultimately decided to have her help us with a few rooms to start (our Living Room, Dining Room & Sunroom) before moving on to the rest of the home over time. Now that phase 1 of our work with Annie is done, we are SO HAPPY that we hired her. You can really tell a difference between a custom designed home and the quality and thought of each item we selected. Every time we met with her, she came extremely prepared and ready to work. She was very open to collaborating and involving us in the process as much as we wanted. We had a lot of concerns on the scale of furniture given the size of our rooms, and she knew exactly what to select and where to place it. Everything she picked out turned out perfectly. She listened to us, was open to our ideas, and picked the perfect blend of designs for our space and our tastes. Not only does Annie have a great eye for design, she's a fantastic project manager. As a busy family with two working parents plus a toddler & baby, I am so grateful that Annie was on our team to take most of the work off our plates and just allow us to handle the fun stuff. All of her vendors that she recommended (electrician, millworker, painter, window, shutter installers, pillow seamstress, + many more) were wonderful to work with. If you want a beautiful home while saving time and you're considering hiring Annie - go for it! You won't regret it.

I hired Annie Liddle to design our new foyer, living room and dining room spaces. My experience working with her was exceptional. She listened to my wishes and brought in new ideas to create lovely and comfortable rooms. We are very happy with the design and furnishings.

Loved working with Annie! It was a remote job but felt like she really took the time and effort to understand the space and come up with creative solutions. She helped me source furniture and fabrics for my main living space and bedroom. Always made sure we were within the budget and still provided different options. Annie also consulted on paint colors and art placement, really takes a holistic view of the space in question. Can't wait to work with her on future projects!

Annie was so fantastic to work with- I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for interior design services! She has a great eye for mixing patterns and works within the budget to find creative pieces that accentuate the room.
