Architectural Color & Design Group- Grisell Navas

I had the please of working with Grisell Navas in the Summer and Fall of 2019. I will forever be grateful for her work in transitioning our house into a home. We received a referral from Grisell as an architectural consultant soon after our family moved to Danville. I was looking for an experienced color consultant and skilled interior designer. I could not have done the work that she did on my own as the process of interior design is overwhelming to me. We worked well together. She listened to my needs and ideas. She did fantastic job putting all of the pieces together! Moving to a new area, it was very helpful for me to work with Grisell because we were able to use her trusted connections in the design community. All of these vendors were professional and offered expertise in their field. I was impressed by the design process that Grisell uses starting with selecting the correct paint colors. She helped me choose the correct colors to paint many rooms inside the home and the front door. We worked together to create beautiful windows treatments, accent pillows, and reupholster furniture. She assisted me in choosing new carpets in the bedrooms. She helped me select a large rug and select furniture for my kid’s playroom. We also worked together with electricians to reposition chandeliers and do some electrical work in the house. In addition, she helped me create a special family picture wall for our family room. She helped me select different pieces of art work for different rooms. I appreciate how she helped me select items that were not all custom made. We shopped together at Ethan Allen, Wayfair, Home Goods, Williams Sonoma, etc. Grisell Navas comes with a lot of experience. She is an expert in interior design. She is professional. She kept in contact with the vendors to make sure that all of the projects were completed by the holidays. She did a fantastic job managing all of the projects that were going on at the same time. I highly recommend working with Architectural Color & Design Group. I look forward to working with Grisell more in the future.

My 43 year old home needed remodeling, new front doors, interior paint, floors, fireplace, furniture and a good eye. A friend recommended Grisell Navas, an architectural color consultant and interior design specialist. My entry double doors now are Caliente Red and they are STUNNING! Grisell coordinated the interior paint, a warm grey, new flooring and rugs with furniture I had. With her guidance and placement of furniture the rooms look larger and have kept the warm and comfortable look I needed. She listened to what I wanted to achieve and gave me ideas to move forward. I had just bought my house and was looking for a change in color for the exterior. I had no idea where to start or what colors to choose, so I decided to contact Architectural Color & Design Group. Grisell was amazing in assisting us and picking out the perfect color combinations. Everything turned out amazing and she was extremely helpful and professional. Grisell is a very experienced designer. She took the time to listen to my concerns for our kitchen and family room. She has a real eye for color. Our home lacked color, warmth and character. Placement of furniture was also a challenge. My husband and I wanted a home that was comfortable, unpretentious with an old world charm. We needed to hire an Interior Designer and a Color Consultant who listened and understood what we had envisioned. We highly recommend Grisell. She is an excellent interior designer, with an eye for color and home decor. We initially hired Grisell for color consulting but continued to work with her for our home renovations. She was instrumental in helping us select fixtures, furniture, tile, colors etc. In the end using her services saved us time and money.

ACD helped me immensely with my kitchen and flooring projects. It was a challenge because I needed to be able to integrate my furnishings and stay within budget. Everyone loves our choices!

I met Grisell at a party where I saw a newly renovated kitchen that she designed. Originally the space was not large but with Grisell’s design it looked much bigger, it was well planned, and made it a very functional kitchen. It was an extremely inviting space and absolutely beautiful! I was in the process of my own kitchen remodel and had a contractor but failed to have a design consultation prior which was a big mistake. After many hours of frustration and delays I called Grisell for help. She came and reviewed all of my contractor’s suggestions and listened to my issues. Grisell made several design recommendations and talked me through each one. She helped me select my finishes and even went with me to re-select my countertops. She made suggestions within my budget and helped me select the materials that were best for my space. Thanks to Grisell I have a beautiful and functional open concept kitchen that I’m excited to reveal to my friends! Grisell is now helping me select my new flooring throughout the house.
