Barbara Williams is the Owner and Lead Decorator of
B. Christine & Co. LLC. Barbara's love for design started very early in life while watching her father painting, building, and remodeling homes for his contracting business. Years later, she would unearth her love for design and put it to practice in every house or apartment in which she lived. She also assisted friends and family which decor selections and design ideas over the years.
Barbara's professional experience as a Logistician for 13 years allowed her to liaise and glean knowledge in research, with extensive experience in communication and relationship-building skills. Attaining these skills has allowed her to build genuine relationships with both clients and contractors.
One day after organizing her closet, Barbara discovered that her cluttered closet unknowingly caused her anxiety and mental chaos for years. Barbara realized that she felt an unexplainable peace after removing the mix-match hangers and clothes that no longer served a purpose. Once everything was organized and clutter-free, Barbara knew she wanted others to experience this same peace in their homes. This simple task of organizing her closet would play a significant role in solidifying her design style- light and airy.
Barbara strongly believes that one's home is a reflection of their inner person, so she desires to create light and airy spaces so that the mind, body, and soul are at peace within the areas she decorates.
Barbara is a graduate of the Aspiring Designer's Academy and is a member of the Interior Design Society. Because Barbara is a lover of learning, she is enrolled in The Interior Design Institute to garner more in-depth knowledge while also receiving specialized knowledge on various automated interior design tools.
Ballard Designs and Pottery Barn are among two companies that feature Barbara's designs.
Barbara resides in North Alabama with her husband, bonus son, and their 2 Yorkies. When Barbara is not working, she enjoys relaxing with her phone, watching medical videos on YouTube, gardening, and DIYs.
