My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

With over 20 years of experience in high-end residential and hospitality design, our firm has successfully collaborated with award winning general contractors, architects and artisans within the industry and throughout Northern and Southern California, San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula, Monterey Peninsula and North Bay. I would highly recommend the talents and impeccable design services provided by the team at Chelsea Court Designs who recently completed my Beach House remodel. They carefully crafted an inviting and comfortable aesthetic, utilizing our collection of antique furnishings, art and photography gathered from our world travels, successfully layering them in a thought provoking and highly creative way throughout our home. In particular, we were thrilled with the transformation of our Primary Bed & Bath into our very own personal sanctuary, along with creating our dream indoor/outdoor Kitchen, saturated in earthy organic textures that we adore, while managing to retain the high function and durability for our entertaining needs! Honestly nice people, but what you get for the money is absolutely ridiculous. Our first bill was 9,000 dollars and all they had done at this point was put the blueprints of our house into a CAD drawing. This is something that you can pay people to do for 50 dollars. They came to our house, took our blueprints, took our Pinterest page - then billed us 50 hours of cad to start our project. As soon as we got that first bill we terminated the service.

In 2017, we purchased a beautiful vineyard property in Monte Sereno, but it was dated, impractical and didn't suit our needs as avid cooks, frequent entertainers, pet lovers and last but certainly not least - parents to two young children. We had visions, ideas and ambitions but struggled to see how these would come into fruition and that's when I reached out to Chelsea Court Designs. After seeing their portfolio, it was clear that Marie and Sascha not only have impeccable taste, but they're also incredibly creative, practical in their approach and knowledgeable of all the ins and outs of the design process. They have also given us invaluable advice and guidance in picking contractors and vendors. Working with Marie and Sascha has been an incredible experience - it's a lot of fun but also we've always felt that we're in the hands of true professionals who are invested in seeing our project through and ensuring that we're nothing short of ecstatic with the end result. Now, our move into our dream home is imminent and we will be celebrating Christmas there. It's been quite the adventure but we wouldn't have chosen anyone but Chelsea Court along for this ride!

We have been working with Chelsea Court Designs (CCD) from the very beginning of our project - which is a new house build. CCD has worked seamlessly with our architect and general contractor. CCD has helped us with every aspect - choosing plumping fixtures, all hardware, counter materials and tiles, appliances, light fixtures, paint colors, pool tiles … AND furniture. CCD listens to our desires, presents alternatives and comes up with suggestions that we would have never thought about!

My wife and I contracted with CCD to perform the design portion of our remodel. This remodel was no small task, changing the design of our house from traditional to a transitional, along with the sheer size of the project. The project took almost 18 months to complete and turned out better than we could imagine. Marie and her team, especially Sascha, did a superb job and kept us in the loop on all aspects of the project. Their suggestions and illustrations, which were constant from the start, made it easy for us to give feedback for discussions and changes. This point was paramount for us. We would consider their professionalism, creativity and design concepts, willingness to receive and incorporate our feedback, communication style and ability to work with our contractor, second to none in the Bay Area. All these points are necessary for a designer to be successful and the client to be satisfied with the end product. We would highly recommend them if you in need of a high-end design firm.

We have worked with Marie over the years on projects as small as furnishing a children’s game room and, most recently, as large as remodeling our entire home (including tearing much of it down to the ground). For our recent remodel, Marie provided architectural direction as well as interior design, both with superb results. Marie and her team are consummate professionals. Marie brings an outstanding eye for design and an innate ability to optimize architecture, space, and color. Because Marie brings a wealth of knowledge to her projects and works well with contractors, she also played an invaluable role in ensuring that the practical side of our remodel ran smoothly.
