After understanding my needs better, she sent me options to pick from, operated within the constraints and preferences I provided, and executed with a really great looking apartment in Downtown Miami! We bought our first condo in Miami back in the spring and we needed help! We were taking occupancy in roughly 6 weeks and our condo needed some work and also all new furniture. We are both very busy working professionals and simply do not have time to handle what needed to be done before we moved in. Additionally, we are new to Miami and really did not know where to start. One of the best things we ever did was contact Yvette Mullings of Edgewater Design! Yvette took on the challenge of our tight timeline and defined budget to help us create a Miami home we truly LOVE. She took the time to meet with us in advance, capture our design preferences, discuss our budget and gathered the proper measurements. She provided a fair proposal which we accepted and within days she started sending us options for furniture, fixtures, remodels, lighting, wall art, accessories and paint. Her design recommendations were great and she was always very patient when we changed our minds about certain choices. I don’t think we were ideal clients…LOL. Shortly thereafter painters and contractors were in our condo executing her vision. Yvette has a vast network of excellent providers in South Florida and she was always on point with ordering pieces, scheduling deliveries, dealing with our building/elevators, receiving of deliveries, assembly and overseeing contractors. She project managed the entire project from beginning to end skillfully and efficiently. She always kept us informed of progress and was very nimble when dealing with provider inventory and delivery issues that typically always happen with projects like ours. Yvette was very meticulous with the placement and staging of all our pieces and the end results are beautiful. She completed our entire design project in just over 3 months within our desired budget and we couldn’t be happier. Again, we love our apartment and always get compliments from friends and family who have visited us. Yvette was easy and great to work with! She can work with Miami “over the top” budgets or more modest budgets like ours. She continues to be available to us now even though our project is technically done. Our amazing home literally would not have been possible without Yvette Mullings and Edgewater Design. We give her our highest recommendation! Call her!

The work included new construction, including a custom ceiling apparatus for a chandelier, a new closet, tiling, lighting, new electrical work, new furniture, mirrors, plants, painting, curtains, pillows, and bedding. It included both indoor and outdoor areas and involved seven contractors over a period of seven months. Yvette took the time to listen to what I wanted and made sure to verify with me, toward the end of the project, that I'd gotten what I wanted and that nothing had been left out. Nice touches: --she cooperated with the condo association on regulations --she improved plans in response to new developments --she gathered all furniture into one delivery to maximize use of the condo loading dock

I had contacted Yvette after seeing her post. I was undertaking the renovation of a 10 year old condo project and being from out of country did not know where to start. Yvette guided me through the creative design process, with her extensive knowledge and patience. Edgewater's rates were reasonable and she even past along wholesale pricing to me saving thousands of dollars on fixtures and furniture. The condo looks incredible and she made a difficult process easy.

Yvette Mullings, the principal officer at Edgewater, proved to be an honest, reliable and competent professional. I needed someone to overseer the furnishing and upgrade of my home. We hired Yvette sight unseen based upon a recommendation. She was absolutely fabulous! She was respectful, knowledgable, and helped us decorate our second home in Florida. She got a sense of our style and was able to emulate it in our new home. We were so impressed with her work, and professionalism, that we hired her for our primary home in Maryland.
