I absolutely love Gillies and his wife Aida’s decorating style… it’s so glamour and unique… their choices in artwork and fabrics are amazing and unique, they are truly gifted people. I bought a few things from them and I love them all. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because I bought 2 of their large “jar memory” artwork, each is approximately 40x56, and the glass that they used on it, and I don’t even think it’s glass, reflects like crazy. You can’t even enjoy the artwork because there’s always some reflection of something whether the light is on or off and no matter which wall you hang them on. Now I’m going to have replace the glass which I’m sure won’t be cheap. They were lovely but the pricing is not for those that are faint of heart. You’ll get an amazing end result but it will cost you.

My husband and I have had a nightmare of a time working with Gilles Clement. He is all about selling, selling, selling- and then did not care about the quality of the follow through. He took a $7,000 deposit from us for a chandelier and held it for OVER 2 YEARS- the manufacturer TOLD us he had not arranged to pay and pick it up. He was $5,000 over on our kitchen painting- then gave us a store credit- for his new store- as an apology. The store took over 2 years to open, has no price tags on anything, and he refuses to meet us there so we can collect on the credit. My wallpaper is lumpy, my "cat proof" carpet is a disaster. We would warn anyone who asked, about our experience with Gilles Clement.

We have been working with Giles Clement on several projects in our home over the last few years and have had the most outstanding experience. His knowledge, experience, ability to work to any budget and sublime taste have resulted in each project being a huge success. Mr Clement has helped us create a home which is not only chic, but also warm and welcoming - a living environment where a family can feel comfortable and a place where we all want to be at the end of the day. Mr Clement is not only a charming man, he is wonderful to work with, unfailing patient, and 100% reliable.

I have worked with Gilles Clement and House of Clement on two of our homes. The results were simply stunning. Mr. Clement is not your ordinary designer. The recommendations are at times counter-intuitive but the results are extraordinary. He is a "man of the world" and has access to so many trends and products which put his designs clearly ahead of the pack. His retail store is a destination in and of itself. The displays are breath-taking.
