I specialize in creating beautiful and functional living spaces that evoke joy and inspire their owners to spend more time in their homes with each other, as well as with friends and family, hosting all who enter with pride and love. My goal is for my clients to be proud of their homes, feeling comfortable and free of stress in the spaces that I design for them so that their favorite getaway is actually their own home.
Life is crazy busy and not everyone has the time to focus solely on designing a space in their home with all of the other responsibilities and obligations that our busy lives include. Clients come to me for design assistance because they want client-specific, personal designs that include quality furnishings, beautiful fabric and unique art and they want me to help them bring a space to life for them. I firmly believe that details make the difference in making a space a home rather than just a house. Details inspire incredible, aesthetically pleasing functionality and I enjoy taking a vision of who the homeowner is and designing their home into a reality. I love leaving a project knowing that the space has been enhanced and elevated to improve how my client spends their time in their home.

I recently used Inside the Design for our new Barbershop. Summer was so easy to work with, from asking good questions to determine our style she focused on our vision. She was exceptional at providing color and finishing options for both the interior and exterior- her choices were flawless. In addition, Summer was patient with questions and very flexible with ideas. I used Inside the Design's eDesign program, and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an updated/fresh look for their home. Summer worked with me to redo my entire first level consisting of a living room, kitchen, dining room, and even a hallway. She listened to my wants, my visions (even though they are poor, which is why I need her help) and when I got my eDesign, I was blown away by the care she took to use what was important to me and incorporate those back into my design. And my house! I can't wait to get it all put together with the items she has handpicked for my house. I never could have done this on my own - I'm so glad she came to the rescue for my house!
