We worked with Jeff on restoring a elegant historic home in downtown Indianapolis. The clients had used him for an extensive structural refresh. However, they found some rot in the 140 year old siding and framing. Jeff brought us in to properly remediate the issues at hand and restore the home to its' original design and aesthetics. He was always punctual, thorough, eloquent, and used the newest technology to provide the highest level of service to his clients. He managed every portion of the project, so the homeowners never had a single worry.

I consulted Jeff Sheats in the summer for help choosing new paint colors for my entire condo. It was important to me not to change everything else about the existing finishes, but to find colors that complimented the existing colors and finishes. Jeff was able to find a color selection that I loved in relatively short time (1-1 1/2 hours) and I continue to love them now that the project is complete. I have picked out my own paint colors in the past and ALWAYS regretted it. Jeff advised me on several aspects of the project I would not have known to think about, recommended a painter that I ended up using after getting several estimates and followed up with me during the project to advise and guide me in managing the project myself. Jeff is flexible and willing to do as much or as little as you ask, full service or suggestions that you implement on your own. I appreciate this flexibility a great deal. Jeff Sheats Designs worked closely with me during the construction of my new custom home. Jeff and his team were invaluable throughout the process. They created detailed construction drawings for lighting and electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, and millwork including a stunning coffered great room ceiling. Furthermore, the team shepherded me through the appalling number of choices to be made whether it was upholstery, window treatments, flooring, bathroom tile, countertops, fixtures, or doorknobs. They actually found lighting (wall sconces, overhead fixtures, and table lamps) that I actually love, not just tolerate. Jeff was also able to deal with my family "stuff"; I come from generations who happily acquired (and kept) furniture, art, oriental rugs, and multitude of accessories. Needless to say, most of these items needed attention - cleaning, reupholstering, refurbishing, or repairing. Each was sent off to the appropriate craftsman. The team was able to combine my old pieces with new furnishings that complement the old and fit in beautifully. Even the move itself went smoothly, largely due to the capable movers and packers recommended by Jeff, and the fact that all the rooms were meticulously planned prior to the move. Sheats even handled having the art hung and items placed in the display cabinets. Having a design group that "knows people" made everything simpler. And for me, having a designer comfortable with color (and lots of it) has made my new home very warm and welcoming.

I dont know where to begin. The second Andrea answered the phone I knew this was the place for me. The team is freaking amazing, Jeff is a stellar designer and most important, he is a genuine human. Jeff Sheats was referred to me by a previous client whom praised his design work and eye for detail. The entire process from end to end was completed with flawless execution. I bought a sizeable home in a historic district downtown Indy that was in need of a deep remodel and personalization. Jeff had been my licensed interior designer for many years at our previous home. He was given a limited amount of time to completely overhaul my new structure inside and out including: full architectural design issues of kitchen and master bath face lifts, three new baths, new laundry, lighting plans, garage tech, a whole house generator, decks, landscape and the like. He translated furnishings from my existing house to this new home, added many new items I had researched plus new pieces he suggested. A fantastic whole house automation system including security, entertainment, HVAC, window shade and lighting control was also designed; giving me great control of my home no matter where I might be. Jeff handled all aspects of the project: full design, purchasing, materials and contractor management, final clean up and move in. The end result is wildly beyond my expectations and allows me to truly relax and deeply enjoy my home. It’s simple to walk out the door into my private gardens and then out into a vibrant downtown setting. The spaces are a true reflection of my history and the lifestyle I asked Jeff to create. Jeff Sheats did a simply outstanding job on several projects for our home. He is an exemplary professional and worked tirelessly to ensure that the projects were completed on time and within our budget. He absolutely nailed our personal style and created a beautiful, harmonious look for our great room that reflects our taste. I hired Jeff for a whole house color project and updates to all the rooms in my house. First of all, the colors Jeff helped me choose for my rooms flow seamlessly from room to room. Jeff was there every step of the way, as well as monitoring and inspecting the labor to make sure the house was flawless. Jeff also repurposed many items in the house to give my house a more polished look. We redecorated with items that I already owned and it made such a difference in where the eye is drawn. Jeff Sheats spoke with me in depth and got to know my likes and dislikes as well as my lifestyle and interests when deciding to redecorate the master bedroom. Once again, using furniture I already owned but adding bedding and color via window treatments. I would recommend Jeff.
