I hired Kathleen Goodwin Interiors again to design a new Playroom for my teens. Her approach was to listen to our desires and guide us appropriately. She suggested that we use some indoor/outdoor items for peace of mind, knowing how spills can and will happen in a Playroom. We are so happy we did. Kathleen included in her design, enough millwork to store and hide games away when we need to use the room for guests. It is a bright and cheery space we can all use.

Kathleen was so helpful in designing our home. She paid attention to all the little details and understood our vision. She worked well with everyone involved in the project and helped make sure we had the essentials done by move-in date. Kathleen finds unique and fun items and flexed for the goals and budgets in each room.

In February of 2020 I purchased home in Mount Kisco while still living in Southwest Florida. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic became a reality, I was able to fly to New York to interview three Interior Designers that I found on Houzz. I instantly connected with Kathleen and hired her on the spot. My first impressions were that she was calm, experienced, responsible and forthright. It turns out that I was absolutely correct. Kathleen is all that and so much more. Due to the pandemic and the country-wide lock down, my work with Kathleen became entirely VIRTUAL. We talked on the phone for hours, used FaceTime until we ran out of battery life on our phones and mailed paint, stain and wood samples back and forth between New York and Florida. Kathleen and her team of contractors completely remodeled three full baths, the kitchen, the living room and left not one square inch of floor, wall, light switch or electrical outlet untouched. Kathleen and the contractors treated this house like it was being refinished for their own family. They worked hard and constantly demonstrated respect, care and pride of craftsmanship. We ran into huge problems and obstacles getting supplies during a pandemic. Kathleen handled every single hurdle with grace under pressure. She crafted multiple solution options to every problem BEFORE she brought a problem to my attention. I am thrilled beyond words that I hired Kathleen. This year may be a "2020," but my house is five stars thanks to Kathleen!

We have had the pleasure of working with Kathleen on several projects including our master bathroom and living room, but more recently a big kitchen renovation. Kathleen has such great vision and provided creative solutions that transformed the flow and feel of our 100-year old house that was in desprate need of updating. She thoughtfully integrated key aspects of everyday country living in a very beautiful, functional and tasteful way, and importantly made sure the designs concepts suited our family's lifestyle. Kathleen took care of everything down to the smallest of details, responded quickly to challenges and made sure our projects ran smoothly. We couldn't be happier and the results exceeded our expectations. Kathleen is a joy to work with!

We have hired Kathleen Goodwin Interiors for a number of our design projects and have loved every aspect of working with her. First, Kathleen Goodwin is an amazing designer in every way. The talents she brings to our projects never cease to amaze us. Not only are her designs beautiful, but they are also livable. She creates spaces that work for you and your family that elevate your home experience in ways you never could imagine would be possible. But finding "talented" designer is the easy part--finding a talented designer who also cares deeply about creating spaces that work *for you* is much harder. Kathleen Goodwin is that rare designer who excels at both--beautiful design, sophisticated yet livable, and a skill for listening to her clients' needs and lifestyle. As just one example, Kathleen created a gorgeous kitchen for my small tudor-style house that really incorporated the style and feel of the old 1930's home while at the same time bringing an updated open concept. As an added bonus, Kathleen is one of the most delightful and kind people I have worked with. I would definitely hire her again--for any project, no matter how big or small.
