Katie is an amazingly talented designer with an impeccable sense of style. Her clean design is classic, yet ahead of the latest trend in the industry. She treats every project, big or small with great attention to detail and gives it a polished look. Katie and her assistant, Blair are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. They take the time to get to know clients and their lifestyle. Katie focuses on making her design not only beautiful, but also practical. Our family has worked with Katie over the past two years and room by room she has transformed our house into a home. I absolutely love the warmth of each room she has designed. Katie enjoys incorporating sentimental pieces, so every room has a special touch. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Katie Emmons Design!
Katie Emmons is an immensely talented and highly credentialed designer. After showing her pictures of rooms that appealed to me, describing the way we live and talking through the personal items that meant something to us, she made our vision her vision, not the other way around. Katie has impeccable taste. Watching her evaluate which ivory paint color would make the final cut for our living room was riveting - seriously, isn't ivory, ivory? Not in "Katie-world" and I loved her for that. Decisions weren't rushed and there were times we waited for a sunny day to make a selection - and she was right - sometimes you need sunlight to make the perfect choice. Katie communicated just the right amount during the project, was forthcoming about the few delays we encountered, and was masterful in managing my husband who occasionally needed to be managed.
