I worked with Lynda over zoom, telephone, and emails from another state. She has finely tuned this process. Samples were sent via mail. She tutored me along the way, carefully holding my virtual hand as she first helped my husband and I determine what we "really' wanted in our new home. Every choice was carefully curated by Lynda; flooring, cabinetry, fireplace stone and millwork, paint colors, area rugs, furniture, and finishing touches. We love our new space! I did a total refresh of my downstairs: living room, dining room, office, family room. I absolutely love how it turned out. I can't express enough what a great experience it was. There were a few pieces we wanted to keep and Lynda was so ready and willing to accommodate our wishes. Trust her. She knows what she is doing!! The third party companies she works with (electrician, painter, floor installer) were also fantastic and a pleasure to work with. Multiple times throughout the process she would say 'you're the boss.' She realizes it is your home and should feel like you- she takes the time to get to know you- and what she brings to the table reflects that. I will be calling on Lynda again to help me with other projects!

Lynda is a gem. My husband and I started the remodeling planning process in fall 2019 with the goal of a laundry room remodel in 2020, which turned into a complete basement remodel in late 2020…which finally began in January 2021. Lynda went the extra mile and stuck with us through thick and thin. She took on a couple of smaller interim projects - master bedroom and light touch up in living room - to give us some places with peace and tranquility while we waited for our main remodel. She understood our style and that we wanted something different than the typical beige and gray palette. Her designs and combinations pop and speak my language of functional and fun. Lynda was such a pleasure to work with in decorating the majority of our home. We initially had a different designer help us and weren’t satisfied with the outcome. Lynda was able to come in and learn our preferences and style and make each room beautiful beyond our expectations. She has a true gift and is so receptive to feedback and offers excellent ideas we wouldn’t have considered. We love our home and it finally feels like us! I would hire her again without reservation!

Working with Lynda has been an absolute joy from start to finish. I interviewed multiple designers and felt the most comfortable working with Lynda. She really got to know my husband and me, helped us define what our style is, and how we wanted our home to function. She asks insightful questions to truly get to know you and the end result of her design absolutely felt like us and made our house feel like a home. Lynda has so much experience, a wonderful eye for design and color, and is an expert at learning more about her clients to deliver a design that reflects their personality and wishes, she is organized, responsive, and detail oriented. She also has great contacts for customized pieces such as pillows, draperies, and built-ins (these are just the ones we used, I’m sure she has more). We would not hesitate to use her services again for future design projects.

My husband and I are very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Lynda on the first floor renovation of our home. The reno and design experience was new to us and thankfully, we were introduced to Lynda by our contractor. She was fantastic to work with, very responsive, warm and professional from beginning to end. She began by identifying what was meaningful and inspiring to both of us, learning how we used our home and our hopes for the design. Lynda is an excellent interior designer, I don't know what we would have done without her. Early in 2020, we had to restore and remodel our first floor after water damage. My wife and I had a reasonable idea of what we wanted with our remodel, but were struggling with how to tie every room together so that it made sense as a whole. We attempted to start the process ourselves but we then reached out to Lynda. She was able to quickly understand the style we wanted, and also encouraged us to consider things that we normally wouldn't. She also stopped us from making a few fairly large mistakes (that we didn't realize it at the time). She picked out options for furniture and accessories and helped us along with her professional opinion as we made our final desions. The furniture she chose is of high quality, and Lynda is also budget conscious so we always felt we were getting very good value for our money. The end result is way better than I could have imagined. She truly captured our style and brought out our family's personality in each room. Lynda is awesome to work with, always energetic and positive. We are absolutely loving our new home and I'm still amazed at the transformation that Lynda gave it. We've been done with the project for several months now, and we still just love the feeling we get from being in the space. We will definitely be using her for future projects.

Recently I had the opportunity to meet and work with Lynda Cherry. She was down from Washington State to work with a long time family friend on their parade of homes project in Farmington Utah. When we first met Lynda to discuss our remodel, we knew right away, she was the right person for the job. She was so easy to talk to and was genuinely interested in us, our home, our interests, what we were passionate about and how she could make a real difference. When Lynda came to my condo the first time for a consultation, she knew exactly what was needed to really brighten up my muddy and drab looking living room. She saw my red shoes and that became the inspiration. I love how she transformed my space nto what I call my "Celestial Room". It's hard to believe that It's mine and I actually live here. Lynda Cherry designed and decorated my living room, planning center, kitchen, dining room and master bedroom. She did a beautiful job. Everything was to my taste and liking. She did a "reveal" for me each time. It was so fun to let her do her work while I was away and then come home to the magic! She has made my home a piece of heaven on earth.

When we moved into our new home we needed an interior designer to help us figure out how to decorate our large living room/dining room space. My style is a little different--more Anthropologie than Pottery Barn, and I wanted the space to reflect that. Lynda Cherry was recommended to me by friends who had worked with her and loved her work. Lynda was very professional--she was timely in her text and email responses, she explained her services and costs upfront so there were never any surprises, and she was a pleasure to have in my home. She knew what my budget was, and she was able to help me furnish and decorate my rooms within that budget. I love the final product! The main living space of my house is now beautiful, unique, and I love to walk into every morning!

She then helped us select colors and accessories for our new home which we are confident will turn out very nicely. Linda is such a personable person. We hired her to help us transform our whole house starting in the bathrooms. 2 bathroom full remodels with help picking tile, colores, granite, mirrors and more, next on to the bedrooms where Linda helped us organize carpet, paint, beds, and upcoming is the kitchen counters and the fireplace. We love working with Linda with her professional approach, ease in redirecting to the way things should look while being gracious and understanding to personal taste.

Most recently Lynda helped us with a bathroom remodel. She was great about finding a contractor who could do an excellent job for a price we were willing to pay. She encouraged me to get several bids (I got 5) and she went over each bid with me and clarified things with the contractor. She helped me pick out fixtures. She checked in on the job regularly going the second mile and coming by to check things when I was out of town. The contractor I used did a great job and Lynda later told me that another client she was working with had received 3 bids on a bathroom comparable to mine and they were all $25-30,000 more than we paid. I think Lynda introduced her client to my contractor after that. I've always been pleased with Lynda's professional way of doing things and her creative touch. She helped us with a kitchen update in 2014.

Lynda does a fantastic job of designing the interior _you_ want. If you don’t know exactly what you want, she will help you figure that out as well and will make it all come together perfectly and look magnificent. We have complete confidence in Lynda and have used her for the last 3 of our homes. The most recent was the new construction of an 11,000+ sq ft brick Virginia Estate. She is so good, we hired her to work from Seattle and she traveled to the building site in Virginia throughout the entire process. We used Lynda for _all_ aspects of the interior design, from paint color selection to materials for stone and tile work, designing the pattern and layout of stone work throughout the house, picking lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, furniture fabric and style, window covering styles and fabrics, even the paintings on the wall. Lynda is extremely easy to work with and she is especially good at working well with the entire family. She was very engaged with our children, helping them pick things they liked that look great and go with the style of our home. She has an amazing eye for color. She quickly learns what colors you like and then is able to quickly select a few patterns and colors for you to choose from out of the literally thousands of choices. She works with many different companies so has a broad selection to choose from. Lynda is very conscientious and detail oriented. She works hard to not only provide you with a beautiful home, she does it in a very cost conscious way – advising you when something is worth the extra cost because of the quality and longevity and also recommending things that are more budget friendly when the extra cost doesn't make sense. The highest recommendation I can give is that once we found Lynda we have hired her to do our home again and again. We've worked with other designers in the past but Lynda is head and shoulders above anyone else we have ever worked with.

If anyone can read your mind, it's Lynda Cherry. Somehow she is able to intuit exactly who my husband and I are. We both loved gardens and we both loved books (not the same books) but she created the library in the garden (I never would have even considered it), but when it was all put together, I absolutely loved it and it felt like home. She is has an unerring sense of color. I looked at the material for the curtains and pillows and it just overwhelmed me. I didn't have a clue of how things could go together to make it look harmonious and beautiful, but she did! She was able to find the right pieces of furniture from the right stores at just the right prices I was looking for. It all came together. Whenever I have gone out on my own--so to speak--and picked a paint or a lamp, invariably I have been hugely disappointed. But I have never erred nor been disappointed when I just followed Lynda's advice. She actually saves me money. She is worth her weight in gold. I have used Lynda many times and most recently she is helping me with my master bedroom/bathroom suite but that project isn't done yet, I could write a review for each time she has helped me, but my first job was my whole house décor and now I am redoing that so I went right back to Lynda. She truly is gifted. She isn't my designer, she is my friend.
