About Us

MAKS Design Studio tailors spaces to reflect each unique personality with a client focused approach. We are a full service design firm with projects ranging from styling to remodeling and project management. Owner and Lead Designer Angela Murphy has BFA in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design and more than 12 years experience as an Interior Designer in the Chicagoland area. Her priority is understanding and interpreting her clients needs into beautiful, unique spaces and taking the stress out of the remodeling process.

Angela made our long-distance bathroom remodel & full condo repainting so easy. I sent her a few ideas and colors that I liked and she captured it perfectly. She worked seamlessly with our contractor and was able to be on site when we weren't.

If you are in need of design or remodeling services Angie is the way to go! She is AWESOME!! I was looking to have a bedroom designed and she did an excellent job - I loved all of her ideas. She's also easy to work with - she was always available and responsive. I was working against a tight budget and her pricing is very reasonable.

Was very impressed with the ideas she brought to our bathroom project. We ended up moving and not doing the update but will be in touch when we are settled in the new house.

Commented: The mirror is perfect! Is it a medicine cabinet. ?Recessed ?DimensionsThere is a medicine cabinet directly over the vanity and then we did a custom mirror piece that ran the rest of the length of the wall to appear as one large piece.
