My husband and I hired Nancy to help us manage through a sizable full home renovation. This project would never have gotten off the ground without her vision - she immediately understood what aesthetic we were trying to achieve and worked with our contractor and architect to modify our existing plans to accomplish a better flow for the entire home. She brought incredibly creative ideas to the table at every step of the project and managed every last detail of the design process from appliance and fixture selections to throw pillows and upholstery. I trusted her completely with this project and I could not be happier with the final results. As if that weren’t enough, she is an absolute joy to work with and a true professional who cares deeply for her clients and that they get the outcome they are striving for. I highly recommend her for any project - large or small. I can’t wait to get the opportunity to hire her again as new projects pop up - she’s is worth her weight in gold!

Nancy was an absolute asset to our renovation! Her ideas were amazing and she had such a vision from the beginning and was so great at helping us see that vision. We worked with Nancy when we were looking for help updating a large great room, with cathedral ceiling. She worked with us to create the design, helped source and buy certain pieces, educated and guided with the paint selections, and more. She gave us great advice and insight to what does and doesn’t work. All along, Nancy kept in touch with us and holding us accountable. Nancy is excellent to work with.

I can’t say enough about my experience with Nancy! She took my condo living room, kitchen and bathroom from dark and seriously dated, to a light, bright, inviting space that reflects my taste to a tee! Nancy is much like a contractor, as well as a gifted designer. She took care of every aspect of the job and got all the best professionals including electricians, painters, builders, plumbers etc. It was no easy feat but I was consistently confident in Nancy’s ability to coordinate all aspects of the job. I felt listened to and kept in the loop at all times. She was fantastic!

Nancy Boughton of Nancy Boughton Interiors was my interior designer on the renovation of my 4 bed, 5 bath Oyster Pond home in Chatham MA. The job included, new windows to reorient the family room layout, new kitchen island, new backsplash and a new bar area. Redone floors, new coffered ceilings, new lighting and furnishing. Repurposing existing furniture including the former kitchen island and Blue Bahia granite with a bespoke entry cabinet. She also designed the two master bedrooms and the additional two bedrooms with on suite bathroom. This included custom closet systems and new carpet, new rugs, new bedding, new window treatments and art. She choose new paint colors throughout the house with a goal of lightening and freshening the spaces to seamlessly marry the inside with spectacular views of the water. She worked collaboratively with the contractor Whitla Brothers. Nancy was creative with her ideas, respectful of our time and money and had a can do attitude. She has a solid knowledge of products and process and the outcome is a functional and tailored yet beautiful beach home that is my “Happy Place”. All the work was completed as promised in time for the summer season and an annual party. I am excited to be working with her again on my Wellesley home.

Building a new house requires the ability to keep many balls in the air; Nancy did that for us with ease. She is enthusiastic, energetic, all with a discerning eye for detail. Nancy listened to our ideas and desires, worked seamlessly with our contractor, and was respectful of our budget. We are so happy to have found her! She worked her magic and turned our house into a home we love!
