I have been a customer of Paul's for over 15 years on various home design projects, and he is always such a pleasure to work with. I always look forward to meeting with him. He understands my likes and dislikes and is able to tailor his designs to my taste. His designs always exceed my expectations, and, once the design is finalized, he is excellent in coordinating with other professionals to make it come together, overseeing each phase of the project. I can't wait to work with him again!

Paul recently designed a guest suite for us which shows that he clearly understood what we were looking for. We had fun working with him as we picked furniture, fabric, and art from his suggestions. He provided great customer service by arranging the furniture and even hanging the beautiful art work. We love the guest suite, which went well beyond our expectations. Our future guests will really enjoy their visits. I stand in the guest suite everyday and admire his work.

Every day we enjoy the warm, welcoming designs Paul Hancock created for us in our living room, den, master bedroom and kitchen. We love these rooms and get compliments from all our visitors too. We recently met with Paul and asked him to design a guest suite that we can also use for watching TV, reading and relaxing. Paul is very easy to work with and always knows what we will like. Based on our past 15 years working with Paul, on two homes, we know we will love our guest suite.

My husband and I were building a new house after living in our current home for 20 years. We discovered the houzz.com site and I started to look for decorating help. At first my hubby was hesitant to use a decorator as he was concerned that we would end up with a "show home" that didn't reflect our lifestyle and family.....and be waaaaay over budget. Thank heavens for Paul Hancock!!! Paul came out to our new site prior to drywall and walked the floor plan with us. He frequently reminded us that "this is your home and I want to help you make it something you love." We then scheduled a visit with Paul at our old home so he could take pictures and measure furniture we were bringing with us to the new home. It also gave him an idea of colors we liked and how we used our current space. We met Paul at his office at the Kittles Design Studio for a follow up and he provided us with scaled drawings of our new rooms with locations of our current furniture and pieces he recommended we acquire. Mindful of our budget, Paul had preselected fabrics and colors for upholstery and the hunt was on! We looked at couches, ottomans, chairs, bedroom suites...Paul had recommendations for everything we were interested in. He was also very helpful in suggestions regarding lighting and rugs, sharing with us other stores with better selections and prices. After we made our furniture selections, he then made an appointment for us at Capel Rugs and met us there as well .... again pre-selecting some options for us. Everything Paul pre-selected for us helped streamline the decision making process. He listened to our desires and quickly modified his suggestions when we changed our minds...seeing something in person is different than just seeing it on a computer screen.:) He always had our main goal in mind to have a home that was welcoming and comfortable. On the day our furniture was to be delivered, Paul went to Capel Rugs, loaded our rugs and delivered them himself. He stayed with us and made sure the rugs were placed exactly right and then helped make sure the furniture delivery went smoothly as well. We are not finished with our decorating process yet, and will continue to rely on Paul's guidance as we move forward. I would encourage anyone looking for a decorator/interior designer to contact Paul Hancock....he is extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional. The highest praise I can offer is when my husband says, "Ask Paul. Whatever he says, I'm good with that." Now THAT is a glowing endorsement!!!

It's a s simple as this: I contacted Paul when I was probably half way through a major renovation; for the next renovation, Paul will be one of the first calls I make.

We have worked with Paul Hancock for over a decade, first on our primary home and then on our "getaway" condo in Chicago. Not only have the results been outstanding, but we have thoroughly enjoyed the process. Our primary home design was traditional and our condo was more contemporary/industrial. On two very different projects, Paul helped us select and create the integrated "whole home" feel we wanted. What is great about Paul is that he truly listens and works with you, honoring your wishes, but giving you the benefit of his excellent taste. Paul made special trips to ensure proper set ups on move in days. He has a can do attitude and we also have enjoyed A LOT of laughs together. If you want great results with a highly capable design partner, Paul is your guy.

We just completed redecorating our living room/kitchen, dining room, and bathroom with Paul (pretty much our whole main floor). I was a little hesitant about choosing a designer at first, but after doing some research, I was fortunate enough to have found Paul Hancock. We really wanted to make our home a pet friendly, stylish, AND comfortable place for us. He was simply amazing when it came to figuring out exactly what we wanted and needed. The end result was above and beyond what we ever thought it could be! Paul worked so hard to bring our personalities into the design for our space. He really got to know us, and was able to interpret what our design style was even though we had no experience with home decorating. He always gave us lots of options and was on target with our budget. Having access to the Kittle's Design Studio was so helpful when it came to choosing furniture and accessories. Paul has such wonderful taste and style when it comes to design, but I always felt like our ideas and input were a priority for him. It was a wonderful partnership, and every subcontractor he brought to us (painting, window treatments etc) was top notch. Paul was so fun and easy to work with, and we are so thrilled with how he transformed our space. He was nice enough to give us suggestions about how to repurpose some furniture to other rooms in our house, and he always answered any design question we had. Fortunately, this is just the beginning of our relationship with Paul. I am really looking forward to working with him for many many years!

We stumbled onto Paul at EA. He helped me find a couch that is actually comfortable and durable and beautiful. He came to our home and spent at least 2 hours on two different occasions helping me pull the rooms together and situating the couch. He has a great eye for design. Paul is the designer you want to work with whether your budget is big or small. Paul says things like...look for a black table at home goods. Or, check clearance at ballard for curtains.... Or, here is what I think you need! My biggest concern was incorporating family antiques into a more modern design and he knew just what to do. A can of paint opened up loads of possibilities! Paul will also shop for you and find for you. I loved his flexibility. I've referred him to many of my clients and friends and they have been thrilled too :)

We have worked with Paul on 4 projects, from simply replacing a few pieces of furniture in a room to orchestrating every detail of decorating and furnishing a new house. Paul takes the time to listen, observe, and find out your taste and what you want to accomplish. He is very knowledgeable about architectural features and use of color. Paul is also very skilled at furniture and accessory placement. He can look at the big picture first, then work his way down to the smallest detail, never overlooking anything. Paul Hancock has decorated several rooms in my house. I am always pleased with the results. My living room and dining room areas were dated. He was able to blend existing furniture with new accessories/paint colors and update the entire area. The space looks so inviting and as a result, I have been entertaining more often. I received many compliments from my guests. The next project was converting a bedroom to an office. The room is attractive and organized. I like Paul's attention to detail and his ability to color match. He has come to my home and made minor adjustments in positioning furniture: his touch made the area look nicer. I would highly recommend Paul for a design project. His always pleasant and provides guidance in making good decorating choices.
