Paul Hanson Design

Paul has been tremendously patient and inspiring along my slow journey to make minor upgrades and remodels in my home. He is the most creative designer I've encountered, with the ability to maximize a space and utilize every opportunity to enhance the space with complementary colors, textures, and lighting solutions.

We hired Paul Hanson to be our designer as we embarked on a complete build-out of a new office space for our company. It was a large project and we had a set budget that we needed to adhere to. We gave Paul a general idea of what our vision was for the space and he was able to run with it and bring it to life in a way that completely exceeded our expectations, while staying completely within our budget. I think what sets him apart is how his creativity and talents contribute to the end result. For example, Paul designed the desk for our reception area and had it custom built for us. It is a perfect first impression for people who visit us and is completely unique to our company. If I was starting over with the office design project I do not think I would change a thing. Our employees are very happy in their new space, it is functional, beautiful and unique. I would hire Paul again in a minute for any future design needs for our company or for my home. I would not hesitate at all to recommend him to anyone.

Working with Paul Hanson was a pleasure. He was able to help us bring our main floor from the 90's era decor to current. He incorporated both my husband's interests and mine to give the room a personal reflection of both of us. He was very creative and flexible to work with, using all electronic media to digitally show us room colors and arrangements, as well texts with photos of furniture and decorative pieces as he would see them. He met us to shop for furniture, which was a breeze. He had already narrowed down the choices for us. Paul is also very good at creating art pieces and light fixtures. I am looking forward to working with him on our next room makeover!

Paul was fantastic to work with during our bar redesign. We completely remodeled our downtown bar in Omaha and relied heavily on Paul's interior design expertise to get us there in 6 days! From modern, industrial lighting to repurposing antique chairs...he brought it all. Paul had ideas during the project that not only made sense to the space itself but made financial sense to us; suggesting furnishings that were fit for commercial use but still quirky and aesthetically pleasing. He had us (the business owners) and our customers in mind during every step. Paul is a talented new designer. He's fresh. He's unconventional. He knows what the project needs way before you do. He gave us positive energy throughout a very intense 6 day project and managed to adapt to and overcome the inevitable "bumps" of project management along the way. We cannot recommend Paul and his design services enough!

I couldn’t have asked for a better interior designer for my new home. Starting with a completely blank slate, Paul created a number of unique spaces within my open plan loft apartment. From the initial discussion to project completion, he listened to every requirement and on several occassions, picked up on my slight concerns and provided solutions that I hadn’t thought of. He always exceeded my expectations. To create a blend of old and new, he repurposed old items and turned them into beautiful, unique furniture and accessories which became key pieces in the space . This hands on approach paired with adventurous use of color and texture have turned a generic apartment into my home. I would highly recommend Paul for your next design project!
