High end contemporary European style design. RM Interiors was born from a love for pure design. Using her discerning eye, mixing textures and focusing on the beauty of simple form, Renan wants people to not only love their space visually, but love to live in it. This passion for her craft led her to work with some of Europe’s most affluent individuals; designing traditional and contemporary spaces. She has a keen interest in how people live, and believes that emphasis at the planning phase of her projects is vital to translate her client’s ideas into a “way of life”. As an Allied member of American Society Of Interior Designers (ASID), she has over 20 years experience working with individuals from around the globe. Meeting client’s needs from America, England, Ireland, Russia, Egypt and Saudi Arabia has developed her flair and persona. Starting her career at a small hospitality firm in Atlanta she then moved to Europe. While residing in London she worked for TFL International, a large hospitality firm. She then moved to the design studio at Harrod’s, the world’s largest department store, where she worked on high end residential design and architectural projects. After returning to the United States, Renan moved to Cincinnati and to continued her work specializing in high end contemporary European design. Renan graduated Suma Cum Laude with a BFA in Interior Design from Georgia State University. She is an Allied Member of ASID and a Registered Interior Designer.

Renan and her team are amazing! I could not have done it without her. Everything she touched is beautiful. She handled the sub contractors and the "sourcing" which are incredibly difficult and time consuming. She was able to collaborate with me, understand my vision and execute the plan more than any other vendor I worked with. She was professional and came thru with her promises. We are so incredibly happy with our beautiful, more contemporary transitional kitchen, 1st floor bath, and dining room. We desperately needed to update our kitchen and Renan helped tie the entire 1st floor design together. She had an vision for opening up the floor plan, while also making use of a lot of local, Cincinnati vendors and suppliers. Soon after we embarked on our new home building project we contacted Renan Meninger, at the recommendation of our lighting consultant, Drew Dearwester. While we had a vision and theme in mind, we needed a designer who could help us bring this to life, to create a unique space which reflected our new eye for contemporary design. Our objective was to create a home with a clean, minimalist feel that was also dramatic, and reflected the energy, beauty and history of our downtown and river view along with the Mt Adams incline that was once the foundation of our plot on Baum Street. Renan quickly understood our vision, urban lifestyle and took it further using unique materials and coordinating color, texture and lines to enhance the interior of our new home. Renan was great fun to work with, kept us constantly informed and coordinated all of the logistics involved with ordering tile, fixtures and furniture from Italy and Spain. RM Interiors provided professional advice and guidance for remodeling a 1950's cape cod home turned modern home nicknamed "ModCod." In particular, RM Interiors kept the project on course, assisted and/or directed the homeowner's decisions on colors, tile selections, hardware for cabinets and sinks, plus toilets and wallpaper. RM Interiors also worked closely with the homeowner's to stay within budget by suggesting competent suppliers and professional installers. I was on the fence between modern contemporary and traditional. Everything I tried just didn't hit the mark and I grew frustrated at the fact that I needed help. Upon contacting RM Interiors, I was greeted in a most professional manner that set me at ease immediately. My partner and I bought a cape style home in Upstate NY. The home was quite dated on the inside, but we couldn't resist the location and the serenity that the area provides. I searched drastically for an interior designer in the area, but could not seem to bond with any of them. That is, until I found RM. I was overwhelmed in the beginning because I had an idea of what I wanted, but did not know how to pull it all together. Not only did RM "pull it together" for me, she also made the whole process very comfortable. She came in with guns loaded and completed the job in a timely matter. I was very impressed with her professionalism and dedication. I know she had other projects in the city (and I'm sure they were more high paying projects than mine) but she treated my partner and I like we were just as or more important than her wealthier clients in the city. I always dreamed of having a mid-century space in my home and my dream has come true! Thank you RM. Someday when I finally get my dream "glass" house, I will DEFINATELY use her again!!

We hired RM Interiors to help us with several renovations to our home including the living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. Not only did we recieve exceptional ideas, we were part of the entire process. A great deal of time was spent understanding our tastes and every day lives to ensure the right choices were being made. We were also given in depth explanations regarding all the design choices given as to understand the ideas being presented. Our home was built in the 1920's but our tastes lean more toward a mid-century modern feel. RM Interiors was able to deliver exactly that aesthetic while keeping to the integrity of our home. I initially hired Renan to consult on paint colors for every room of a new house which she did with excellence. I have 3 floors with many color transitions and I love the combinations she selected and how they matched with my Renan-edited art. From there, she helped us realize our vision of an entirely white bedroom from personally designing and having our bed made to finding a perfect light (along with Drew Dearwester from Switch) to enable the room to transform in different colors to finding a bergere chair to be completely redone in white with white textured fabric. I love everything she did but beyond that, she is a dream to work with. Very professional AND very fun and friendly. She would ask questions and build upon my initial vision to take every element to the next level. I highly recommend Renan...especially (but not exclusively) if you are looking for someone with a particularly sharp modern eye.
