Working with Sense of Style was a real pleasure from every interaction to seeing my most used and livable spaces transform into show-home like and artistic areas. Every step of the way they were there leading but also adjusting to our tastes and budgets. I would not hesitate to use Sense of Style again and refer them to family and closest friends.

When my husband and I decided to renovate our house we met with a few designers. Ani came to us highly recommended by our neighbour. After our first initial meeting with Ani we decided that sense e of style was the company for our project. We find Ani to be very knowledge and experience with her work. We talked about a few designs and after consulting with Ani we decided to renovate our entire first floor. Ani was very professional and she was very calming as renovations can be very stressful. Her construction team was very pleasant and easy to talk to. They worked really hard and did not compromise on quality. The house turned out beautiful! My husband and I are very satisfied with all the work that has been done; and we are thinking of renovating the rest of the house and we will not hesitate to use Sense of Style for our future projects.

I used Ani's services to renovate my family room, plus some updates to my entrance hall. The transformation was absolutely amazing. Ani has an incredible eye and taste. After just a couple of meetings she had a good feel for my sense of style/taste and the things that she showed me fit within my parameters. She recommended a custom side table to me that I was not able to visualize. I was somewhat nervous about going with what she recommended (which was not what I would have picked), but when the table arrived I absolutely loved it. I had a huge kitchen, hallway, powder room and laundry room reno this past February- April. Based on my past great experiences with Ani and her contractor, I sought her out again and was not disappointed. The results were spectacular. I told Ani that I wanted an elegant but comfortable look and boy did she deliver. As in last time I worked with Ani, she really respected my vision but was absolutely crucial with decor suggestion, colours, materials, design ideas etc. As well, I had a broken wrist and could not drive so Ani had to get me all sorts of places. Her contractor Pat, who we used last reno was great. When he said something would be done by a date, it was done by that date and on budget. He was respectful of our home and time line and budget. The company she uses for cabinets was fabulous. Dean and his workers did an amazing job. Ani, Dean and my husband and I consulted with any changes that we wanted or that Dean suggested. Ani was able to take me all sorts of places to choose items, colours etc. that I never would have found on my own and as a result my main floor is beautiful. As well, Ani is a very nice person, not pushy or attempting to make you do anything that is out of your comfort zone which is a very comforting idea when you are spending vast amounts of money and need to live with the results forever or at least a very long time. I would highly recommend using Ani in any renovation. Her versatility and talent are superb and she is darn nice!

It all started the first of the year after we had a flooded basement and needed to renovate it. We were referred to Ani of Sense of Style to help us select and source flooring, cabinets, plumbing fixtures and paint colors and to recommend a contractor. We originally hired Ani (Sense of Style) to stage our home in Aurora when we were preparing to sell it. She was extremely professional and did a consultation with us. From there she helped us re-arrange our existing furniture and art, and then had additional pieces brought in to complete the stage. We ended up selling our home for $10k over asking. We were so impressed with Ani’s “sense of style”, that we hired her again to help us with our new place. We bought a waterfront condo, and ask Ani to help us transform it into our dream home. We had a large list of changes, and Ani was able to help us get each completed through her various contacts, contractors and her own personal touches. Each of the contractors was very professional and did great work. Overall we had the bulk of the renovations done over a period of 3 weeks, with final accessories happening shortly thereafter. Ani helped us pick out all of the styles and colours to tie everything together. This included paints, wallpapers, cabinetry treatment, fabrics and other accessories. We have 2 dogs, and Ani even helped tie in the their crates via fabrics and accessories. • Boy’s room (toddler): Car theme, including an F1 race car light fixture, wallpaper, car decals, unique shelves that are replicas of the front end of a Dodge Charger and Mustang, other car accessories and even a custom car-themed lamp made by Ani herself • Den: converted into a playroom, with zoo animal decals on the walls, gym style playmats and pillows, a unique cabinet was also installed to allow for storage of toys and extra blankets/pillows • Living and dining space: entertainment unit, wall mounted TV with no wires exposed, unique rug, awesome glass round table with fantastic white leather chairs, variety of accessories • Window treatments (50% of the walls are windows) including shades throughout the entire condo + drapes in the bedrooms • Balcony flooring, lighting and patio furniture. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the quality of work done on our place by Ani. She was extremely professional and went out of her way to make sure we got the best for our budget. We couldn’t have done any of this without her, and our place is amazing now! We would highly recommend Ani’s services to anyone looking to stage or do renovations.

I hired Ani (Sense of Style) when I recently had my basement completely renovated, including a kitchenette, gas fireplace insert, and furniture refinishing. Ani was fabulous with ideas, colours and finishing touches that added a real elegance to the rooms. She was very easy to work with and respected that I had specific colours and ideas, and had to work within a budget. Ani saved me hours of work by coordinating everything that was being done, and helped me make good decisions. Ani visited our home and provided the complete services to "stage" it before putting it on the market. She arranged for a team of painters to remove "patterned" wallpaper. The team painted the doors, the appropriate rooms, the trim, the garage door and the front door. Ani recommended the colours for the walls and trim. She also specified white Venetian blinds instead of curtains for many of the windows and new light fixtures that are modern and very attractive, to greatly improve the impression received by prospective customers. Sense of Style specified the de-cluttering required and the furniture to show our home at its best. Many items of furniture were removed or rearranged. Sense of Style supplied furniture and rugs that created the proper image. Art was supplied and arranged for the walls and the furniture, including beautiful vases and flowers. Careful attention was paid to every detail. The services were provided very quickly, and were of high quality. I am very satisfied with the support that Sense of Style provided to stage my house.
