We had always dreamt of a new space connected to the kitchen where we could spend time and share meals with friends and family. Our vision was to create a room that would capture the brightness of outdoor daylight while keeping us comfortable indoors, protected from the elements. Vahena has turned this dream into reality with our new dining and living room, complete with a magnificent roof lantern. Not only did she manage the project with impeccable professionalism and ensure we stayed within budget, but she also went above and beyond by being consistently responsive and attentive to our needs. Her meticulous attention to detail and her enthusiastic and pleasant personality made all the difference. It was such a relief to rely on her to ensure every aspect of the project ran smoothly. We worked with Vahena to design a new kitchen. We absolutely loved the design and although we didn't end up having the work done (we actually moved house), we have taken lots of the design elements into the design for our future kitchen in our new home.

Vahena project managed and designed an 85m2, two story extension of our detached, Georgian property in Cheltenham. We are both busy professionals, with a large family and having her on board, made the upheaval of such a huge project relatively painless. The design phase commenced in Nov 2020 and building work started Nov 2021 and the build was completed in June 2022. Despite the Covid pandemic she brought the project to completion on time and on budget (yes you have read this correctly!). This is an incredible feat for which I give credit to Vahena and the fantastic team she works with. Vahena patiently and expertly guided us through the multiple versions of our build. With her skill she navigated us from the design we originally thought we wanted, to the ‘blue sky’ version of the build and back down to the reality of the build we actually needed, wanted and could afford. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she was always patient and professional, offering guidance where needed. She is passionate, tenacious, enthusiastic, organised and flexible and her communication is exemplary. She works alongside a team of experts including; structural engineers, architects and builders. The stress of finding the best tradesperson for each aspect of the build was therefore taken out of our hands. By listening to our vision, getting to know us and our family, she was able to understand the design which suited us in what I can only describe as a completely bespoke, individualised service. I cannot imagine undertaking a project of this magnitude without her, she was indispensable and I really cannot recommend the service offered by Vahena Marsili Interiors enough.

Vahena created the perfect bespoke wardrobe for our ensuite bedroom under the roof. She was very patient and understanding of our will to optimize as much as possible this space. The back of our hanging unit was left open to give access to an important extra storage space. The result is as beautiful as convenient. Thank you!!

Vahena led the entire refurbishment of one of my neighbours and client’s property and I must say that I am truly impressed with the outcome. Prior to the renovation, the property appeared cluttered and claustrophobic, and completely lacked openness and easy flow. Vahena entirely re-thought the layout of the house and created a spectacularly bright and luminous entrance foyer with double-height ceilings. She also re-designed the entertaining spaces to create a large open lounge/dining/kitchen space that is very well thought out. I pay special attention to kitchens layouts, being a caterer myself, and I find that this kitchen is particularly enjoyable. Well done Vahena!

We had support from Vahena at the start of the project to ensure we'd thought of all of the possibilities prior to handing over to the building team. We already had lots of ideas and had our own contacts to use for completing the work but used Vahena's experience to check we'd thought of everything - it was great for peace of mind! She followed our brief well and was reliable in terms of costs, timings and transparency.

We bought our first house in 2017 and, as both my husband and I were on work assignment outside of town for few months, we asked Vahena to manage the improvements we needed to make it our home. Even though we were away from our new house and could not meet with Vahena on site on a day to day basis, we immediately had the feeling that Vahena would carry out our project perfectly well for us. We shared with her all our dreams and took her recommendations on board, continuously exchanging emails including sketches, ideas, budget updates, and furniture and fittings selections. Throughout the property renovation project, Vahena was very helpful, staying within budget and completing our renovation on time. She gave us useful advice, she listened to our ideas and dreams very carefully and incorporated all our ideas into her design schemes. She took over the redesign of our bathrooms the minute she got hold of the keys from the real estate agent who managed our property purchase and hired plumbers, tilers and decorators on our behalf. Vahena designed and project managed our large home renovation project. She did a fantastic job and we are now really enjoying our "new" home. Vahena was with us from the start, working with the architect to ensure the flow and design worked for us, getting the most from the space and light. She then used her network of suppliers and builders to get competitive quotes for the work (and materials). Then she project managed the whole thing, by being onsite more than us (we had to move out during the work). She has stayed with us, and as with all builds there is always more to do, and it's great to know we can bite pieces off and still keep the consistent look and feel. Vahena was always clear about her services, cost and scope. The project ran extremely smoothly, and when things did come up she was quick to let us know and resolve the issue, so nothing slowed and we always felt in control. Having Vahena, with her experience, expertise and eye for detail, really helped with decision making. If you're thinking of doing some work to your home, or just want some advice, I'd highly recommend Vahena.

Vahena is a very professional, gifted and passionate interior architect. We needed to remodel an outdated 1960's house we had recently purchased to make it our home and Vahena provided great input as much in terms of spatial design and layout as in terms of kitchen or bathroom design. She provided concept boards, samples for all the materials she recommended, costing for all the furniture and fittings, from floorings to bathroom tiles, kitchen to bathroom furniture and fittings, light fixtures to window treatments. She challenged us to step out of our comfort zone on some aspects of the design and we are so happy we did: the bespoke staircase she designed for us is one of the most stunning elements of our new home. Vahena is truly easy to work with and made the project hassle and stress-free for us! I wish we had used her services with our previous property, it would have avoided us a lot of headaches and time spent working with the architect, sourcing and managing a builder - all that with both my husband and I having a very young family and 2 full-time jobs. I highly recommend Vahena for large property renovation projects. Ours simply would not have happened without her.
