Whittington Design Studio

I always wanted a home that was inviting, stylish, and a little intriguing. Whittington Design Studios helped me do that plus more. They stayed within my budget and helped me broaden my tastes to include what was best for my home based not only on my lifestyle but also the environment where I live (how to bring the backyard woods into focus and highlight the hues based on the amount of sun we get each day). I now have a home where I can entertain on a whim but also cater to my families very casual style of living. I am writing this on my screened in porch designed by Whittington design studios!!!

Whittington Design exceeds my expectations every time they do a design project for me. They have done several rooms in my house including a complete bathroom redesign and the interior design of a big kitchen dining room addition. They always manage to find furniture, fabric and art that reflects my taste, is updated and interesting and in my price range. They are professional, knowledgeable, and lots of fun!

I just hired Whittington Design Studio again for a master bed/bath reno. I am 100% satisfied and love coming home to my new master retreat each day. Melanie and Angie worked patiently and thoughtfully with my husband and I working to mesh our styles and keep costs down wherever we could. I am a repeat customer and will continue to use them again in the future!

I have a very eclectic style – some might say quirky. Melanie respected and maintained my style while pulling the room together in a much more cohesive way. She helped me finesse my love for old things things mixed with new. I didn’t want to invest in a new couch, so she refurbished the old one by re-upholstering the beat up cushions. I think the new drapes pull all of the elements of the room together. The chairs are really comfortable and I love the organic feel of the rattan. The whole team at Whittington Design Studio does great work and makes the process fun.

I have worked with Melanie Whittington and her team on several projects and they are always a delight to work with. Unlike many designers Melanie and her staff are always easy to work with and have that "team" approach were everyone is working together to produce the best outcome for the client, esthetically and financially.
