My fiancé and I recently moved into a new home, and we were at loss for how to organize the rooms, from furniture to paint colour. We hired Willow Root Collective for a consultation, and Emma-Lee was amazing! She answered all of our questions and more, and gave us so many great ideas on how to use our space effectively and make it feel like it fit our dream esthetic. I had the pleasure of working with Emma-Lee on designing my living room, kitchen and main bath, and I couldn't be happier with the results! She is a talented and passionate designer who truly understands how to transform a space into something special. She took the time to fully understand my vision and offered invaluable ideas and advice along the way. Emma-Lee of Willow Root Collective did an amazing job on our sunroom. She had a blank slate to work with and really listened to what we wanted. We LOVE everything she chose and the final look that she achieved. We spend most of our time in the sunroom as it’s so beautiful. Visitors to our home have said that it looks like a room out of Better Homes and Gardens. Emma-Lee is amazing to work with. She is very professional and dealt promptly with any issues we had. Willow Root Collective completed a full update of the interior of my home: knocking down walls to open up the space, updating the kitchen and bathrooms, and refreshing the rest of the house with new flooring and wall paint. I couldn't be happier with the broad choices that Emma-Lee made, but her real magic and design genius is best showcased in the incredible attention to detail with the updates. From the custom shiplap in the kitchen and bathroom, the standardized molding and doors throughout the house, the unique and custom partial wall dividers, to the fantastic lighting choices that are all different but coordinated- she thought of everything. Willow Root Collective turned my dream into a reality! I moved back into my childhood bedroom, and was working from home, so I wanted to do a major change so it would feel like a new space that I would enjoy spending time in. The walls were painted a bright green and blue colour so I started by repainting everything white. I find it very hard to visualize what different design pieces might suit a space well, although I am also very picky and know what I like when I see it. I showed the room to Willow Root Collective, and attempted to explain my vision (I didn't know exactly what I wanted so I showed photos of other rooms I liked). I ended up using every single idea Willow Root Collective suggested. They designed this gorgeous head board for my bed that was EXACTLY the look I was going for, some floating shelves on one wall, and even helped me to hang photos and place my plants in the right places. I wanted my room to be natural looking and minimalistic, and the end result was better than I could have hoped for. I would definitely recommend Willow Root Collective for your interior design needs. They know how to turn a dream into real life, especially for those of us who don't even fully know what we want until we see it!

Emma-Lee from WRC was great to work with for our mudroom refresh. She helped us bring some character to the previously blank, boring walls. The final result was cohesive with the rest of our home’s aesthetic. It added some visual interest and functionality. We would highly recommend!
