Animas Kitchen and Bath LLC has been in business in Durango since 1999. During that time we have had hundreds of satisfied customers and are presently experiencing an unprecedented volume of returning satisfied customers. We believe we offer excellent design and product solutions as well as excellent customer service. Problems and disputes have occasionally arisen and have always been resolved with favorable results. This client signed off on a contract which includes written specifications and presentation drawings without reviewing either one. Had she simply reviewed the drawings the order mistake would never have occurred. Upon delivery and installation of the cabinets we were informed of the problems with her order. The next day 3 December 2014 we offered, at no cost to her, the solution of providing drawers in the cabinets in lieu of the doors, we did not offer to replace her cabinet boxes. We do not offer pine cabinet boxes on any of our product lines. The client finally accepted this offer on 31 December 2014 by e-mail. The boxes and drawer fronts arrived in mid- February but were not installed until Friday March 20, 2015. We had several large jobs finishing up and arriving during that interval that prevented us from scheduling the installation of the drawers and drawer fronts. We do our best to help our customers fully understand every aspect of what they are buying and to eliminate surprises, but that requires our customers to review our detailed presentations. No financial benefits were gained by us through this problem, in fact the remedy was costly to us but not to the customer.
The problem of a drawer rubbing the refrigerator was found to be the result of a faulty installation of the refrigerator and no problem with the with the wastebasket cabinet could be found.
