Our experience with Mike and Danielle at Creative Wood was and has been nothing short of exceptional and thorough. With as many questions or uncertainties we walked in with, they provided us with suggestions, answers and examples of other recent projects that brought us peace of mind and a clearer view of what our final project would look like. We were originally referred to them by a friend who recently had a bathroom remodeled, and without hesitation, we will be back for future projects, as well as recommending them to others! We are more than satisfied with our custom cabinetry from Creative Wood Designs. The entire process from rough planning to final install was enjoyable. Creative Wood has been amazing to work with. From start to finish I can't say enough positive things. If you are looking to build or do cabinet work - look no further! The kitchen is maple with a Barnwood stain. The other cabinets are wrapped with thermofoil (bathroom, and mudroom). Pulls are gunstock.

Mike and Nicole at Creative Wood Designs are the best in their class! From start to finish our entire project went better than we could have ever imagined. When we started the planning for our remodel we weren't sure which way to turn. Mike came into our home, took the time to visit with us, made several suggestions we didn't even consider and then went to work with the drawings. What he came back with far exceeded anything we could have ever dreamt up. Mike laid out a detailed plan on how our project was going to go. We used Creative Wood Designs for our custom built home. We'd seen their designs in the past so we were very excited when our builder recommended we use them for our cabinets. Mike worked with us on the designs, offered suggestions as well as best practices. They provided us with kitchen cabinets, bathroom and laundry room cabinets, mud room benches and built-in's in our living room. The town house I purchased was build in 1978, so I wanted to redo the kitchen and bath vanities. I met Mike at the Pride of Dakota show and I am very glad I did. He came out and looked at what I wanted done and did some measuring. I had an idea of what I wanted, so he helped me pick the material. He always answered my questions and gave me advise. He never said no. Anything I ask he was there to help and do, to do what other people didn't want to do or didn't know how to do. My kitchen turned out great, everybody really likes it and the bathroom vanities are such and improvement. The installers were the easiest people to work with. What a great company.

I went through a design consultant to remodel my kitchen. The girl I went through recommended Creative Wood Designs to consult with. When I went to Creative Woods to look at my options, Mike was very proficient in showing me the door samples. After I picked my cupboard design, he was very thorough in designing my kitchen space efficiently. Mike didn't waste any time in proposing the final product. The installers were very cordial and mannerly, not to omit that they were professional in what they did. They used their time wisely and worked hard. The whole process went smoothly.

The crew at Creative Wood made planning and designing my kitchen cabinets fun. I am a hobby woodworker so I was skeptical of someone else doing something that I am fussy about. The finished product turned out amazing. I sure enjoyed planning the layout and all the dimensions with their modeling software. Seeing the layout before it was built was wonderful, something I usually can only partially visualize in my mind.. There were no surprises. Mike and Nicole made sure the design was exactly what we wanted before we signed any paperwork. They were great to work with. My wife and I had some customizations we thought would be difficult to explain, but the model helped us and the end product was exactly what we wanted. The end product turned out amazing! The cabinets were truly custom. Not a cheap pick from these pre-fabricated builder line cabinets. If you want your house to stand out, spend money on the finishing details, and the cabinetry is a HUGE piece of that. All the doors were installed evenly and every hinge and draw slide was set correctly. There were no runs in the finish. The installers were clean and professional. They worked extra to meet my closing deadline. Mike was eager to work with me to correct a few things that didn't fit quite right and he didn't charge me any extra. I would recommend Creative Wood to anyone looking for cabinetry work. I have alot to live up to when I build myself the remaining set up vanities and cabinets for the parts of my house left to finish.

We recently built a new home in south Mandan and used Creative Wood to design and build our kitchen and master bath cabinets. Mike and his staff were very personable and easy to work with, and the quality of the cabinets is outstanding. For a custom build, I thought the cabinets were very reasonably priced as well. My only complaint is that the cabinets in our master bath are not centered on the ceiling vault and windows as intended. Wish we would have caught the mistake during the install. Too late to fix it now. :/

After we decided to completely remodel our kitchen, my wife and I met with a few companies on custom cabinets. We contacted Mike @ Creative Wood through my brothers recommendation. After visiting with Mike, we knew right away that this is the company that we wanted to work with. Custom cabinets in general are not a cheap investment and is usually the biggest price tag of the remodel. We wanted quality that was reasonably priced and someone flexible to work with. Mike and his team exceeded our expectations. I can't tell you how important solid communication is when you are going through a project like this. My email questions were generally responded to within an hour, at the very least that same day. Mike and his team provided ideas and recommendations throughout, including cabinet layout, wood choice, stain color. We are extremely pleased with the results and we highly recommend Creative Wood. Truly a no-brainer. The overall result is high-end, quality cabinets that were very competitively priced. The estimates that Creative Wood provided was not a penny over what we were invoiced. In every aspect, working with Creative Wood Designs was an excellent experience. They always put their client's needs first and were extremely helpful with our building project. Their attitude was great. They were professional and very knowledgeable about all of their products and services. We contacted Creative Wood Designs based on the recommendation of someone else. We completely remodeled our main floor. While we did a lot of the work ourselves, we were looking for someone to build and install custom cabinets for our kitchen. We met with the people at Creative Wood Designs and found them to be very personable and easy to work with. We discussed what we were thinking and they provided even more ideas. They really listened to us and worked to create exactly what we wanted. We went with walnut cabinets with just a clear coat. They are absolutely beautiful! We've had so many compliments on our cabinets! The kitchen is truly the centerpiece of our living area. With four teenagers and their many friends, this is where we congregate. Love the cabinets, service and reasonable prices!

Creative Wood Design agreed to build the cabinets for our house built in 1929. Our kitchen had been redone in 1958, so we added a large island and two additional custom cabinet areas. They were great about giving suggestions, providing ideas, and we loved the results. I would definitely recommend them for a new-built kitchen or remodeling, or any other area where innovative cabinetry is needed. They made helpful suggestions as far as design, choice of products to use, and once we had the plan decided upon, everything was done in a timely manner. I really feel they make the best looking cabinets in the area, and are willing to try a new idea from the customer.

Creative Wood Designs did all the cabinets for my new home. We have everything from white to blue to gray to alder cabinets/builtins/closets/everywhere. I could not be happier with my cabinets and everyone that comes to my home comments on at least 1 room. Their professionalism was great, they made numerous trips to confirm measurements. The complete renovation/remodel of our kitchen was a huge success due largely to the professional help we received from Creative Wood Design! From the moment the team came to our house to the day of installing our our new cabinets and new bathroom addition cabinets we were blown away with their positive and professional attitudes. The computer program that they plugged our project into really helped us to see the new look from every angle. We always looked forward to our meetings with Mike because it was such a positive experience. He was willing to listen to our ideas and help us better see what would work for us. He and the rest of the staff had great suggestions from placement of cabinets, angles of corners, colored vs wood look, to helping us come up with a style that fit the rest of the house. We would not change anything we had done. We love the heavy duty hinges in some of the pull-out drawers to our large island with both sides used with storage on one side and drawers on the stove side. We love the flow and the many different work stations we now have. People that come to our home say we have "a million dollar kitchen" and we agree!
