Excel Builders is a remodeling company that offers home design build and construction services throughout the Greater Twin Cities Area. Our remodeling contractors excel in home remodeling. We have handled numerous kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, basement remodels. and attic remodels. If your family is growing, we can add more space to your home through as home addition. We are proud to be serving the cities of Chaska, Minneapolis, Plymouth, Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka, Shakopee, Chanhassen, Victoria, and Orono. We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen! The team at Excel Builders was amazing. We began the project in December of 2019 and the transformation was completed before the shelter in place order. I truly can't begin to describe how much we appreciate the design and beauty this project brought to our life. The project went smoothly. We have an old home and there were some issues however we were able to work with Christine and Trent to come up with solutions. I would recommend this team to anyone I know. Thank you so much!

Christine and Trent's have great pride in their finished product, which was clear at every step of our 2019 basement build-out. They took the time to understand our initial thoughts, likes and dislikes. The final design was improved a lot due to their input. They were also flexible to adjustments as we went along, while clearly noting any budget impact and potential alternatives to consider. The entire crew was easy to work with and respectful of the construction impact on our lives. I also highly valued Christine's assistance with the decorating - including knowledge of where to get favorable pricing. We have already recommended Excel Builders to some of our neighbors!

We hired and worked with Christine and Trent to help us design and then build our complete kitchen remodel. They gave detailed design drawings and cost estimates and worked with us in picking finishes, lighting and fixtures, the project was on schedule and budget. The final product is all we hoped it could be.

We used Excel Builders to remodel our master bath. An office, master closet, and small master bath were converted to a large master bath and closet. Excel has a great team that is easy to work with and produces high quality work. Their designer translated our vision into a great design that we remain thrilled with to this day. Like all remodels, we ran into some issues. Trent and his team resolved every issue professionally. There was no need for discussion, every issue that arose was addressed and fixed. We are thrilled with our new master suite and can't imagine living here without it. Would we use Excel again? In fact, we did. New tile floor in a full bath and a new tile floor, custom cabinets, and granite countertops in the laundry room.

Trent did a great job of guiding me through the process. His designers helped me, his on-site team helped me, and in the end the kitchen is beautiful. They listened to me and Inc. my ideas into the design. In the final walk-through there were a couple items that needed to be addressed. Trent took a look agreed then fixed the issues with no problem. I would highly recommend this firm.

I hired Excel Builders to remodel my master bathroom 2 years ago and my kitchen this winter, and was very satisfied with both projects. They gave me bids for the work that were reasonable, and adhered to the schedule they provided. The jobs were completed within the promised time frame, and the various people I dealt with were very professional. I would definitely use Excel for future projects!

Excel Builders just completed the simultaneous renovation of our two upstairs bathrooms (master and main) and we now have two gorgeous bathrooms. From the beginning of and throughout this project, Excel demonstrated a strong commitment to listening and working closely with us and delivering high quality finished products within the budget. Working with a designer was a first time experience for us and the end results reinforced what a great decision that was. Any concerns or issues we raised were heard and each was resolved to our satisfaction. Creative solutions were offered – including installing a temporary shower in our laundry room. The employees are personable and offer excellent technical skills. They took great care to protect our home from construction damage and were respectful of our time. We would definitely use Excel Builders again.

We had our master and hall bathrooms completely gutted and remodeled by Excel Builders. Trent, the company owner, is a most ethical contractor and maintains the highest standards of excellence. Christine, the designer, does a great job discovering your style and putting it into a wonderful design. While they may not be the cheapest, in the long run, with Excel, you truly get what you pay for. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our projects!

It was a great experience working with Trent and Excel Builders to have an addition added on to the the house. The team listened to what we were looking for and they gave us really good ideas on what we could do with the new and old space. This included a custom, built-in library, loft area, expanded bathroom (with custom cabinetry), and new siding/roof. The crew was always available to answer questions and work around our schedules (and kids who miss Trent and crew). During the entire construction, the crew did a great job of keeping us informed as to what was going on, keeping the job site clean (very important with little kids), and working around our schedules. Even after the project was complete, Trent kept in touch to make sure everything was still good. This was our second project with Excel Builders and was the biggest, by far. Would definitely use them again.

We were thoroughly pleased with Trent and Excel Builders! We did a kitchen/dining/family room remodel for 3 months this past winter. From our first interaction, Trent was very transparent about the process, and had fantastic ideas about how to redo our space. He listened to our ideas, and with his designer we were able to create the perfect kitchen. He helped us work within our budget, and laid out different pricing/benefit options for all the decisions we needed to make. Despite us adding additional requests throughout the project, his team was able to complete everything within the same timeframe. Very professional, great communication and we enjoyed getting to know the whole team. We will be using them again within in the next month to add a deck, and look forward to having them return in a few years to do our master bath. I highly recommend them!

Trent and his team were a pleasure to work with during our bathroom remodel. Everyone was very responsive to any and all of our questions and concerns. Although the job ran a little longer than we hoped, we were kept in the loop at all times. Jessica had some beautiful design ideas, and the result is that we love our new bathroom.

Excel did a total kitchen renovation for us. Total gutting except for wood floor which was refinished. Trent did an excellent job overall and we are very satisfied with the end product. He was fully involved with the design and stayed close from demo through completion. He has good employees and subs. Fully trusted them when they were working and we were not at home. Kept us informed all the way through. The few issues that came up were quickly resolved. This is our third project with Trent but was by far the biggest. We remain satisfied customers.
