A House Transformed: Our Forever Home I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to Gita Jacobson (In the Deets) and Priyam Sawhney (Konstructo, Inc.) for their exceptional work in transforming my home into a truly remarkable space. The redesigned downstairs family room, now featuring a kitchenette, dining area, and living space, ensures that our home will continue to meet our needs for many years to come. Additionally, working with their design-build team was a truly enjoyable and positive experience. Their collaborative approach made the process efficient and fun. They kept us informed every step of the way and delivered exactly what we wanted, within budget and on time. I appreciated their requirement for weekly meetings, which helped me stay involved and accountable throughout the renovation process. I have always loved interior design, and when we wanted to do a full remodel to our house, we needed a designer who was an amazing project manager to bounce ideas off of as well as good sounding board to keep things on track. Weekly meetings with her and Priyam were not only practical, but fun! They made things run so smoothly because you could make real time adjustments as you see your project come to life. Having a designer who can understand your needs, like Gita, really made our family’s vision become reality. We couldn’t be more pleased with our beautiful home!

Gita is awesome! We’ve been working with her for a couple years now, on everything from planning a full remodel to advice for little projects around our house. She is super knowledgeable about all things build and design, has great taste, is very responsive and always helps us understand the “why” behind her advice. I appreciate that she looks out for us and at times has explained why we shouldn’t do something instead of just going with it. We had a fantastic experience working with Gita on our recent house remodel. Our project included a full kitchen remodel with a walk-in pantry, an open great room with a new vaulted ceiling, a new primary bathroom, an addition for a walk-in closet, some exterior improvements, and new floors and interior doors throughout the house. We are pleased with the results and can't recommend Gita highly enough! We were impressed with her space planning, design advice, and attention to detail. Plus, she is responsible, considerate, and efficient. We enjoyed working with her and love the results! Our new home is beautiful, it reflects who we are, and we never want to leave!

I could not be happier with guidance and support Gita provided us during our kitchen/family room remodel. Gita can do it all! I hired Gita because I did not want to make mistakes on my project. I needed help with design/material selection and also wanted to be prepared to meet the construction schedule. We worked with Gita on our two bathrooms and she is amazing! She helped come up with a floor plan and design. We now have two functional bathrooms that meet our needs perfectly. We could not be happier with the result and we have Gita to thank. She is super easy to work with and quick to respond to all emails. I wanted to do a renovation for our guest bathroom but was stuck trying to decide on finishes. I wanted it to be funky and eclectic, but also having some classic touches. Gita helped me with the perfect design that kept all my wishes in mind. The best thing she did was help me find a gorgeous vanity through Houzz. She made it feel more like me by choosing brass faucet hardware that was fun, yet classic. I am so happy with the final outcome and all of our friends and family are loving it too!

Gita is an amazing designer and has such a creative vision. She can listen, look and feel what you are thinking, put it on paper, make adjustments QUICKLY and PATIENTLY with accurate and precise drawings then when you change your mind 10 times and come back all the way to the original plans, she will work it all out expertly. Gita uses her vision and expertise to make suggestions and pick out the items that will work around your ideas and existing infrastructure to come up with a beautiful result! No job is too large or small!

Gita worked on a bathroom renovation for us that is just complete (March 2021). Project involved removing a wall and reconfiguring whole bathroom including moving plumbing. I cannot recommend her enough. Gita has an amazing design sensibility...is able to discern your specific design taste and design to that style faithfully. She is a wonderful space planner, eking out the maximum utility from a space. She is a pleasure to work with...easy going, calm in the midst of any stress, incredibly organized and methodical in getting things set up for a smooth experience. She was always available and able to answer my questions and any questions our contractor had. Smooth experience, start to finish. I have always done projects myself, so this was my first experience using an interior designer and, I must say, not sure I can go back. I love the bathroom...it is perfect for my daughters' needs and I am just thrilled with how elegant it looks and how well it functions.

I reached out to Gita about remodeling my new home. The project scope was large and included 2 bathrooms, one powder room, one addition, removing an existing wall and kitchen makeover. She quickly created a preliminary layout plan including several different options that would work well. I was impressed by the professionalism and effectiveness in communication. I went with a design build firm because of timing issue. I did not know COVID was going to impact the timeline of my project after that. If I knew, I would work with her without a doubt. I sincerely recommend her to anyone who needs a great designer for their home.

Title: Wonder Designer My husband and I worked with Gita on our cottage remodel. We thought we could figure out what we wanted over a year after his mom passed away, after having lived there for over 16 years, and found ourselves distraught as to what to do. With Gita's professional, prompt, comprehensive guidance every solution opened up to us. She made decision making easy with sharing of her knowledge. We met for an hour and in 2 days she had plans drawn up for us that were perfect and expressed our every need. Because we planned to move into the cottage ourselves, she helped us make our dream home.
