I spent years thinking about how to reconfigure my kitchen and I knew in my gut that what I came up with wasn't "quite right." But I wasn't sure how to fix it. So I called Judi, and in just a few minutes Judi assessed the layout and knew exactly how to configure my kitchen. She took into account the traffic patterns, the location of the pantry and breakfast nook, and determined the placement of the cooktop, sink, fridge, etc which made the workflow in my kitchen easy and efficient. I love how my kitchen performs. I used to run in circles around my old island, but not anymore. Everyday I say I love my kitchen (my family is a bit tired of hearing it) but I do love it, and I have Judi to thank.

We are so happy to have selected JA Design to help with the remodeling of our main living space in our ranch style home. Our house was built in the mid 1960(s) and had pretty much the original design from that time. Judi's new design was extensive. We did everything from repositioning the kitchen, we removed all of the adjoining walls, added a large island and spanned cabinets along 50% of the wall space. She worked with us from the beginning to the end of the project, from the small details to large concept ideas. We truly have one of the nicest designs I've seen with our house style and we would not have done this without her help!

Judi has great taste and sense of style. It is elegant and sophisticated, yet simple. I hired Judi to help transform my living room from traditional to transitional. She did an amazing job recommending furniture, wall decor and window coverings - and the room turned out to be beyond my expectations. Janice even helped me find an area rug for my family room and suggested I paint my staircase bannister and rails a two-tone look. I followed her advice and absolutely love the look of my family room as well. I highly recommend her for any design project. She is a true professional, is incredibly talented with a great eye for design, and stays within the constraints of a budget. She was a joy to work with.

Judi Doling and JA Design are fantastic to work with / for ! We have done a lot of painting for JA Design and love the that her clients think the world of her design and color creativity . It's nice to work with happy people , A lot of times at the end of the project everyone is done with the remodeling hassle and the painters get the brunt of it - not on JA Designs jobs !

We worked with Judi in 2015 on several rooms in our home (Oak Park). Judi Doling (JA Design) is a designer who provides great guidance, taste, imagination, and knowledge, all in a way that feels incredibly collaborative. Though she was clearly the expert on the project, at no time did we feel that her way was the only way. Listening and being able to appreciate our tastes and specific needs were qualities she brought to the endeavor, along with great follow up and coordination with suppliers and craftsmen. And the results are spectacular! Up-to-date, fresh, great color choices, while still feeling functional and not overly "done." Wow!
