About Us

Kennebunk Kitchens and Baths is a small business owned and operated by Pamela Shangraw. Pam is a graduate of the School of Interior Design at Endicott College. She has been designing kitchens and bathrooms professionally for more than 30 years. Pam is also a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer. Pam applies all of her education and experience in Interior Design to the art of creating living spaces that are both elegant and functional. She finds tremendous satisfaction in helping her clients create a beautiful home environment that they and their families and friends can enjoy for many years to come. We built a new home in Kennebunk, we hired Pam, chose a cabinetry company she reps, she did the design, we signed contract, and by chance found out about another company from an architect called Stone Surface that is a dealer in Portland of the same cabinetry supplier, Showplace, were quoted $23K when she charged us $29K, we were already committed, showed her the quotation, she did not offer any relief on the $6K difference, and was upset we have mentioned this to others in town. Cannot recommend.

The owner, Pam, was easy to work with. Pam has great knowledge of the products she presented to us. She even understood what I was trying to explain (I saw this type of sink that I liked....) she knew what I meant!!! Pam also help with cabinet color selection and she even recommended a contractor to install the cabinets! Our experience with Pam was a breeze and we love the end results!!!

Pam Murdough at Kennebunk Kitchens and Baths helped us design our renovated kitchen in our 1920's home. She helped us open up the space, gain more storage and a better workflow, while updating the aesthetics and functionality. We are thrilled with the result. It's been over 5 years now and I still look at my kitchen every day and love it as much as the day it was completed.
