We had a funky kitchen project - we saved original cabinetry, replaced the counter and backsplash. We also added cabinetry in an open part of the room. The staff were amazing. We started out with just countertops (on the existing kitchen) and we were so impressed with their product, professionalism and service, that we worked with Deb and Dave to create a new space in the eat-in area. Deb measured everything perfectly and we spent a long time working with a very patient Dave to come up with the design. When it came time for the installation, the team was great, very clean and helpful. The tiler for the backsplash went above and beyond and the staff that came to solve challenges were professional and very helpful. The new cabinets are beautiful and make the space much more functional. Thanks for making our dream kitchen a reality! Our project was not easy (old house, very unusual layout) and the team did a top notch job.

It has been 1 year since our kitchen remodel was completed by KCCNE. We can honestly say that we are as happy and in love with our kitchen and pantry today as we were when we first saw the completed project. After soliciting bids from three contractors in the fall of 2020 we selected KCCNE. From the beginning when Joe Pakuris came to our house, listened to our ideas and then offered his professional opinion, I knew they were the right choice and that our project would be a success. The initial team , (Hannah, Sandy and Eddy ), worked with us to establish communications, take a preliminary design to final design and consulting on ancillary product and color selections. They were AWESOME! With the preliminary work completed and the project scheduled for mid January, we met with Kelli Baker the project manager, another AWESOME individual. After reviewing the documents and project specs with Kelli, my wife and I left for our winter vacation. From Jan to April Kelli kept us completely informed with communications and progress photos using their Buildertrend software. We resolved any outstanding issues and change orders through Buildertrend. We were never at the house to meet with the actual craftsmen, but from the quality of the work we could tell they had to be some of the best. This project was on time , on budget and exceeded our own expectations. Thank you Joe & Eddy you have a great company and even greater people working for you.

We love our new kitchen. We were cautious who to hire for such a big job, but KCCNE has exceeded our expectations. From the moment Eddy (the owner) has met with us along with the rest of his staff and workers throughout the project, everyone has been very professional, full of knowledge and have been a pleasure to work with. They always left the place nice and clean after finishing the job each day. From start to finish everyone made the process painless even thru the Covid 19 pandemic that presented a variety of issues which were all overcome with no stress on us. If anyone is considering remodeling their kitchen, we would highly recommend KCCNE.

We had our kitchen remodeled by KCCNE in Feb. 2021. We visited their showroom in Sept 2020 to see what would be available. Their showroom was amazing and had everything we were looking for. From our first visit there to our next visit with Eddy, one of the owners, everything went smoothly. Eddy had suggestions for a pass through to the living room which required some unusual carpentry work and he was able to solve the problem. We met with Heather, their designer, to review the layout and to make changes where needed. With her help we chose the cabinets, countertop and backsplash. She also explained what was going to be done and answered any questions we had. The craftsmen, including the demo crew, electrician, plumber, carpenter, and granite workers were professional and worked in a timely manner. All the workers on site were personable, accommodating, and took pride in their jobs. At the same time the various project managers communicated with each other to coordinate the town inspections as well as the day to day projects which needed to be done. Rick, our carpenter, was excellent. He was very particular about his work and at times went over and above what needed to be done. We cannot say enough about Kelli, our inside project manager. She listened to and resolved any questions or requests we asked of her. She coordinated with us on what would be done on a day to day basis. We felt very comfortable when we spoke to her as she always put our mind at ease with each phase of the project. In the end we have our new kitchen and have received many compliments. We would not hesitate to recommend KCCNE to anyone thinking about a kitchen renovation.

Our experience with KCCNE was truly a pleasure. From our meetings with Eddy, one of the owners; to Cindy, Dan, Kelli and Leo our project managers; to Shawn and the demo crew; to the staff, especially Tara, at KCCNE; to Steve and Scott, our electricians; to Bobby, our plumber; to Scott and his family, our drywall installers; to John the carpenter who took care of any minor problems that arose and made sure we were happy; to Janae, who came to clean the entire project area when the project was finished. Our experience with KCCNE can be rated as A+++ from the beginning of our project to the end. I was contacted within hours of reaching out to them via email and within a day or two Joe, the owner was sitting on my couch discussing our needs. We visited their beautiful showroom in Pawtucket, met with a customer service specialist, the design team, and the inside project manager. Everyone took as much time as we needed and carefully answered all of our many questions. The KCCNE team made the selection of cabinets, trim, and tile very easy for us. Demo and construction went along smoothly. Every KCCNE trades person was friendly and professional and asked me repeatedly if there was anything else they could do. When discussing KCCNE with them, to a person each one said how much they enjoyed working for KCCNE and what a good company it is. I’ve never heard a full team agree on anything, especially their employer! Throughout this project communication with everyone at KCCNE was easy, and we were provided phone numbers for everyone with instructions to call at any time with any issue. (there were none). During our initial research of companies, we interviewed and got estimates from 2 others. KCCNE was the last one. I met with Joe and immediately told my wife “this is the company that we want.” They weren’t the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive, but I could tell that they would do the best job just by speaking with Joe. We are so glad we hired KCCNE!

KCCNE has exceeded our expectations! We were leery about choosing a top tier remodeling company to do our kitchen project because we knew it would come with a hefty price tag. Of course it would have been easier and cheaper to hire a contractor and manage the project ourselves but we didn’t want the headache or burden to try to stay on top of it all. As the project was underway we had a change of heart on a few different items and KCCNE was flexible to ensure that we got what we wanted. KCCNE should be commended for their quality of associations. They gave us recommendations on where to shop for tile, appliances, plumbing hardware, doors, windows. lighting and even recommended a flooring contractor to refinish our hardwood floors. KCCNE never tried to pigeon hole us into using these suppliers and shops but after we did our research we wanted to ensure that we maintained the level of quality throughout the project. Our kitchen project consisted of a complete remodel. We wanted to go with an open floor plan which meant a major disruption in our main living area. This included moving all of the living room furniture into a Pod. Our first thought was that this was going to be nightmarish but the project planning was executed to perfection. KCCNE accommodated us when possible to help minimize the impact to our daily lives. If we had to do it all over again, we would certainly choose KCCNE.

Walking into KCCNE was like scrolling through your Pinterest Account... but in real life, the only difference is instead of searching for ideas and/or answers you just ask Steve. Steve could not have done a better job with handling all of our questions and concerns about the removal of our current granite and backsplash. The guy is a walking manual when it comes to different granites, quartz & marble! He explained everything to my husband and I with the upmost patience of a saint! As you can imagine this was our first remodel and we had many questions. Steve also worked around our schedule as we only had a specific window of time to get everything done before we moved in. He even gave us references for the cabinet handles and our faucets, which we used and had nothing but outstanding services from those vendors as well. I cannot stress enough how punctual, informative & committed the entire KCCNE company was to my husband and myself. Joey & Steve did an absolute fantastic job and I would 100% send anyone who wants to remodel or just get some ideas/advice on their kitchen to KCCNE.

Every worker with whom we dealt frequently on our project was highly skilled, personable, helpful & efficient. Our project manager & other team members worked tirelessly to keep the project on schedule & responded promptly to any questions/concerns we had along the way. Final results are ABSOLUTELY STUNNNG. We highly recommend KCCNE!

KCCNE started our reno about 3 weeks before the lockdown. I had a crockpot, a toaster oven and a microwave to prepare all meals during that time. Once the lockdown hit, KCCNE contacted us and told us that they had 10 clients with no working kitchens, so they were going to re-assign their crews to those 10...and we were on the list. Every person we interacted with was extremely knowledgeable and professional starting in their showroom. The had a very large selection of products on their lot to view and staff was very helpful with selection. The worker who came to measure and the crew that installed were very courteous, respectful in our home and wore masks and kept their distance and did a wonderful job. KCCNE did a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen and putting in a half-bath. Folks helped us with the design and the work was excellent. Big shout out to the KCCNE carpenters, electricians and plumbers. First rate work all around. We especially love how they matched old woodwork and spruced up our existing beadboard. From demolition to the thorough cleaning at completion, the people working in our home were tidy and very pleasant. Everyone was very responsive to any requests we had and patient with us throughout the project. We couldn’t be happier and would call KCCNE again in a heartbeat!

Great company to do business with ! Great onsite selection of granite. The salesman Bernie was very knowledgeable and no pressure to buy. Worked with us closely to make sure we were happy. Our experience with Kitchen Countertop Center ofNE was very nice from the beginning. We were greeted by Bernie who was very helpful and showed us the big granite slabs out back. Their technicians came to measure, level with lasers, and make a template and were all very pleasant and informative. Shortly after their crew came to install the granite countertops with the sink installed and did perfect work and showed us how to seal and clean the granite. High praise for all their workers.

They have done our Kitchen countertops and most recently our guest bath. Our center representative Frankie was professional, answers all our Questions and showed us alternate designs and material. Our installers meet me at the house on time and the did the install very efficiently. They even did and extra cleanup at the end. More so., When it came to measuring the countertop they used lasers That matched the walls surface perfectly. I have recommend them to others in a heartbeat!

We searched for granite countertop companies for about two years. Each business promised good prices, but ended up adding on costs to their initial prices. We would get excited to purchase granite, then sadly, would give up again. Fast forward two years. We walked into KCCNE for a small piece of granite for a side project. We were met by Bernie who was competent and caring. He listened to our project needs, and although he couldn’t fulfill our side project, offered to quote us a price on our granite countertops, stating he could improve on our other quotes. Their granite is top of the line, with beautiful pieces that were higher quality than those we had seen previously over our two year search. There were several edges to choose from for free, and the underside was completely polished for our overhang of 10” for our peninsula (which is often an additional cost). Bernie is not your typical high pressure salesman (or we wouldn’t have even talked to him about countertops at all) and has the patience of Job (we changed our mind several times on different sinks, granites, and trims and he went beyond the call of duty on our behalf. Joe, the owner, was able to work within our budget. We chose to do the demolition, leveling, and plumbing ourselves, to save more money. We also have to mention their delightful secretary and greeter, Frankie, who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, valued, and to help us however she could. To top it off, Joe’s son, who is probably 12 years old, greeted us with better communication skills than most adults. We look forward to when he can join his father with even more responsibilities as he grows into this job. What a treasure he is! Onto measuring and installation: the quoted time for Rodrigues to come to measure was estimated at a few weeks. In three days, he would have come had we been ready! We asked for a slight extension of time to prepare the space properly. He was competent, caring, and thorough. As we debated sizes and distances with each other, he was ready to give an opinion when asked and had great experience which showed as he spoke with us, appropriately guiding our decisions to an excellent fit for our home. Overall, his job took only an hour, but he played a very important role in making our home look as beautiful as it is now. Installation also came faster than their estimated time, and that was fantastic as we were so excited for this day to come! The team of Alejandro, Sebastian, and Julian were amazing. They work so well together and you can just see their passion for their work. They start by rolling out a rug to keep from tracking mud in from outside. They then place the granite gently on the cabinet tops. After placing them down, each works in his own space, and they seem to do a beautiful choreographed dance through the space as one tackles the kitchen, and one in each bathroom. Then, they seem to switch around, with each doing his specialty to perfection. There was a special piece of granite in our bathroom that had an exceptionally porous stone near the front and Alejandro removed the small blemish with a special glue or sealant that made it look perfect. All of the pieces were then sealed by the team and we were given detailed instructions on how to maintain them. We asked for a special backsplash in the kitchen and the team measured separately and came back two days later with the most beautifully cut backsplash, which they installed quickly and efficiently. Would we do the job with them again? Definitely!

I am so happy to share my review with regard to the experience I had working with the Kitchen and Countertop Center of New England! The staff was awesome. My kitchen is quite small, so I needed to make the best use of my space. I consulted with Tara, who really listened to me when I expressed my needs and concerns. Tara really went the extra mile for me when it came to personal deadlines for completion that I had set. I purchased both cabinets and a quartz countertop from them. I now have my dream kitchen

Our experience involved a complete bathroom remodel of our existing bathroom. From demolition to the final touches of hanging lights, mirrors, and especially the glass doors. Everyone of your workers showed great respect, integrity, and absolute professionalism While providing their individual services. Our new granite kitchen countertop is beautiful! KCCNE removed an existing Silestone countertop prior to the granite installation. The men who removed the old countertop were as precise as surgeons! The removal was perfect and the granite installation was expertly done by the same men. We would highly recomend KCCNE for any project in our home. The professionalism, knowledge, and quality of the work is exceptional.

We were very happy to see how thorough and professional they were when working on our home. My 1950s kitchen was thoroughly transformed into a 21st century workspace. Complete insulation, new plastered walls and ceiling, crown molding, extensive electrical work, appliances realigned, shelving increased, cabinets re-arranged, lighting improved, woodwork enhanced, countertops and subway tiles brand new! Craftsmen were neat and courteous and willing to listen to comments. The extensive renewal was worth the patient waiting.

They then offered suggestions and carried out the remodel detail oriented. Having trouble picking a contractor. Joe and the crew are like having family (that you like) work for you. They have it all. In house designers. Loads of samples. Stone, wood, colors. Its one stop shopping. They completely transformed our home. They manage and schedule all work. From demolition to punch list. Almost every trade is in house. Everyone that was involved in our project treated our house like it was their own. Our project went from a kitchen remodel. To moving walls, adding windows, moving and changing lights, switches, outlets. To changing the bathroom size and shape. To new floors and paint on the first floor. All completed in the time frame promised. Can not wait to do the next project.

Very professional crew, they were always on time. They arrived when they said they would. Very organized process from demolition to completion. The order creation process was very simple, we new exactly what we were getting upon ordering. It was also very nice to walk around the yard and pick out the exact granite we wanted.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and bathroom in North Attleboro. We had the pleasure of working with KCCNE designer Tara Winter. Tara was amazing. Her attention to detail was incredible. She was able to match the crown molding to a sixty year old cove molding on our existing built in hutch. It matches perfectly. She thought of everything. We have so much storage. Our cabinets are high quality. KCCNE's granite installers were AWESOME. Especially the foreman, Red, he was a true craftsman. We love everything about KCCNE and we tell everybody to go there.

We were very pleased with Joe's initial recommendation and Heather put that into an awesome design and Jade was great with helping us select backsplash, tile, flooring etc. We are thrilled with the end result. KCCNE has the best customer service and really knows there products. Biggest pro was they dont try to make you spend a huge amount of money, they keep you within a budget and are honest people. We love our countertops that we ordered a combo of quartzite and quartz that came out unbelievable. They have unique products and designs you wont find anywhere else. Professional from start to finish! From our initial meeting with Joe, our cabinet choices with Tara, to our exciting design meetings with Kelli, every member of KCCNE's team was truly amazing! We chose to gut our entire master bath and couldn't have been more elated at the finished product. As with any construction project, there can be "unknowns" that arise. In our case, we were lucky that Leon, "the tile master", noticed a problem with our original floor, that if went unnoticed, would been a major issue in the future. Soon after, a remedy was found. We can't say enough about how everyone came together in order to find a resolution. Every step of the way, we received attention, support, recommendations, updates, and more. The attention to detail was impressive, as was each and every team member. Respect was shown to both us and our home during the construction period. We have a beautiful updated bathroom, that provides an atmosphere of total relaxation.

Enter KCCNE. Their group has worked together as one family for the past 30 years and each discipline is run in house. When we decided to renovate our kitchen last year, we were completely in the dark as what the process would be like. It would be the first time we hired a company to do a major project in our home. We did a complete redisgn of our kitchen and Nathan helped us every step of the way and we love the end result! Our new kitchen was a complete redesign, gut existing space, and build from scratch. KCCNE did a fantastic job! We love our new kitchen! I am writing this review regarding a full kitchen and half bathroom that I had KCCNE do in my house. I recently purchased an older home and wanted to take the wall down between the kitchen and the formal dining room. I had interviewed over 6 contractors for this project and Eddy was the only person who identified an issue with the load bearing wall. I was so impressed by the level of detail and commitment that he put into my project before I even signed the contract. Eddy even brought an engineer over the house to make sure that they wall could be recessed and he was the only one that was confident it could be done. The kitchen renovation involved moving the sink and getting rid of a bump out and putting in a new window. In addition, it involved moving a coat closet and pantry to use that space for the kitchen. It also involved upgrading the electrical panel for the house and adding hardwood floors into the kitchen. The entire team at KCCNE was unbelievable!!! They are the most hardworking and trustworthy team you will find. From the moment Eddy came into my home, he had some great ideas on what can be done to improve the space and make it look incredible! He helped me see a lot of things to improve this space, so it is more practical. Tara was so creative with redesigning the space and making it more functional for my family needs. She spent a lot of time with me when it came to picking out the right cabinets and the right countertops. She was spot on with all her recommendations and the flow of my kitchen is so much better now. Cindy and Dan helped me quarterback the entire project and using the Slack app made managing this project even easier. They did an amazing job pulling all the permits and orchestrating which team comes when and keep the project going. The demolition crew and all the other specialties were also incredible. The crew would show up everyone morning from 8am-5pm. Every evening when I got home the house was clean and all the tools were put away. The entire team is so nice and funny. Joe Mele and Andy did an amazing job with the cabinets and the carpentry for the project. The attention to details and the ideas they presented were very creative. They helped me design the new closet and move plumbing, so the entryway could be opened even more. I clearly remember them coming in one morning at 7:30 because it was going to rain that morning and they wanted to start earlier to get the window in. Even the suggestion to add a USB outlet to the island is something I would not think off and we use it every day. The quality in the craftsmanship with the carpentry is hands down the best! Leo and his team did a great job upgrading the electrical panel and had great recommendations regarding layout and lighting. They were also very helpful putting in a speaker SONOS system into the kitchen and now we enjoy listening to music every day. The team at KCCNE is a family and when they were working in your house you get the feeling off a team who is dedicated to your project. You will not find another team who is more efficient, organized, fun and honest.

KCCNE – A GREAT renovation experience with our handicap bathroom remodel! We chose KCCNE to satisfy our requirement of three contractor quotes and very quickly they became the best fit for us! KCCNE’s showroom, Joe the space planner, Tara the designer, Kelly the project manager, and their crew were absolutely topnotch as advertised on the radio. A lot of thought and discussion took place between KCCNE and us during the bathroom planning phase around how best to accommodate my handicapped mother. The resulting bathroom has the correct grab bar placement, a warming heat lamp, a shower seat that is just right, and shower head placement keeping Mom warm and allowing ease of cleaning at the same time. As this was all discussed ahead of time, there were no surprises! Out of the three contractors, KCCNE was closest to the lowest quote. We liked the fact that they have their own work crews and that we could use their discount to purchase quality plumbing fixtures without any plastic parts. Another plus is that they have an app that communicates between KCCNE and the customer for issue tracking, questions, work schedule, etc. It worked very well for us! Originally, we were going just for a functional bathroom, now we are spoiled as the end result is not only functional but truly beautiful!! We recommend KCCNE highly and are already looking forward to working with them for another room remodel!!

Great Experience! The showroom is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Nathan, our kitchen designer had great plan ideas and listened to our ideas. We installed the cabinets ourselves. KCCNE gave us good tips and helped us through the process. The cabinets and countertops are beautiful. We got much more than both the big box stores (received quotes from both) and the cabinets at KCCNE were priced better. We are very pleased and will definitely go back for future projects.

We used KCCNE for our new granite countertops after looking at many companies , reviews , granite selection etc . We worked with Hanah throughout the process but you are really working with a team of professionals as you proceed through selection , layout , etc. on the day of installation(Friday before Easter) we ran into a glitch with the cabinets that were installed by another contractor that seemed to have an issue with leveling that was by no means apparent . It was Easter weekend and we had dinner planned for Sunday with what was looking like no sink or countertops . The true test of any company is how do they perform when things don't go right . The company and its management was fantastic ( at 4pm on a Friday before Easter ) , making arangments with there carpenter to get him here 8:30 am Saturday morning to fix the leveling issue and the installers back at 11 on Saturday . They are perfectionists and wanted the granite installed perfectly as some leveling issues over time can cause the granite to crack . This is the true test and earning of my 5 star rating . I would look no further , there work is beautiful , staff is professional but there management and company commitment to the customer is beyond question . When nothing goes wrong many companies appear good , it's how they perform when thrown a curve ball . Awesome work and corporate culture.

We are remodeling our kitchen so my wife and I stopped in to KCCNE after looking at several other countertop dealers. Right from the start things were different. After answering a few questions and providing a layout to Steve our sales person, we knew what materials would work best for us and how much would be needed. We then went out to look at the pieces of granite they had in stock and found exactly what we had been looking for. Back in the showroom we were given a great price and some addition suggestions to make our project perfect. There was never any pressure to buy or up sell us to more expensive materials. We decided to replace our Formica counter tops in 3 bathrooms. We stopped at KCCNE one afternoon and I found exactly what I was looking for. Our sales person, Steve, did not pressure us and he actually gave us some good pointers. They have a large selection and the entire experience from browsing, ordering, measuring, and installation went smoothly! My half-bath has granite, and the other two baths have double sinks and I chose quartz for them. I'm very happy and would recommend them!

The end result of the work KCCNE did is absolutely perfect! I'm giving 4 starts instead of 5 because we started with a simple "ask" to get more kitchen counter space and at first went down the path of a recommendation for an entire kitchen redesign. After several unproductive conversations with the primary contact we'd been assigned - who was someone who wasn't a designer - Joe, one of the co-owners came out to view my space. Totally a 5 start experience!! Joe quickly came up with the perfect way to get the job I actually wanted done, within my budget, with a very short period of disruption to the space. He was completely transparent about the challenges of shaving down my peninsula (and adding about an inch of height to the rest of the existing cabinets), ensuring that I understood the risks and possibilities for not loving the end product. He made sure we knew and agreed to the challenges we might face. Then, he said that his team would do all of the carpentry work o the existing cabinets for us, which apparently isn't a usual step for them. Way to satisfy the customer, to make up for the original unproductive and uncomfortable project discussions. Maybe given the size of our project, more cosmetic to KCCNE than redesign, we weren't offered the help of a designer or project manager. Luckily we made good choices for the sink and backsplash on on our own, and I did have a responsive go-between for getting the project scheduled and the work completed in 7 work days (new counters, backsplash, conversion to a gas cooktop, new built-in appliances requiring a significant electrical upgrade. The end product is stunning. Each person who came - electrician, plumber, carpenter/project lead, tile installer, granite installation team - was committed to keeping my place clean, efficient, and so nice! We will definitely be using KCCNE to redesign our bathrooms.

Kitchen and Countertop Center of New England was great through the process of purchasing and installing granite for our island. I had a specific granite that I needed and due to the size, a remnant would be more cost effective. Kitchen and Countertop Center of New England contacted me as soon as an appropriate remnant was available. They came that week to measure and our granite arrived two weeks later. The install was extremely fast, clean and well done. We are thrilled with the outcome. It looks beautiful!

I only needed a small piece of granite for a bathroom counter. they had a large selection of small pieces. salesperson spent a lot of time with me going over granite remnants, moving lots of granite pieces until I found the right one. Coordination of delivery was fine. installation was fine. I would use KCCNE again for a larger project. The showroom is beautiful.

We had the best experience with KCCNE who built us our our dream kitchen. It involved taking down a supporting wall and remodel the whole kitchen starting from the studs. From design to demolition to finish the staff was professional, friendly and extremely competent. They all took great pride in their work and it shows. I had an amazing experience with KCCNE. Joe came out to our home to give us some guidance on what to do with our outdated and not so functional kitchen space. We then picked out a new sink from the many options and talked about how it would be cut, etc. He was a really great guy to deal with when I was trying to make decisions. For install, the guys who came were fast and courteous, they installed a new sink and the countertops quickly and gave me advice on how to care for the stone. They were great!! And I can't stop staring our how pretty it is! The cut has this beautiful piece of crushed clear Quartz, I'm obsessed with! I would definitely recommend KCCNE to family and friends knowing how amazing they are to do business with! Big thank you to Joe, Dan, Steve, Christina, & Hannah for all of your help! We had a wonderful experience from the moment we interacted with Kelli at the Rhode Island home show to the completion of our kitchen renovation. The ability to deal with a company that has their own designers, demolition crew, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and hauls away the trash in a timely coordinated manner was wonderful. Everyone was neat and did everything they could keep the rest of our house as clean as possible. The only recommendation I would have is to oversee the floor tile measurement to minimize overage. By the time the tile was installed it was beyond the 30 day return policy to get credit. Everything else was perfect and will definitely use again for bathroom renovations.

Installed a granite top for my kitchen. I was impressed with the choice of colors and products. Their showroom is really a showroom. The salesperson Steve Goldstein was very accommodating and went the extra mile. randy the tech who cut and polished my stone was very helpful too. The crew who removed my older counter and installed my new counter were knowledgeable and professionals. I would highly recommend them and I will use them again in my beach house next summer.

We had been planning on remodeling our bathroom for several years. We considered several companies along with doing it ourselves. Although we had an idea of what we wanted to do, we greatly benefited from the design experience and helpful suggestions provided by KCCNE. Many thanks to KCCNE for converting our old house into a modern home! We kept the exterior walls mostly the same, but the entire house, except the basement, is brand new. Believe it or not, the project was completed while we continued to live in the house. This feat took careful planning and coordination led by Kelli and creative solutions crafted by Joe Mele. KCCNE completed the project in two phases with a short break in the middle so we could catch our breath and move from the untouched areas to the newly completed ones. The finished house feels substantially larger, has a massive kitchen with excessive counter space, open floor plan, and a beautiful master bath with a few extra luxuries. We used to feel cramped with a few friends visiting, but we recently had a BBQ with eighteen family members and had plenty of room for everyone. The details of our adventure are below, complete with the highs and lows of the project in case you’re thinking of starting a renovation. The first day of demolition our refrigerator and stove moved into the garage, an old microwave moved into the basement, and a slop sink was installed for doing dishes. Four full days of demolition and our house was hardly recognizable. The kitchen, main bathroom, living room, dining, room, upstairs bedroom, sitting area (now a master bath), and hallways were completely stripped down to the studs. The first few minutes were the most terrifying since we realized there was no turning back. Every day that Shaun and the rest of the demolition crew were there, we would come home to a surprisingly clean house. We even noticed they were sweeping the steps outside to the main entrance so we didn’t track dust back in! They made it feel like we were still coming home after a long day instead of feeling like we were entering a disaster. Once the walls were open we got a chance to see what unexpected problems we were going to face. We were lucky and we only had a few surprises. For each problem, KCCNE had multiple possible solutions. They took the time to explain the options, their pros and cons, and helped us make the right decision for our budget and schedule. We asked a lot of questions and kept ourselves involved in the project. Fortunately, because our project was so massive, they could work on other areas if we needed a little time to do some homework before making a major decision. The leads from each of the trades all met at the house with us as soon as demolition was completed. We walked from room to room explaining our vision for what we wanted. They took the time to listen, asked great questions, and remembered the fine details as they worked. Joe Pakuris, Leo (electrical), John (plumbing), and Joe Mele (carpentry) found ways to slightly adjust how they were doing their part to ensure the finished product came together as we had dreamed it up. Joe Mele really stepped up as the onsite day-to-day person. Every morning he would ask us a few questions to make sure he had our vision clear in his head and helped guide everyone as small things came up. If he wasn’t positive of an answer, he’d ask us the next morning or text us a picture so we could provide quick answers. He usually had questions a few days in advance for us so we could think and decide without feeling rushed which we greatly appreciated. One example of Joe’s creative leadership that really stood out was early in the roughing stage of the master bathroom. John agreed to route a pipe a little differently so that Joe could put a pocket door in a specific location to satisfy a bunch of goals. It may sound like a minor thing, but it solved several problems at once that we could not see a solution to any of them individually. That little change gave us a place to put our heated towel rack, made the entrance to the master bath more convenient, helped open the room, and gave the toilet area a little extra privacy. Another example was Kelli tracking down a way to create a custom shaped shower to fit our small space, but with a solid surface instead of tile. The combined Corian shower pan, Choreograph and glass walls exceeded our expectations. It looks incredible and is so easy to keep clean. We really love the master bathroom. The glass and mirrors that Scott installed, who was referred by KCCNE, really make the tiny space feel much larger than it truly is. No project of this magnitude goes forward without some issues. The real question is how a company handles those problems when they do come up. Given the scope of our project, it was surprising we didn’t have more issues; careful planning really helps avoid problems. Our biggest problem was the result of one area of granite installation. The result was not what we expected. A few folks from KCCNE came down to look at it and tried to make one fix which was reasonable, but still very different than what we really expected. We were very surprised a few days later when the fix was removed and that task recompleted a few days later better than we expected. We have a lot of respect for a company that stands by their work, especially in a gray area like this where they could have been very justified stopping with their initial fix. We know that took extra time and materials and we absolutely love the result. Many thanks to Dan and the rest of the team for going the extra mile. The granite from KCCNE is beautiful. We ended up putting the White Ravine stone everywhere, led by Rafael and the granite crew. The kitchen, dining room, both bathrooms, and stairwell ledges took approximately 4 full slabs. We have no ideas how many square feet of blueboard were needed, but we do know the new blueboard went up fast. Then Scott and his crew removed the old popcorn ceilings and cleaned up a bunch of poorly taped old seams from the original house in the process too. It was amazing to see the design Mary Jane prepared on the computer become a reality. As part of the renovation we also had some cosmetic and functional changes that we wanted to do while the walls were open. This included splitting up the original poorly designed heating loop for the house into four zones, adding beams to give the living room a wow factor (everyone says wow when they enter the room for their first time), creating a coat closet, adding insulation to rooms we felt were cold in the winter, installing a ceiling fan, improving the lighting, replacing all carpets with tile or hardwoods, fixing squeaks in the floor and stairs, upgrading the house security system, and many other little pieces that really make the house more functional and comfortable. It’s funny how some of the small things we didn’t think about were taken care of too. For example, our electricians Leo, Matt and Scott listened to how we were planning to set up the furniture in the master bedroom during that first day walk through. As the project was nearing the end we noticed the outlets near where we were planning to put our nightstands had built-in USB charging ports in them. Leo consistently told us he only does things he would do for himself in his own house. We use them every day, but never would have thought to ask for them. The same goes for dimmers on many of the switches which we use more than we thought we would. Our painter Chris, who was recommended by KCCNE, was a one-man show but worked creatively to get areas of the house finished so we could move in and get back on with our lives. He patiently waited while we debated between countless shades of blue for one bedroom. He was always cautious to remind us that he didn’t want to push in any way with color selections, but we knew he would have good ideas having seen the results of his work on countless other houses. His suggestions to go a bit bolder with some color choices were absolutely the right move. The house has a classic color palette, but with enough subtle differences to make it feel bright, warm, and inviting.

KCCNE remodeled our kitchen and bath in the Spring of 2017. Their staff was totally professional from the initial consultation until completion. We can’t say enough good things about their design services. They were patient and helpful as we worked through the many decisions about layout, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and flooring. The best part of the experience was the way KCCNE communicated with us through every step in the process and coordinated all the aspects of the project. The designer, plumber, electrician, carpenter, tile man, drywaller, and even the demolition crew, made sure everything on the project went together the way we wanted. We were very fussy about every detail and KCCNE did not disappoint.

I hired Kccne to do a bathroom remodel and I am very happy with the end result. We had the master gutted to the studs and they installed a free standing tub with a custom tiled shower. Kelli helped us with the tile design and all the finishing touches. Our carpenter Joe was a true craftsman and paid attention to the fine details. In the summer of 2017, my wife and I finally decided to remodel our 1960s style kitchen. What can be a stressful process turned out to be completely stress free due to the guidance and support of Mary Jane at KCCNE! Mary Jane worked closely (believe me, she is very patient with all the questions) with us to visualize and design what is now the heart of our house. We have been wanting to redo our master bathroom for years. We talked to several people and decided to go with KCCNE. Great decision! The contractors were all conscientious, skilled and very friendly. Kelli, the designer, was exceptional with understanding exactly what we wanted and bringing it to fruition. The only subcontractors we used were for painting and glass, and they both had the same attention to detail and quality. KCCNE gave us a new kitchen, guest and master baths, and updated the rest of the house. Our 50 year old house looks brand new and is easily the nicest house on the street!

Tremendous work in both design and workmanship, as well as my overall experience with the KCCNE team. From the design perspective Eddy was able to bring my ideas to life, selecting finishes, colors, and design elements that really enhanced the finished look of the room. Quality of workmanship is a top priority for these guys - from tile layout to moldings, granite and glass, all work was done with an eye to perfection and anything that needed to be corrected was done without question. You will not find KCCNE to be the least expensive but you also won't likely find better results or a better company to deal with.

I am horrible with color and had no idea how to layout a kitchen that would be functional and look good in my new construction home. I sent over my plans to one of their designers and sat down with her. The layout that Tara came up with was so beautiful and very efficient use of the space. She helped me with the color selections. Kelli was fantastic at helping me pick my tile out. I cannot express how wonderful and skilled these people are! My kitchen is everything and more, I am so pleased with it all. My husband and I bought a second home in Narragansett and we wanted to update the house without breaking the bank. The owner worked with me on an affordable selection without jeopardizing the look or quality. My kitchen now has beautiful fantasy brown counter tops that everyone compliments when they come to my home and white JSI cabinets that are stunning. They had to move a window and relocate the plumbing and this was not a problem for their team. They coordinated everything for me, without me having to lift a finger. From the service at the showroom all the way to the girl who cleaned my kitchen when they were done, the service is out of this world! I recommend to all of my friends!

We hired Kccne to do our kitchen and 1/2 bathroom remodel and we are glad we did so. Joe the owner came out to meet us at first and was very informative. He knew exactly what to do. Then you go into their showroom. I had been to 3 others and no one even comes close when it comes to size and selection. Everything is under one roof and the full stone slabs are there to choose from. Mary Jane the designer was excellent along with Kelli Baker the interior decorator. I was helped every step of the way and no detail was left out. When the job started all the tradesmen were on point and completed what was in my scope of work with perfection. I would highly recommend this company and they stand behind their product. We did have one small issue with grout cracking on the backsplash and they corrected it right away.

The Kitchen and Countertop Center of New England was kind enough and extremely generous when they donated a kitchen remodel for our Teacher's Lounge at Hamilton Elementary School. KCCNE provided everything brand new for us -- a beautiful stainless steel refrigerator and stove, granite countertops, stainless steel sink, new faucet and gorgeous cabinets. The gentlemen who came to work on the project were very professional and respectful. They worked within our time restraints, came when they said they would and finished in plenty of time for us to enjoy our kitchen before the school year ended. Hiring KCCNE was the smartest thing I have ever done as a homeowner. These people are the best contractors I have ever worked with and best of all they do it ALL! There were no delays with subcontractors so the impeccable quality of our kitchen redo was actually done BEFORE the projected finish date! When does that ever happen with a home improvement project? Joe and his crew did a great job from start to finish on a difficult renovation of our condo loft. They worked really well with our condo association and did a great job with the renovation, including a demo and rebuild of a new kitchen, with subway tile to the top of a 10 foot wall, new floors throughout the unit and new electric. This is our second renovation with KCCNE and we wouldn't use anyone else.

They made a major renovation a minor inconvenience. Totally professional, accommodating, understanding and phenomenal. We knew we wanted a new kitchen... what we got was a new lifestyle....3 years later and every day i come down the stairs and cant believe this is my kitchen. Couldn't be happier!! My husband and I were concerned, having 2 small children, that this total remodel would take us out of our kitchen/ lower level for too long, but KCCNE was true to their word! We were so impressed by the communication amongst the team with us, as well as how there was always someone there working - no lag time between workers meant getting the project done in time before the holidays as promised... But most importantly, done right. Extremely thorough craftsmanship, and start-to-finish assistance from designers to cleaners throughout the entire length of the project. This was the absolute worst contracting experience we have had as home owners. 45 minutes into our renovation, the entire project and original plans blew up. For each contractor coming through it was 1 step forward, 2 steps back and no ownership of mistakes. This was a classic case of over promise and under deliver.

This company is terrible. They are in progress with a project in my home and I'm going to have to find someone else to finish the job. My countertops came with cracks, dents, and chips, I have holes into ceiling and walls, company is not legit and does not pull required town permits, no inspectors came to inspect my job. I've cried many tears over the damage this company has done. I had to get my home professionally cleaned because they don't vacuum or clean as they go. I've been out of my house for almost two months and I still have an incomplete job :( I have a five month old and a four year old. It's been a complete horror show. Do not hire this company.
