The objective of our practice: the creation of smart and creative architectural solutions that enhance the lives of homeowners and general users. The focus of our service: comprehensive management of the often complex process of interior design and renovation, from program definition to construction close out and decoration. Yami Arvelo, founder and designer of MOONEShome, has a keen eye and over 20 years of experience in redesigning spaces, reinventing them and making them uniquely her own. She has staged, designed, remodeled and facilitated sales of over 500 residential properties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Yami led a home remodeling project for my duplex. She finished the entire job within a month and a half and the outcome was truly amazing. It was a complete transformation. She delivered everything she promised to us, on time and with high quality. She is easy to work, knowledgeable, design oriented, yet budget conscious, and extremely efficient. If I run another remodeling project, I'd definitely work with her again within a heartbit!

Yami Arvelo, a principal, came to our house and offered us two choices as to how to stage it for sale. We chose her clean modern theme - which resulted in her removing (storing) nearly all our traditional (but cluttered) furnishings. She brought in an entire house worth of of her furnishings (leaving very few of ours). The place looked fantastic! Had we stayed, we may well have bought her furnishings. We had not realized how old looking our stuff was - even though they were antiques (for the most part). Of particular note: when we were, perhaps, somewhat difficult in her eyes, she always obliged us with a smile. We would highly recommend her services and it turned out to be well worth what we spent and the house sold in a reasonably short time.

Yami is amazing. We went through a six month tear down rebuild. If anyone who has gone through this process you know that your are pretty much burnt out on making decisions towards the end. The key thing is that you really need to be focused on the detail work towards the end. Our awesome local contractor Javier referred Yami to us. Yami came in and within minutes had phenomenal recommendations and ideas for us. Yami helped us with our interior design work, picking out colors and furniture that we would never have thought of ourselves. Yami has a great eye and amazing style. We only wish that we brought her in sooner in the overall design process. I strongly recommend her work and refer her anytime that I can. I am a strong believer in "added value" and Yami definitely added value and closed the loop on helping us build our new home.

Yami Arvelo has staged five or six homes for my clients, and we've had great success in getting them sold. Her strength is understanding scale - the items she chooses make the space seem just right. Often clients have artwork too small and furniture too big. Yami is very good with clients, not making them feel wrong, but advising on what they might do with their things. She has a warehouse of items that she brings to complement the scheme, and is very good with color as well. Her staging is not cliche. I recommend her highly.

The collective wisdom of Moones is superb. They know how to maximize our resources so that we don't waste revenue. At our request, Moones consults on matters unrelated to a specfic project. We have found their contributions have great value. Moones is actual a better value than in-house or day labor by completing taskjs much faster than our old methods

Yami staged our house for sale. When she entered, it was empty and antiseptic. When she left, it looked professionally designed, upscale, attractive, and in short, a high end home (which was the goal). Yami was personally very kind and nice to work with. But she was professional. Her crew was very careful, and they arrived on time and got the project done swiftly. They returned at regular intervals to make sure the patio furniture was looking its best, and to fluff the pillows and keep the house looking its best. She did a remarkable job, and I highly recommend her.

Commented: Paint kitchen cabinets that are only 3.5 years old?Replace the cabinetry doors! and paint walls too! Both are very easy to do and will provide you with major rewards in the long term!
