Cochran's Remodeling & Construction LLC

We hired Cochran to replace some trim and two exterior doors on a new house we bought in April. They just finished the work in October. After the initial salesperson got us to sign the contract, the communication was terrible. I literally called them every week (sometimes more than once a week) for several months, just trying to get someone to tell me what was going on. It felt like my second job. No one would return my calls. After I texted the number I had saying that I was going to leave a bad review, Dawn called me and said she would be on top of it from now on, and I could call and talk directly to her. That also didn't pan out. I continued to have trouble getting in touch with them and figuring out when work would be done. And when I called and asked to talked to Dawn, she wasn't available and rarely actually called me back. The experience of dealing with this company was so bad that it would have been funny if it wasn't so stressful. I would not recommend them to anyone. I must say that the actual tradespeople were professional and did good work (when it was finally scheduled), but the lack of organization, communication, and planning was unlike anything I've ever experienced.

Easiest review ever to write....from my fireplace mantel, master bedroom, powder room, man cave.....he's done it all for us! As we move into our historical home he now is helping us create our vision. Everyone Steve has working with or for him is top notch...with their eye on the customer's satisfaction!

Stephen and Co. is fantastic! He has completed 6 large projects in our home (2 bathrooms, sunroom, mud room, family room and basement) and his work is top notch. Always very professional and courteous. He is reliable and listens to what you want but makes suggestions that may not have been thought of before. I HIGHLY recommend Stephen!

I worked with Stephen from Cochran's Remodeling on a recent kitchen and family room remodel. The project was fairly extensive including removal of walls, new custom kitchen island, refinish of floors, paint, trim and millwork, and redesign of fireplace and mantle. The custom 9' island turned out beautifully. Stephen was well organized and completed the work within the expected timeframe. He also coordinated the other trades including lighting, paint, and drywall. As the Interior Designer on the project, Stephen was very open to my ideas and ability to create our vision. I definitely recommend Cochran for remodeling projects.

Every year at this time I look back and give thanks for the many good things that have happened. This year I am thankful for my new kitchen. Steve Cochran's company was recommended to me by a friend and I have recommended him many times over. He is a pleasure to work with as are all of his professionals ie. plumber, electrician, tile guy. We had a challenging project and Steve took the time to work with us to get the most out of a dramatic bar and entire basement redo. We used product that was new to Steve for 2 feature walls and he researched how to adhere it and it was installed perfectly. I have received fabulous complements on this project and it is a wonderful and inviting space for our family.

They did a wonderful job. Pricing was very fair. Always felt the lines of communication were open and they were very helpful in educating us along the way. Have done 3 projects with them and not had one complaint. Truly professional and reliable!

Stephen Cochran is very detailed oriented and strives for perfection in his work. He does timely work, spotless clean up and is very respectful of an owner's property. I would highly recommend him and will continue to use his company for all our renovations needs!
