Carey Bros. Remodeling

We had an excellent experience with this kitchen remodel from start to finish. The entire process was smooth and well managed, and we truly appreciated how clear and consistent the communication was throughout the project. Beth and James Carey did a fantastic job with the planning and estimation—everything was transparent, accurate, and thoughtfully laid out. There were no surprises, and any change requests that came up were handled efficiently and professionally, which made the process feel very low-stress. The construction crew, especially Aaron and Matt, were always on time and delivered outstanding quality work. The fit and finish on the custom cabinets, tile work, and paint were excellent, and the attention to detail really shows in the final result. The project stayed on schedule, the team was respectful of our home, and the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We’re extremely happy with our new kitchen and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality remodel experience.

We recently had Beth Soto design and Carey Brothers Remodeling implement our large Kitchen and mult- Bathroom renovation. We could not be more pleased with the results. Beth was a consummate professional and was able to envision our goals with an eye for what works functionally and enhanced the beauty of our home, while keeping us on budget. The funny thing is we used to read home magazines all the time and dog-ear pages so as imagine what it would be like to have a perfect home. We don't need to do that anymore, because Beth and Carey Brothers created that for us. Carey Brothers and their staff brought their years of wisdom and experience to every aspect of the work and paid attention to every detail and would not stop until we were absolutely enthralled with the work, and we are!!

Beth and the Carey Bros. team were amazing to work with. They took my vision and turned it into reality all with practical advice and expert craftsmanship. They held to their budget and schedule and communicated consistently during the entire process. I couldn't be happier!

WOW - we LOVE the Carey Brothers! DPG Design has been collaborating with the Carey Brothers for over a year and it has been fantastic. We are very excited about the 604 Second Street, Brentwood renovation that we partnered with them on. We designed the landscape and brought in landscape vendor partners. The work that The Carey Brothers did on that home was beautiful. Looking forward to doing more projects with them.

My husband and I never did a home remodel and were extremely nervous. When we made the decision to remodel our master bath we wanted a company that we felt comfortable with. When Carol first came to our home her easy going way and calm demeanor was reassuring. She listened to what we wanted asked questions about what we liked and took pictures and measured and remeasured to check her work. She was always available to answer questions and I know she searched endlessly to find the perfect tile for our bathroom. Both James and Carol presented the bid for the job and thoroughly went through the process and presented us with a book with all of the information and plans again they settled in for a long evening of questions and reassuring us that everything was going to OK. They introduced us to our lead contractor Eduardo who was punctual every day, friendly and a perfectionist, he was like family. He also answered my questions took time to explain things and showed me how he was doing things. When he went to lunch one of my dogs felt so comfortable with him that Sammie sat next to him in the garage. The crew cleaned up after theirselves every day and were extremely careful not to disturb or damage anything in our home. Everything was protected and covered to ensure this. On days when James was not available to come to our home to check on things he would have Eduardo send pictures and have conversations over the phone. Carol also came to the house to check on progress. I could go on and on about the positive experience that we had with this family owned company. We will hire them again when we are ready to do further renovations. Thank you for your professionalism, being perfectionalists, and making this remodel painless.

My wife and I hired the Carey Bros., James, Morris and Carol (Morris's wife) to help us remodel the inside of our 15-year old house in a gated retirement community. From the very beginning of the project to the very end they were available to us. They answered all our design questions, gave us suggestions and recommendations for products, finishes, colors, services and more. They cheerfully made changes and adjustments when requested, did purchases and took deliveries, returned goods that were flawed, broken or otherwise unacceptable. All in all, the made the project as stress-free to us as possible, and in the end, we have a beautiful, comfortable, functional and trouble free home.

The Carey Bros are the complete package. They do what they say there going to do. Safe. clean, and on time They are above and beyond my expectations and I'm picky.

The Carey Bros. are more than just "hired hands" for a house project. They are family with a relationship that extends 40 years. Their first project with us was a major kitchen remodel which still looks as good as when it was completed in 1988. Their latest work involved mostly a very long-overdue painting the exterior of the house along with electrical and bathroom fixture updates. Their detailed thoroughness and preparation, the performance and attitude of their onsite crew, post-job clean-up and follow-through demonstrates not just professionalism and experience but love, a sincere care and passion for what they do.

We had the pleasure of working with James and Morris Carey for a major renovation of our back yard. From the very beginning, they were very personable and made us feel comfortable. They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, accommodating, reliable, and very creative. One of the many positive things we noticed right away was that no matter how chaotic our yard looked while they were here, they would clean up and put tools away in the evening before they left. We had several conversations and they would listen carefully. We realized that because whatever design they presented to us always contained our personal preferences. They gave us options and have a network of professionals they can recommend for special projects. By the middle of our project, we were practically finishing each other’s sentences. Whenever we spend time in our new backyard, we feel like we are on vacation somewhere special and our conversation always includes our appreciation for them and their creativeness. We have other projects in mind and plan to call them when we are ready to proceed. Vic & Irene Gonzales

I've know the Carey Brothers for over 3 years now and together we have been through 3 large projects and none larger than our most recent Kitchen and bathroom renovation. We completely gutted the kitchen and 3 of our bathrooms for this renovation. Although this should have been very stressful for the family, James and Morris and their team provided amazing support so that the project went as smooth as possible for my family. The Carey brothers found an amazing company that built and installed our custom cabinets. Workmanship was to the highest quality & standard and Carol Carey coordinated the cabinets and the Granite so that the kitchen came together in a timely manner. Carol Carey transformed our ideas we had for the bathrooms into reality and all 3 bathrooms were just simply stunning. James and Morris treat their work as though they were working on their own home. Problems that pop up are simply taken care of and in all 3 projects they never nickel and dimed me for things that inevitably come up in renovation projects. It's extremely difficult to find a company that can produce high quality workmanship on a consistent basis and with the care that is normally only given by the owners themselves but James and Morris have surpassed my expectations every time we have worked together. I have been so fortunate to have found the Carey Brothers for all my home renovation projects and I look forward to more in the future. I thoroughly recommend them for all your home renovation projects.

We enthusiastically recommend Carey Brothers Remodeling! Our remodel included two full bath rooms, a powder room and our foyer, and rebuilding our deck. We're very pleased with the results, both aesthetically and in terms of improved functionality and accessibility. The brothers both have decades of experience and amazingly extensive knowledge of the construction industry, including the latest methods, tools and materials. They did most of the work on our job themselves and their work is excellent. The sub-contractors they brought on the job were also top-notch. Carol Carey did a great job on the design of our remodel and helped us choose beautiful fixtures, finishes and colors. They kept on schedule and on budget, and always showed up when they said they would. In addition, they are always cheerful and fun to be around, taking some of the stress out of remodeling. We would definitely hire them again!

Because we wanted to have 3 bathrooms remodeled in an updated & 1st class manner we selected Carey Bros. from others we had considered. Carol Carey, aka "The Remodeling Babe" , was essential in helping us select all of our materials. A task that would have been overwhelming without her expertise. The Carey Bros. kept an open line of communication with us during the entire project. They kept us updated on everything from cost to scheduling so we always knew what to expect and when. They were open to changes & they made us feel like a priority. The job was completed in a timely manner and we are delighted with the results. We would hire them again.
