Classic Renovations

We had Classic in to renovate three bathrooms in our house. The work was on time, clean and well done. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

We had Classic Renovations upgrade our en-suite bathroom ........ shower stall, vanity, electrical and plumbing. Both Darren and Andrew were excellent to work with. Darren with his patience as we changed our minds on what to do a couple of times and Andrew in overseeing the project and the unexpected issues that arise in any renovation and the best way to solve them. All the trades they use were also excellent and extremely polite and considerate while working in our home. Would highly recommend contacting them. We certainly will be for our next project.

This is the best renovation company we have ever dealt with. Our bathroom needed a total makeover to not only update it but make it disabled friendly. We needed advice on everything from overall design to choice of fixtures,flooring,paint colors etc. Darren and his team can do it all. We were given a detailed project and price quote( which stayed the same even though we had to delay our project by 6 months) . All the subcontractors Classic used were top grade ,reliable and efficient. Classics own team is highly skilled and able to find solutions to the inevitable challenges(surprises) that crop up whenever a major makeover is undertaken. On a daily basis their skilled people arrived on time ,worked very efficiently(answered any and all questions we had (even the dumb ones), cleaned up before leaving and left us feeling the project was well in hand. Thanks to the outstanding team at Nanaimo Classic Home Improvement . We are very happy with the total renovation, from top to bottom, of the house we purchased which has now become our dream home. From our first introduction, the Project Manager Darren guided us through the design, materials needed ( tiles, carpets, sinks, faucets, countertops, custom cabinetry , lighting, toilets and anything else needed ) timelines and budgets. The renovation came in on budget and on time. There were no surprises or hidden costs:) We received exactly what was proposed. Construction was supervised by Andrew who was always available for updates and responded promptly to any inquiries we had. The quality of the workmanship provided by the carpenter Shane and Bruce was exceptional. Shane went out of his way to provide us with updates and also consulted us regarding any small details which required our input. We were living in Vancouver during the renovations and the pictures Shane provided us kept us apprised of the progress of the work. In addition, his tile work was excellent.. The entire team at Nanaimo Classic Home Improvements were professional and pleasant to deal with. We would highly recommend Nanaimo Classic Home Improvements to anyone contemplating the renovation of their home.

We had our main bathroom and ensuite renovated. Darren and his team were excellent from start to finish. From initial meeting, designs, picking out cabinets/fixtures to the project itself. They walked us through the project, provided a fair estimate. The workmanship was excellent and we were very happy with the end result. The carpenter(s) were top notch and you can tell, cared very much about what they were working on.

We are so happy with our new shower. The fellows took out the tub, etc. & replaced it with a lovely tiled walk-in shower. They are real professionals ( & fun too). Thanks to all of you.

We had an excellent experience with Classic Home Nanaimo in renovating our kitchen. Everyone we worked with was a pleasure. The designer worked collaboratively with us, listening to our ideas and adding some great ones of his own. We were happy to have the construction team in our home. Andrew, the project manager was always attentive to our needs, managing all the facets of the renovation, always in consultation with us. Bruce, the finishing carpenter was skilled, meticulous and so tidy. The kitchen is beautiful to see and use.

We had a very awkward space to fill between two rooms with two different types of flooring and a concrete footprint that we needed to cover. We also needed to match our existing kitchen cabinets and countertop, which were built by another cabinetmaker. Classic Home Improvements (Nanaimo) built a peninsula that combined our design ideas with their craftsmanship to a T. We are very pleased with their service, efficiency, workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail. Our peninsula was installed one full month ahead of their estimated schedule.

I would just like to say that all the workers were very professional, we knew exactly who to contact if we needed help. Darren was a fantastic help with the interior he has a good eye for design and colors. Andrew was also very good at seeing what could be done to make the house look modern and to get us back into the house as fast as possible. They were very prompt at fixing any minor things that were wrong. I would definitely recommend this company to someone looking for a home renovation.

We had our cabinet doors replaced in the kitchen and what a difference it made it looked like I was walking into a brand new home. The carpenter, Bruce, did an awesome job he was polite and professional and really cares about the work he does. Classic Home Improvements kept on schedule and budget. We are looking forward to having the company return in the near future to do more renovations for us. We hired Classic home Improvements to renovate our kitchen primarily, but also refresh the entire interior of our home. I really enjoyed working with the team. They gave us a detailed quote for the project that was very accurate, we worked with their designer, Jen, to plan the kitchen and the cabinets were made by the company. Our project manager was a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. Andrew communicated clearly and in a timely manner. He also did a great job brainstorming solutions as little problems came up. We had one primary carpenter who was working on our project most days. Bruce was lovely to have in my home and I appreciated his attention to detail. Some days during the project, there were tradespeople from several trades onsite. Seeing some of the others made me appreciate anew how pleasant it was to interact with the staff from Classic Home. They were universally respectful and professional. It was clear that the crew enjoyed working together and I believe this makes a difference in their outcomes. Our project has been completed for a year now and we still love our "new" home. We had the company back to do a couple minor fixes and adjustments after everything settled. This was all part of our initial contract and showed their willingness to stand by their work.
