We have been working on our small house for years. When it came time for the kitchen we didn't have a big budget so we decided to do as much as we could ourselves. Midway through I needed design help. After going everywhere we could think of, I found Dovetailed on line. Loved the designs but thought it was a bit out of my price range. But knowing this was the kitchen I would have for the rest of my life I did not want an expensive mistake. So I made an appointment. Scott was so nice and he understood exactly what I wanted. It was like he knew me. We trusted him and never looked back. And you know he was about the same price as anyone else. If i had consulted with him earlier it would of saved me a lot of frustration. We bought our counters from him and he helped design the rest of the kitchen. Thank you Scott.

Scott Purswell is not only a brilliant kitchen designer but a man of high integrity and I can not say enough good things about his shop and service in this limited space. Intentionally I made cold calls (dressed down) at various kitchen design shops in the Portsmouth area and Scott's Dovetailed Kitchens was the ONLY shop at which I was treated with warm welcome and respect. He proceeded to carefully listen to my needs and respond patiently and intelligently to my many concerns and questions about cabinetry quality and design. His shop offers a choice of quality cabinetry in various price ranges. Scott was gracious when I had to make changes after granite decisions and made sure that cabinet accessories received were of a high quality. The installer arranged for by Scott was absolutely fabulous. The kitchen is literally and figuratively at the heart of our new home on the seacoast of New Hampshire and Dovetailed Kitchens deserves much of the credit.

Scott was very professional and worked with us on every detail to be sure our project was done perfectly. From the design perspective Scott gave great ideas and helped us get to the beautiful kitchen we live in now. The installer was amazing as well - very detailed and did wonderful finish work. Dovetailed Kitchens was our first stop and provided us with design services as well as a referral to an excellent contractor. After that it was easy. They managed a beautiful full remodel of our kitchen. Scott / Dovetailed Kitchens listened to our ideas and wishes, provided creative solutions and made them happen. Now we admire the results while cooking in our wonderful new space.

Dovetailed Kitchens designed our kitchen when we built our home. Working with Scott was the highlight of our home building project. The kitchen he helped us create has been everything we hoped. The great thing about working with Scott is that he really listens to your wants and needs and he is respectful of your budget. He suggested details that we hadn't considered and they really added so much to the finished project. We will be using Dovetailed Kitchens again when we add on to our kitchen and upgrade our Master Bath. We wouldn't consider using anyone else.

My husband and I turned to Dovetailed Kitchens for the design of our kitchen for a 32 year old saltbox home. The kitchen w was dated and not functional for the entertaining we enjoy doing. .The design process was so much fun for me. Scott Purswell was fantastic at helping me narrow down my choices between what I loved and just liked. My husband and I knew what atmosphere we were going for and have a good sense of style / color coordination / space. Scott wowed us with fantastic ideas and brought in exactly what we requested. We were going for a Craftsman Style Kitchen that was open and brought in as much daylight as possible. .Scott was respectful of our budget and never once tried to convince us to spend more than we needed, and he always responded quickly to emails and phone calls with our many questions. We won’t be doing another kitchen renovation anytime soon, but we will do our master bath and Dovetailed Kitchens is who we will use.
