Travis and his team truly set the bar extremely high for the Columbus market. These guys did a fantastic job completely redoing my staircase and flooring in a beautiful solid white oak, sand in place, with each board cut to specific length thereby leaving ZERO seams. And with a custom applied finish the result gives a bleached oak appearance. Very modern. They also updated all of the trim in my house in a custom format lending a contemporary design detail to an industrial townhouse in the short north. This work has elevated my home in aesthetic and it couldn't have turned out better. I'm thrilled with the outcome and look forward to tackling other projects with the Ketron Team!

We had a great experience with Ketron on a major first floor renovation. Thay were able to interpret our vision, take it to the next level, and came to the table with efficent and edited suggestions to get to our goal. We hired Ketron Custom Builders in 2014 for an extensive remodel of our 1880 Victorian Village home. Despite encountering numerous structural deficiencies during the project, Ketron worked with us every step of the way to make the best choices for us and our home. We brought our own decorator to the mix and Ketron was able to work with him throughout the entire process; we really appreciated willingness to collaborate through every step of the process. We came to appreciate Ketron's attention to detail through every phase of our project from inception to finishes.

We hired Ketron to convert our unfinished attic space into a master suite. The scope of the project involved challenges unique to a Victorian home that Ketron managed with skill and attention to detail. All members of the team are knowledgeable craftsmen that share a commitment to quality. From the basics to the finishing touches, they helped us to make design decisions that would create the space we wanted. Communication was excellent with team members and we trusted them to be in our home. Their professionalism and reliability was unbeatable. The completed renovation was an amazing transformation into a functional retreat in our home. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend Ketron Custom Builders for any home project.

Scope of the project: Complete kitchen and partial first floor renovation. Early on in the contractor interview process, it was clear that this company was different. In fact, they were hired after only a few short meetings. Especially attractive was the fact that they possessed the ability to complete the design as well as the material and appliance selections in-house. Not to mention the experience and no-nonsense attitude of the husband and wife ownership team. The project was completed ahead of schedule and would have been even more so if not for a delay in shipment of one of the materials used! Ketron personnel are extremely professional, courteous and its evident in their work how much pride is flowing through it. They use what they call a "lead carpenter" who doubles as the site supervisor who is responsible for the home when work is going on. The level of comfort we felt with this arrangement was second to none. Although we did not need to vacate the premises during construction, often we were unable to be onsite due to other obligations. We necessarily had to put a high level of trust into whomever we chose as the contractor and Ketron did not disappoint. Simply put, Ketron is synonymous with trust. It truly was both rewarding and fun to arrive home in the evening to find the project changing on a daily basis as it progressed toward its completion while never having to worry about who or what was going on at the house!!! The final result of the project was better than we could've imagined. We still cannot believe the attention to detail and quality workmanship that was used. The end of the project was almost bitter sweet as we felt like we wanted the relationship to continue. How many times have you felt that way about a service provider?? In fact, we almost immediately began to consider what the next Ketron project would be in our home!!!

Ketron Custom Builders did a complete renovation of our kitchen including custom cabinets by Cooley, granite countertops, a relocated island, a new lighting package, rerouted heating and electrical systems and flooring. The quality of their work was excellent. Travis and Shari Ketron were most helpful in the design and selection process. The lead carpenter Jarred Wilson did superb work himself and was also a conscientious supervisor of the sub-contractors. We always felt that he represented our interests often much better than we could have done ourselves. Ketron also arranged for the staining of a wood floor in the living room and the installation of a floating wood floor in a passage way. Again the work was of very high quality. Ketron Custom Builders turned our screened in porch into an eating area, expanded our laundry/mudroom, and expanded our garage. This project involved interior and exterior finishes. Throughout the entire process, Ketron builders proved to be extremely professional, curtious, organized, and easy to work with. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend them to potential customers.

I interviewed at least 5 contractors before I hired Ketron Builders. My husband is a new paraplegic and as a result, our needs were different than most. It was critical that they were met. Had I gone with the first contractor I talked to, we might have ended up with a nice bathroom, but it wouldn’t have worked for someone in a wheelchair. We needed Ketron Builder’s experience with universal design. Our bathroom was very small, with no possibility of wheelchair access. Ketron figured out the best way to expand the bathroom space so my husband could have a spacious wheel in shower. In addition, they took a lot of time and care working with him to get the positioning of the grab bars, the toilet, the sink and the linen closet just right for his ease of use. That was impressive and they got it right. From my perspective, Ketron had the needed credentials and experience. I got a very attractive, functional bathroom that matches our older home’s décor, and I was only without a shower for 4 days. How they did that was pure magic. I would and have recommended them to others.

We have worked with Ketron Custom Builders on 4 projects, a large backyard patio and outdoor fireplace, beer taps, custom interior barn door, and interior remodeling/basement project. Their workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. Travis and Shari have a great process, including thorough and creative designs and ideas and great customer service throughout the entire project. The final products have exceeded our expectations. The project managers are also excellent craftsmen, as well as people you can trust to be in your home when your not home. We certainly would recommend them for any projects and will definitely be continuing to use them in the future.

I appreciate the uniqueness of all Ketron Custom Builders' designs, i.e. the built-in keg taps in the Granville kitchen remodel and the recycled slate barn roof tile table. Their work is always carefully thought out and well planned. I highly recommend Ketron Custom Builders.

I hired Ketron Custom Builders in 2007 to do a whole house renovation and significant addition to my Victorian Village American four square home. It was a complex project of significant scope, and my desire was to both return the home to its original arts and crafts splendor (with the Victorian Village Commission approving all changes) and modernize, adding a luxury kitchen and second floor master suite. After that first experience ... I can't imagine ever using a different contractor. The woodwork in the new addition so closely matches the original woodwork that it is almost impossible to tell them apart, and the quality of the construction has stood the test of time. They went the extra mile on each detail, and looked for creative solutions at each step in the project. In the years that followed Ketron has completed a screened-in three season room (with removable glass windows) and completed numerous smaller projects. Ketron attention to detail, creativity and integrity are excellent and the customer service I receive from all members of the team (from the owner to the most junior member of the team) have frankly spoiled me. I always feel like their #1 priority, and know I will get 100 percent on each job.

Ketron Custom Builders seamlessly integrated a kitchen, mudroom and master closet addition into our 100+ year old home. They were attentive to even the smallest details. For example, they installed new floor boards that matched the old ones exactly and built door and window moldings with the same profile as the old ones. I felt comfortable having all their employees in my home. They were very knowledgeable and informative on every conceivable topic and I appreciated the input and assistance they offerred throughout the project. They offerred exemplary guidance on everything from flooring and light fixtures to whole house sound systems and gutters. I would definitely recommend Ketron Custom Cuilders.
