In the past few years we have had the good fortune to hire Alon and Live Well to remodel or kitchen and master bath. Alon is a man of honor and good taste. What he says he will deliver, he does with both style and care. He was kind and patient with our questions and gave us very fare pricing. On both jobs he completed the work on time. He told us in the beginning that price might go up because unlike superman, he couldn't see through walls. He had 6% overage which he explained clearly and showed us why it was necessary. I have done remodels before and I usually added 15% in my mind to what I thought it would cost. We were very happy with the 6%. His crews were wonderful. They treated us and our home with respect. They were friendly and extremely competent artisans. Overall the experience was wonderful and we love our new kitchen and bath.

The reason why we went with Live Well Remodeling and Alon is because he is someone we trust. We felt like he wasn't trying to upsell us and gave us straight forward, no BS answers. He even went out of his way to ensure we didn't unnecessarily overspend on items. This was our first home remodel. In addition to being trustworthy, he also was patient and answered AND STILL answers our questions today. He has a great demeanor, is easy to work with, and will constantly be in contact with you as your project progresses. Alon and his team executed on a complicated vision that we had for our ADU. We had a vision of a a studio apartment that also had a rec space that was also a home office... oh! And also a gym that would flow in to the outdoors. (Wow!) We had a really hard time explaining the space, so we were very pleased with not only how the vision came together but also the craftsmanship, quality and overall beauty of the space. We now spend the majority of our time enjoying this indoor/outdoor area and could not be happier! Thank you Alon and team!

Alon and his company, Live Well, built a primary bedroom and bath addition to our century-old bungalow in Pasadena, working with us from planning and permitting through final construction. He built us a beautiful space that was everything we dreamed of. Alon delivered high quality and remained committed and responsive to our project from start to finish. We contacted Alon and Live Well because of a friend referral and he met with us before we had a clear picture of what we wanted to do. He arranged the architect to draw up the plans and shepherded the process of permit approval through the city of Pasadena. The permit process was drawn out because of the pandemic, but Alon gave regular unprompted updates over several months as we waited on the city. When construction began, Alon was on site regularly and always looked for opportunities to improve the project and make sure we were happy. For instance, we asked to add a window after a wall was in place and Alon worked with the structural engineer and window maker to figure how to make it happen. He also added a small entry closet to make better use of space than we originally planned. Adding on to an old house can be a long and sometimes confusing process. We were glad to have Alon as our contractor. He is honest and reliable and knows his craft. His crew is kind and dedicated and takes obvious pride in their work. We fully and enthusiastically recommend Alon and Live Well.

Live Well Remodeling replaced our roof and waterproofed our balcony. They got the job done in only 3 days. The workers were professional and took great care to clean up the area around the house. The owner stopped by regularly to answer questions and check that everything was going exactly according to the plan. The new roof looks great!

Live Well Remodeling and Construction replaced our old, antiquated garage with a new ADU. The project was very personal to us. We wanted to build a home that we would be comfortable downsizing to a home that our children could move back to, and ultimately a home that would offer options for us and others in the future. Alon and staff was excellent and one of the stand out experiences was that Alon really listened, kept us up to date daily and managed every aspect of a pretty complex process. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the work they've done for us!

Alon did an amazing job of redesigning my 30 years old kitchen. Although the footprint of the space didn't change, the functionality doubled. It looks amazing and has so much more useable space. We had Live Well Remodeling and Construction and build our bathroom remodel, and I have only the highest praise for this company. First, and foremost, Alon is a joy to work with. We did not employ a separate designer for this projects, and he helped every step of the way, offering both aesthetic and practical advice as well as ensuring that we were given the best possible price on the various parts. He regularly met with us on shopping expeditions. The work itself was done by craftsmen who took a lot of pride in their work, and Alon's attention to detail was extraordinary. Live Well flawlessly renovated our backyard, including a new patio, electrical work, landscaping, and aluminum awning. Everything was meticulously finished, exactly on budget. Alon, the owner, kept in good communication, and completed the work as quickly as he and his team could. We've been living in our new space for a month now, and couldn't be happier. Alon and his team did a great job on our small kitchen project. It was actually a very difficult project to take on as it involved some plumbing, some granite cutting, etc. Most of the contractors I contacted quoted me for a much bigger project, while at the same time up selling/pushing for a complete kitchen remodel, which was never on the table for us. A lot of the handyman I contacted felt like the project was too big for them, and didn't want to take it on. Alon gave by far the most reasonable quote in terms of price and estimated time. He and his team showed up right on time and was able to finish the project in the quoted time despite having to stay a bit later than expected to finish. They also left the work area very clean. They had to work around a measurement issue (one of the appliances was too small for the opening), and even stayed late to help resolve some unexpected issues that arose unrelated to their work. The work they did was very satisfactory for us.

We couldn't have been happier with Live Well Remodeling and Construction who met and exceeded our expectations! As our home is in flame zone (FZ) the build regulations were as complicated as you can get. We got quotes from three operators, and whilst the costs were similar, the others didn’t make any effort to design according to what we wanted but instead tried to find a design that would get around the FZ ratings and make it easier for them. However, Live Well Remodeling and Construction designers, office staff and builders took it on as a challenge and overcame it quickly, professionally and most importantly worked with us on every step, to ensure they were in keeping with our desired design (and budget!). We can’t speak highly enough of the entire Live Well Remodeling and Construction team who were experienced, professional, courteous, and well within the timelines outlined, so would recommend them above all others.

Alon and his crew remodeled my master bathroom and did an incredible job. He gave me lots of valuable advice as to items to chose for the bath and was always available by phone or in person to answer questions. The workmen he brought in to do the demo, tiling and painting were always on time and worked a full 8-hour day and barely took time for lunch -- very hard workers. His plumber and electrician were also extraordinary and were also always available to answer questions and provide advice. Communication is key in the construction process and Alon and his workmen excel at this. I highly recommend Live Well Remodeling and Construction.

Live Well Remodeling and Construction installed a really beautiful and functional kitchen for us. Eddie was very responsive. He always replied to our questions punctually. Tim and Steve were very professional, tidy and courteous. It was a delight having them around and as one reviewer said, we missed them when they were gone. David is a hands on team leader. We were surprised that he was very much on top of the project and was aware of the progress of the work on our kitchen. He was quick to resolve any issues and he followed through to the solution. We hired Live Well Remodeling and Construction to do our Kitchen remodel. We had 1 estimates prior to Live Well Remodeling and Construction. Alon was very knowledgeable about the company and about kitchen remodels which made us feel safer and confident about hiring this company for our kitchen. We have recessed light all around the kitchen, the big counter top add a lot to the kitchen which gives a lot of space for cooking. Live Well Remodeling and Construction did a bathroom remodel for us recently. They transformed a typical bathroom into one that is elderly friendly. They replaced the tub with a curbless, walk-in, tiled shower, replaced the toilet with a high seat toilet, replaced the cabinet with a kitchen height cabinet, added grab bars, a shower seat and an adjustable height handheld shower head. They upgraded the sink, faucet, flooring, wall paint, towel bars and toilet roll holder. The workers were all excellent. They arrived on time and worked steadily and efficiently.
