Mr-Craftsman

I got 5 bids on my whole house renovation, Mr. Craftsman came in the most expensive. We chose Mr. Craftsman because of his convincing sales pitch. Mr. Craftsman exacts words were he was more expensive than everybody else, he does high-quality work and any little extras he won't charge for, he said he won't Nickle and Dime us. At the end of his sales pitch, he said he does not ask for money upfront. We chose him based on what he said. It turned out every chance he got to Nickle and Dime us he did, the only part of that conversation that was true as he did not ask for money upfront. Certain aspects of the renovation were subpar to mediocre at best. The attached pictures are of some of the shoddy work the painters and other "craftsmen" did. They neglected to wipe certain areas before they painted. In one picture they painted over dust particles, there are patches they repaired that they painted over without wiping clean. The painters also epoxyed the garage floor, the attempt they made was absolutely atrocious, it had to be redone by someone else. In another picture, you can see the cement missing in spots under the floor tile by the door. The finishes to the Custom Built Bbq Island that they made are nonexistent. I had them install a new electric panel. Within the first couple of days of hiring them, I handed them a whole house surge protector to install and after the panel was put in I was told there was no room. The Panel they put in was too small for the size of the house. I had electrical breakers trips constantly so I hired an Electrician to redo the panel at an extra cost of $2280. The list of things goes on and on of what he did wrong and his arrogance was unbelievable The communication between us was absolutely terrible, he so arrogantly told us he does not have a degree in communication. I would never rehire or recommend Mr. Craftman to anyone. I have hired many contractors over the years and this has been the worst experience ever. I got to know some of his subcontractors' first and last names from working on my house and from emails and phone calls. What disturbs me the most and I find it very unethical when he gives himself a FIVE STAR REVIEW and a couple of his subcontractors write 5 STAR REVIEWS on his google webpage. If I had known that at the beginning I would have never hired him.

My husband and I hired Mr. Craftsman to complete a total home renovation-popcorn ceiling removed, complete home painted with knockdown accent wall in living room, carpets removed from all bedrooms-replaces with laminate wood flooring, furniture removed and brought to dump, patio surface completed, walkway redone with faux stone surface Excellent work; professional, respectful demeanor; punctual; great decorative feedback given when needed; adaptable-able to add more small projects as needed Abided to Covid-19 infection control stipulations, communication was great! Reasonable pricing Would Highly recommend this company for any home projects Thank you

Kevin at Mr-Craftsman was brought in on a bathroom remodel when we were getting questionable advice from other sources along with estimates that were spiraling out of sight. His solutions and recommendations were down to earth yet fit our needs. His costs were realistic and practical without adding unnecessary frills or taking away key reasons for doing the bathroom remodel. Good advice. Good pricing. Good workmanship.

In my kitchen renovation a excellent job from Mr craftsman, they really know what they are doing, they are clean reliable and professional, the job was done in time and fill all my expectations, I'm very happy!!

Pitiful and unprofessional. Terrible quality. When I asked for things like, staighten out the the crooked faucet handles you installed, or, realign the cabinet drawers so they close smoothly, he only made it worse. After job was closed, I discovered my hot and cold water were reversed. Later the oven became detached and now wobbles. A bathroom drawer front came off completely. I'll deal with it. I wouldn't let him back into my place.

I recently purchased my first home and really needed to remodel my kitchen and bath right away. I was able to hire mr craftsman to do the job and I'm glad I did. His staff seemed very knowledgeable and finished the job timely and efficiently. I would recommend mr craftsman to my friends and neighbors.
