Ron Scott Design team did an outstanding job on our basement. After a flood we were stumped as to who we could trust to repair and refinish it for us. They gave us great design ideas and even added a closet! We enjoyed working with them at all levels. Thank you we love our new basement!

Ron Scott Design Build is finishing up a whole first floor remodel for us (June - December 2022). They basically had to gut the whole first floor (about 2,000 square feet) and set up a new footprint, designed initially by our Architects (but ultimately the finished design came from Ron Scott Design and us working together to realize what we actually wanted). They put in new red oak flooring everywhere (it is STUNNING)...ridiculously beautiful! They painted every surface (several times to make sure it was exactly right - since I kept changing my mind in a few places on color!). They added a new bathroom and bedroom. They re-did the whole kitchen from the studs, including putting in a very large new window. We have loved working with them. Scott is exceptionally easy to talk to, articulate and knowledgeable. He is a problem solver who will get in there and fix something himself if one of his workers falls ill or doesn't do things the way he likes them. We feel VERY lucky to have found them (I found them through a Designer friend of mine....who also worked with us on this project). I know this review sounds too rosy to be true.....but, really ....I mean every word. We went through several builders (quite famous in the area) before we actually engaged Ron Scott Design Build. We couldn't be happier and feel so lucky that the other builders fell through! Our gain! We would highly recommend them for absolutely any job you have. Great people and fantastic work! Oh also....they are clean freaks! If you live in your house while they work (which we did)....they leave the place spotless when they leave.

I met Scott through a designer and originally just wanted his assessment after water damage. I appreciated his recommendations and came away from that first conversation feeling much better informed and with a much more positive feeling than I'd had with any other contractor.. When it came time for the renovation, I knew I wanted Scott. He is very knowledgeable, professional, creative and is a highly skilled craftsman. Scott provided detailed and realistic estimates for the budget and projection completion time. He provided regular updates throughout the project so I always knew what to expect. Scott is and has been one of my favorite GC's that I have worked with in the past 20 years. I currently operate in 18 states and have asked Scott to travel on a number of occasions. His skill set, expertise, ability to manage challenging issues and solve problems, is as good as it gets. His professionalism and knowledge are an asset to anyone and or project he lends his expertise to. When Scott and his Team are on site, you can focus on other projects, because the one/several that he is on are on budget, on schedule, and at a level of high quality (tough to get these challenging days). Scott and his team did a great job. We wanted to replace the carpet, wood and tile flooring in the first floor of our home. Scott came to our house to scope the project and help us talk through our requirements and different options to fit within our budget. The floors look spectacular. From the start of the work the project took a total of 8 days to complete. Scott and his team were considerate and performed high quality work to make sure we were happy with the end result. Scott did a renovation of our Master Bathroom with a custom shower in 2018 which turned out amazing as well. My wife and I still discuss how happy we are with the outcome more than 4 years later. Ron Scott Design Build recently completed a kitchen remodel, a kitchenette a closet addition, and various cabinet and shelf upgrades. We are ecstatic with the results. The workers and subcontractors were meticulous and detailed and were excellent at cleaning up each night. We were particularly impressed with his ability to solve the problems that arise in any remodel effort. The remodel entailed cutting many holes in drywall to reroute plumbing and electrical; the repairs to the drywall were done so well that we cannot see any seams. Ron Scott was excellent at keeping us informed about his schedule and planned steps for each day. The project was completed on schedule and within the original budget.
