Vick Construction did a complete kitchen, laundry and powder room renovation for us. We are so happy with the final results and have been very pleased with the follow up and attention to detail.from Kevin Vick and his subcontractors. The quality of the work was high, and the job site was kept very clean - important since we were living in the house throughout! They were great with letting us know the schedule and what to expect each week. The crews were very professional and a pleasure to have on site.

We recently completed a very extensive renovation of our 1st floor and we absolutely love the end result of our engagement with Vick Construction! We interviewed several general contractors and after meeting with Kevin Vick (owner of Vick Construction) we were confident that he and his team could deliver our expectations for our home remodel. The scope of the project involved a complete reconfiguration of our kitchen, laundry, breakfast area, powder room and master bathroom. Our laundry was relocated to a completely new area of the first floor to make way for a new, larger kitchen (with a 12 ft island & butler’s pantry). Columns were replaced with structural support beams which allows an open floor plan with clear site views. The powder room was totally revamped & the master bathroom was gutted to allow for new double vanities, cabinetry with much needed storage and an expanded shower. A transom window replaced an obtrusively large window allowing for natural lighting. New wood flooring, tile in the laundry and master bath, & updated electrical and plumbing were included in the project. All surfaces were sheet rocked (matching existing perfectly) & superb painting was completed by Vick’s in-house crew. It became clear after our initial meetings with Kevin and his in-house team that we had hired the right GC for this job. He was very thorough in understanding and evaluating what we were looking for, providing guidance & an honest assessment in terms of time /budget.Vick did a very extensive analysis re:our vision & provided us with a realistic picture of expectations during the critical phases. We lived on our 2nd floor during the renovations, so Vick took measures to mitigate the dust & noise associated with demolition & construction. Kevin brought the structural engineer/skilled trades in for planning to ensure all parties were in sync.The actual cost of the project came in very close to the original renovation quote & fortunately very few “surprises” arose throughout the completion of the job. Change orders were kept to a minimum. Permitting/inspections were completed according to code. Communication between Vick, the trades and ourselves were constant throughout the project. This attention to detail from Vick/the trades minimized most of the challenges & many times were identified and resolved prior to becoming obstacles. We chose to utilize one of Vick’s preferred designers, who worked very closely with us to ensure we maintained functionality, flow & decor. If asked to identify the highlight of the renovation; it would be difficult to pinpoint only one particular aspect of the completed work.The people (Kevin, office support, & skilled trades) all played key roles in the deliverance & exceeding expectations. Validation is the fact that we love our gorgeous, newly remodeled home! The level of workmanship allows us to highly recommend using Vick to recreate your Dream home! We would use Vick as our top candidate for future renovations!

We couldn’t be happier with the transformation of our home, thanks to Vick Construction! This was our second project with them, the first being adding a floor to our two-story living room and custom cabinet work in the newly created space. This second project was almost the entire downstairs, entryway, kitchen, living room and dining room. Our new kitchen and living space feels like a dream come true. It's like moving into a new home without having to move! The centerpiece, a stunning layered wood fireplace wall with a sleek linear fireplace, is both modern and cozy—perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The custom wood ceiling panel above the kitchen island adds warmth and elegance, perfectly complementing the mid-century modern stair railing that ties the design together beautifully. One of our favorite features is the ingenious custom room divider and china cabinet that seamlessly blends style with functionality, while the hidden walk-in pantry is an absolute game-changer. Every detail reflects impeccable craftsmanship, creativity, and a deep understanding of our vision. Vick Construction and their team were professional, attentive, and truly brought our ideas to life. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor who can deliver beyond expectations!

Roughly 11-1/2 months later and we are still extremely happy with our remodel. Kevin and his team, from day one, displayed nothing but professionalism throughout the full process. Since completion we have enjoyed family and friends gathering in and around the kitchen for holidays, special occasions, and quick gatherings to have a meal and a visit. Job well done.

Over the years our family has endured several remodeling projects (and one custom designed and built home). Working with Vick Construction to remodel our kitchen was BY FAR the best, most professional experience we've ever had. The project included removing part of a wall, moving a doorway, relocating most appliances, adding smart lighting, new cabinets and countertops and replacing flooring throughout the first floor - basically, everything in the kitchen was touched and at the last minute we added a powder room refresh. Every trade was top notch - I've even used the flooring company for another project. One thing I really appreciated was Kevin's strict adherence to building codes. As a Realtor, I've seen my fair share of inspection reports but I still learned quite a lot, especially about kitchen ventilation! Kevin always returned calls and texts and he was usually on-site 2-3 times a week if not more often. When there were hiccups, they just got resolved without finger pointing or blaming trades. We lived at the house while the kitchen and flooring in the entire first floor was done and Kevin set us up with a temporary kitchen which we greatly appreciated. For the size of the project, completion was within 2 weeks of when he said it would be done - he said he would have us in by Thanksgiving and he did. I would use Vick Construction & Remodeling without hesitation for ANY project in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Vick Construction for my kitchen renovation and replacing all the flooring in our home. I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. Right from the initial consultation, Kevin and his staff were attentive and listened to my ideas and preferences. They provided valuable insights and suggestions that truly elevated the final design. Communication was prompt and clear throughout the entire process, which made us feel comfortable in our decisions. The craftsmanship by Kevin’s subcontractors, from electrical, to plumbing, to appliance installation, to cabinet work, to tiling, and wood flooring installation was outstanding. The renovated cabinets, new countertops and backsplash have transformed the space into a beautiful and functional space. It’s clear that the entire Vick Construction team takes pride in their work. Also, communication on progress and costs was very clear and mitigated any surprises. I would highly recommend Vick Construction for any renovation needs, large or small. Their expertise and dedication to quality are evident in every detail of the new kitchen and flooring.

Vick completed a remodel of our kitchen, butler's pantry and laundry room, earlier this year. The scope of work included demolition, relocating utilities (gas, water, electrical, HVAC), new tile floor in laundry room, laundry room cabinets, refinishing wood floors, installation of appliances, quartzite countertops, redesign of lighting, tile backsplashes, and paint. Vick's in-house crew is excellent - while dust and disruption are inevitable on a project of this scope, they were very good at minimizing both, and did a thorough job of cleanup at the end of the workday. Mr **** and his workers and subcontractors were all very professional and easy to work with. When we encountered some surprises or problems, they were resolved quickly and amicably. The office did a pretty good job of keeping us informed of crew schedules. His subs generally did an excellent job. The laundry room cabinets were are better than the previous builder grade cabinets. The lighting design exceeded our expectations - the lighting improved the ambiance and functionality of our kitchen. The countertop sub was the only one that didn't quite live up to our expectations. The flooring contractor did an excellent job on our walnut floors - they look better than when they were originally installed. We would definitely use Vick Construction again on future projects.

Kevin did our kitchen and downstairs in our Montrose home. He was professional and courteous throughout but most of all sat down and listened to what we wanted and offered ideas and suggestions. When we wanted scope changes, he again talked through them with us, documented everything and talked through before we went ahead. I would love to work with him again in future projects.

Vick Construction replaced a shower and then did a bathroom renovation for us. They expertly diagnosed the repair of the shower and worked really well with us to do a renovation as part of the repair. During the process, we decided to movee to be closer to the family. They offered to do the make ready work on the house, which was well beyond the scope of our agreement. We learned that the house had problems and they stuck with us through a long cycle of inspections and repairs. Vick offered advice, recommended other contractors, and was very patient with our many questions and needs. They were timely, professional, responsive, and the end result was cosmetically and structurally a success. Highly recommended!

Vick Construction was very thorough in their site visits, putting together the estimate and ensuring that we were all aligned in the direction we wanted to go with our replacement fireplace and mantle. Their team came in and isolated the room so that we didn't have any construction dust in the rest of the house, and they were all very friendly and professional throughout the project. They were quick to respond to our messages or phone calls when normal questions, schedule adjustments, or issues popped up throughout the project. We recommend using them for any medium to large home improvement needs.

From beginning to end, the entire Vick Construction team surpassed our expectations. Kevin was always available to talk and would frequently stop by to check on the progress or meet us at appointments if necessary. The office manager, Becky, was also a joy to work with and was in constant communication in regards to scheduling, deliveries, etc. Every single person that came into our home was kind, polite, knowledgeable and cleanly (which we very much appreciated). Not to mention their quality of work is outstanding. We absolutely love our new kitchen, pantry, mudroom, powder room and fireplace. They’re a fun, talented group of people who produce amazing work and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Vick Construction to do 2 full bathroom remodels and create an office space/multi-purpose room in our two-story home. We are so happy we hired them. From the beginning, Kevin, the owner of the company, was extremely hands-on, and involved in all decisions for the project. Becky, the office manager was always available to answer any questions we had and let us know each week what the schedule would be or if there were any changes. Kevin's crew was incredibly professional throughout the project, and their quality and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. The project was completed in a timely manner. The only delays we had were due to changes we made ourselves about fixtures. Vick construction exceeded our expectations. We love our new bathrooms and our multi-purpose space.
