Rhadiante and her team completely transformed our outdoor space. We now have a beautiful place to gather outside and usable space to enjoy with our dogs. Elemental Design team delivers high quality, exceptional landscape design that is functional and visually pleasing. Rhadiante’s knowledge of landscape structures and plant choices exceeded my expectations. She listened to our requests and was able follow through on all of them. I’m looking forward to the spring when all of the plants and trees are on full display. Elemental has given us the gift of years of fabulous outdoor living.

My finished garden project surpassed my expectations. I knew my backyard was going to look good, but it looks even better than I had hoped, and we've gotten tons of compliments. The level of detail that was put in was excellent, from the layout of the hardscaping, to putting in each palm in just the right place. From the beginning, I knew that I wanted help from a designer that would work with me, and not just for me, and Rhadiante was great to work with. I took a risk sourcing someone without any recommendation from friends or family, but it really worked out in the end. I connected with the website and liked the thoughtfulness of materials used, and focus on smaller details. Other sites seemed to keep focus only on basic items such as building a deck, or creating an outdoor kitchen. All great things, but they lacked character and all looked the same after you visited several sites. The team was also incredibly polite, which was a bonus. Even better is that we stayed pretty much on budget, which I know is not always the case with renovations.

Rhadiante was recommended by neighbors of ours where she did a project about 15 years ago. Her team did two projects for us, and we are extremely happy with the way both turned out. Rhadiante listened carefully to our requirements and worked with us to incorporate the existing hardscape and plantings into her design. The projects went very smoothly from design to plant selection. to contractor bidding, and finally supervision and project management of the installation. We couldn't be happier about the complete process and the end results.

We interviewed 4-5 people for our front yard remodel and chose Elemental Design after talking to Rhadiante. She really listened to what our priorities were and paid attention to our personal style. We wanted a very functional yard that made our average looking ranch home look inviting. We explicitly said we didn't need to be the best yard on the block. We aren't, instead we've ended up vying for the best yard in the neighborhood. Sometimes you get more than you ask for. Rhadiante found us a project lead that was a great match for us. She and the project lead worked well together and she kept her finger on the pulse of the project. It's been 2 years and we still get compliments on the yard from people passing by. If you contact Elemental Design, They know we're happy to share our experience and what the yard looks like with others. BTW....we only went over our budget a little bit, pretty good with us. And, if not clear already, we highly recommend Elemental Design.

Rhadiante & her team transformed our small and oddly paved backyard into an organic and beautiful outdoor living space. Rhadiante was fast, knowledgeable, respectful, accommodating and plain fun to work with. She was aware of our budget and kept it very close to where it needed to be without sacrificing the design. We have not finished building the plan she designed but so far it had been a very pleasant experience and we are very excited to finish the execution of it!

We have used Van De Voorde Elemental Design Group on 2 large projects. The first was a complete redesign of our backyard. She did a fantastic job, we had specific requirements and Rhadiante had a way of making the entire yard flow. It is hard to describe. Each element that she adds, can stand on its own, and yet flows from the rest of the yard. The second project was even larger, we built a house and had Rhadiante design the entire landscaping in the front and back yards. The backyard design included a pool, play area, path, grass area, firepit and bbq area with patio. The way she separates each element with her plantings and trees really makes the entire yard flow. Again, we couldn't be happier with the design and everyone that sees the yard just says, "Wow". She has a talent of maximizing a space without overcrowding. Her landscape plans are extremely detailed and our landscape contractor was very impressed, it made his job much easier and helped reduce construction costs, because Rhadiante had already thought of and detailed everything in her architecture plans. We wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Thanks to Rhadiante we have a backyard that is so beautiful that people literally gasp when they see it. The work was done about 7 years ago and everything has grown in and looks fantastic. Rhadiante is a talented designer. Rhadiante worked carefully with both of us to include the features we wanted. She provided us with renderings that allowed us to preview the layout and features. We received detailed sets of blueprints for the contractor - lighting, irrigation, hardscape, and plants. Rhadiante worked closely with the contractor to ensure everything was built as specified. We got exactly what we wanted. Our backyard is an extension of the house and a great space for relaxing and entertaining. We've used it for a wedding and countless other functions with family and friends. One thing I might do differently next time is to carefully consider how the sun moves across the yard - where and when it will be light/hot or cool/shady for the various "rooms" in consideration of how I plan to use the space. Overall we are thrilled with the work done by Van De Voorde Elemental Design Group.

Rhadiante Van De Voorde has a gifted eye for landscape design. She designed and helped supervised the installation of our beautiful backyard. including drainage systems, watering systems, hardscape, walkways, lawn, and of course, all plantings. Both the design and the plantings have flourished wonderfully: a neighbor has said our backyard is a "work of art." I've also hired her periodically to give advice on upkeep and replacements. I will continue to work with Rhadiante and to to recommend her to others.

Rhadiante and Elemental Design Group are simply amazing! Not only do we love her work, but also our family and friends. We just want to stay in the backyard/garden as much as we can. I found the company through google search and liked the photos from her site. I contacted her and 2 other companies and she was the best without any doubt. She was very friendly and understanding. Her designs and blueprints were not only very detailed but also made me believe she and her crew would definitely deliver! We reworked the project a bit to fit in to our budget and there was definitely no tradeoff in the quality of work or function of the garden. Upon completion, the garden was simply amazing, functional and low maintenance. It has been 3 years and it still looks great! I hire her to come back for regular (2-3 times/year) maintenance for a very reasonable price so the garden can retain its beauty! I would definitely recommend her to all my friends who love a low maintenance but yet very charming garden as I do!

Rhadiante designed a landscape for my front and back yards including hardscape and garden. There is an ancient valley oak in the front yard that was to be protected and preserved so the area under the tree was designed with California native plants. The effect is beautiful and natural. The back has a good patio area for outdoor dining and a path around the perimeter that the dog loves to run laps and gives the yard a pleasant frame with a small grassy area and hearty shrubs and natives again. I contracted with Rhadiante to refresh the plants and irrigation in the front yard in 2012 and the results are lovely.

Our project was a relatively small back yard and deck redo. Elemental Design Group was great to work with as they provided easily understood plans, budget and payment schedules, projects were completed ontime and the results were even better than we had hoped. Rhadiante's design skills also helped us by meeting codes but still giving us the look we wanted. Her advice was invaluable. A well-trained and experienced designer brings such a huge improvement in the outcome. We love our yard and it is very functional. I would highly recommend Elemental Design Group to my friends and will continue to use their services as I make some improvements to my front yard.
