Greg was referred to us by our builder, Traditional Homes, Inc. We wanted a unique design for a pool & backyards that would provide privacy and space to entertain/hang out. We met with him several times to draw up a design based on the backyard size and layout. Greg came up with a beautiful drawing which we fine-tuned with his help. He recommended materials for the pool exterior, retaining wall, lighting, and landscape. He incorporated a request for a putting green area in our backyard, too. The entire project is a one-of-a-kind pool design, firepit, and built-in grill that has truly exceeded our expectations for form and function. This firm was recommended by friends of ours in Grande Dunes who said Greg was the best in the area, and we totally agree after the transformation he designed for our home in Market Common. Greg designed a complete package for us including drainage, irrigation, lighting, complimentary plantings, and an outdoor seating and entrance to our home. The plans for each piece of the project were very detailed and easy to follow as he walked us through the plan, and the landscape design he developed was nothing short of beautiful. All the plantings complimented each other and were mindful of the sunlight required to keep them healthy. Greg also put the final plan out to bid and assisted us on making the right decision on a general contractor, (we went with Victoria Construction which was definitely the right choice). Greg also came on site at each milestone to ensure the design was being followed per the plan, which was very helpful. The completed project was nothing short of amazing. What was previously concreate sidewalks, rocks, and haphazard plantings, and very dull has been transformed into beautiful porcelain walkways and seating areas in a landscaped oasis. Truly incredible!

Mr. Duckworth provided site development plans for a new playground area for our elementary school. He helped us with selection of a playground structure for the site, specified plantings for the area and an adjacent study park. Outdoor seating, trash cans, picnic tables, and ground cover were all considered. Of special importantance was the tree protection for our site which has beautiful, mature trees that he was able to save. The design worked so well that ten years later the plant choices still look good and require very little maintenance. We have since increased the size of our building, so the study park has been moved to an interior courtyard. When the architect was designing the courtyard area, he consulted with Mr. Duckworth again to receive recommendations for plant choices. Mr. Duckworth is a well informed, thoughtful designer. He truly listened to our needs and concerns and delivered the plans in a timely fashion. I would give him my highest recommendation.
