Garden Architecture is an award-winning landscape design-build firm based in Berkeley, California.
Over more than 20 years working in the Bay Area, we have developed a keen understanding of local architecture and garden traditions. We design both residential and commercial projects and are known for our high level of craftsmanship and rich detailing.
We are always excited to build our own designs, and are able to insure a smooth transition from the first, broad concept through the completion of construction. The design-build process offers us the opportunity to seamlessly transition between design and implementation, with a hands-on knowledge of construction, as well as a proven sensibility to cost.
Robert Trachtenberg and his team of designers and craftsmen all share a commitment to the collaborative process, and we work alongside some of the area’s best architects and construction companies. We have worked hard to establish long-term relationships with many clients and relish working with them over the years as their needs evolve and their gardens mature.
