Angela has been a beacon of light for my family and me in a complex and quite challenging development project. When I am ready to bang my head against the wall (yet again), she has consistently stepped in and restored my faith in the project (and in people). She has continually gone above and beyond what we originally brought her on board to do. Her skill set is vast and seemingly never-ending. It feels incredibly reassuring to know that she takes her job extremely seriously. She always returns calls and emails promptly. She is both creative AND organized. She always shows up on time. She is not only outstanding in the field of landscape design, but she is also excellent at navigating what are often daunting regulatory and governmental processes. She is diplomatic, often helping to bridge differences among development team members. She is both a consummate professional... and a great person. So in short, I am incredibly grateful for all that Angela has done for our family!

Angela was phenomenal to work with on our new patio in Sudbury. She is extremely knowledgeable about conservation rules/regulations and helped to guide us through every step of a complicated process involving a septic tank and wetlands. She understood our vision and worked with us for over a year to make it happen! The process was so smooth for us given that we trusted her completely and she was an excellent communicator. We have just finished an extensive backyard renovation with Minglewood. Angela and her team helped us transform an overgrown and underutilized foundation bed into a prime, outdoor dining and living terrace. She helped us reuse existing materials to blend old and new spaces and she worked seamlessly with our installer, particularly when questions arose about complicated design details. She was respectful of our budget and cost conscious, careful to consult us and suggest alternative solutions when components came back higher than expected. She is a great communicator and answers emails and texts promptly. I enjoyed collaborating immensely and appreciated that she was eager to include me in plant selection, planning a trip to the nursery together. She respected our vision and goals and kept them at the center of her design. The resulting plant beds and stonework blend perfectly amongst the existing plantings and pre existing patio. Angela exceeded our expectations tenfold and we are beyond thrilled with the result. We look forward to working with Minglewood, LLC on our next project!

We really enjoyed working with Angela. Angela worked with us on hardscaping design and plant selection for our back patio. I can be difficult for designers to work with, but Angela always welcomed my input and put forth designs that incorporated my feedback without it watering down/confusing her designs. She also developed a good rapport with our builder, whom she had not worked with previously. Although she was busy, she always made sure to get back to us in a reasonable amount of time and provided clear records of her billing hours and material costs. Needless to say, we have already started another project and have asked Angela to be our designer again.

Angela did a wonderful job designing and overseeing installation for a sauna project for us. The corner of our landscape needed a fair bit of work (hardscaping, demo and plant design) to make it ready for an outdoor sauna and the result is both functional and beautiful. She had creative ideas, GREAT design vision and she handled all the work coordination and oversight. She has an eye for detail and a no-nonsense and direct approach to her work, which I really valued.

We recently added a swimming pool, and Angela did a wonderful job overseeing the whole project—initial design work, contractor selection, oversight during construction, and close attention to all the details at the end. We are delighted with the results and couldn’t be happier with our choice to work with Angela on it. It was a complex project, involving not just the pool but also significant landscape construction and plantings, and Angela made sure it came out great.

We used to have yard envy, but after working with Minglewood, we’ll never like a yard more than we now love our own. Angela and her team completely overhauled a tired, overgrown wooded landscape and turned it into something stunning. They added two new spectacular granite walkways, a retaining wall, stepping stone paths, and native plantings throughout the front and side yards. They also transplanted existing shrubs and provided several seating areas that beckon us to come outdoors. Angela is a gifted landscape designer and it is a never-ending joy both to tend to the new plantings and to look at them from any window of the house. She has a hard-working team who had to endure harsh weather conditions during the installation, yet everything came out beautifully. We are extremely pleased with the final results and the compliments keep pouring in.

Angela's vision and execution is remarkable. It doesn't seem to matter if the design project is an interior remodel, ecological landscape, or new construction, her adept ability to spin gold out of nothing is simply magical.
