Venni Gardens

Our company core is the husband and wife team of Candy Venni (designer) & Simon Mangan, Landscape gardener. They met in France, combined their considerable experience and built 'Venni Gardens' together. We feel the best design shows a real connection to the land, to the client and a sympathetic relationship to the home – it should feel good when you look at it, it should calm the senses while having a bit of playfulness, a little intrigue. Candy has been awarded for gardens at ‘Canada Blooms’, enjoyed teaching Landscape Design while also working in a volunteer capacity for various ‘green’ organizations. Simon went on to work for Chelsea Gold winning companies (after he studied Horticulture in his native UK), and maintained gardens in central London and villas on the Cote d’Azur. We have detailed understanding of perennials, native plants, trees and shrubs for the Canadian Climate. Locally we’re Greening public and unused spaces as well as bringing awareness about the need for native plants, planting trees and beautifying neglected parks – this is our ethos and complements our professional work.
