I hired Dave to help me rejuvenate an old planter and deck.
I found him respectful and thoughtful in maximizing my limited budget.
I wanted a tropical paradise and I think my garden is spectacular.
I highly recommend David.

Dave Demers and his team are extremely respectful and creative. They have been a joy to have around our home.
Dave is knowledgeable and creative as well as being easy to work with while maintaining a professional attitude.
He arrived at our project after it was well underway and managed to work with other professionals on the job and suggested very good upgrades for us.
He has managed to design a reasonable 4 season garden for us.
I have recommended Dave to a number of friends.

David has a great eye for classic and tasteful design.
Most importantly, with plants and flowers, the design may take a season to grow and be in "full bloom" and has always worked out since we have been working with him, well over 6 years.
He has guided us with:
- large projects, including a complete redesign of the front yard of our home, which many neighbours have commented is the most beautiful yard in our neighbourhood.
- tree trimming to reshape old trees
- rehabilitation of tired plants, including our non-flowering (which has now blossomed) trees
- reimagination of our back yard hedge
Thanks David and Cyan.

My front lawn looked terrible but now I have a beautiful front garden and It is beautiful all year long. I’m not a gardener so I asked for something low maintenance. That is exactly what Cyan Horticulture delivered; beautiful, low maintenance and at a very reasonable price. Perfect. Dave Demers is a genius.

Thank you so much for your nice comment, it sure has been a pleasure to work with you over the years! Your garden has given me so many great photo opportunities, some of the most popular with houzz.com users.

We are really happy with Dave's plan and plant selection for our garden. We are impressed that the garden looked great all winter. Dave was very respectful of our likes and of those plants we wanted to keep. He and his crew were always prompt and were efficient workers. We've recommended CYAN Horticulture to friends and will continue to do so!

Dave is a creative, passionate and detail oriented person and so are the garden spaces he creates! I hired him to design and maintain our entire garden. He is quick to offer his opinion in a constructive way, come up with practical solutions and also fun to have around. He has even helped us deal with an unexpected mole problem! Dave is an absolute authority on plants and landscape design.

I have had the opportunity to work with CYAN and the attention to detail and customer service is impeccable. Alongside their thoughtful design approach to each home is unique to each client through a very thorough programming process. The end result is a project completed on time, within budget and with the attention to site lines from every angle of property. It is an honour to work with the talent and hard working team at CYAN.

I hired CYAN to design the outdoor space on my three decks. I couldn't be happier with the final result. They created a modern, but cozy, oasis I can enjoy with my guests. CYAN also maintains the plants year round, so it looks fantastic with zero effort from me.

Commented: What is that plant with the light pink flowers and burgundy leaves? It's a fairly recent cultivar of Heuchera, one I forget though, sorry. Your local nurseries should have plenty of different cultivars available.

Commented: Love the Look of this yard!!Hello,
This rose was already in place when we started the garden, and is one of the few elements that was preserved. I do not have a name for it, unfortunately, sorry.
Good luck in your search!

Commented: What type of plant is this? This is Acanthus 'Mollis'. Be warned that in warmer climates this plant may be difficult to eradicate (bits of roots left in the ground will sprout again).

Commented: Love the plants in the tall pots, what is their names please? The tall plant in corner planters is actually called Heavenly Bamboo, or more precisely Nandina domestica, a plant botanically not related to proper bamboo at all. We like it for its upright growth ha...
